I'm a remote freelance editor and illustrator so have a flexible schedule and just need a comfortable place with internet connection to be able to work. I typically take dogs on 3 walks a day, and like to take breaks from whatever I'm doing to pet them and tell them how cute they are. A little playtime as well. With cats I try to do a little play break a couple times a day if they show interest.

I enjoy being able to give pet parents peace of mind that their loved ones are being looked after with the utmost care and compassion. I have cared for dogs of various sizes, temperaments and ages. My naturally calm and patient disposition works well with most, especially dogs that may need more time and attention, such as shy dogs or older dogs. Before any walks I will check with you about any safety concerns such as whether your dog has behavioral issues, escapes out the door or out of their collar, or any joint pain or physical limitations they may have. I will tend to stick to routes they are familiar with as this is usually the safest route.

About: I have grown up with cats pet sat for my neighbors and help take care 14 cats at my dad office I also have a diabetic cat of my own I take care of. Every morning/evening I give my cat his insulin feed him and my other three make sure their litter boxes are clean and let them outside in my backyard for play time. we have a wall guarding our backyard and when letting the cats out I stay outside with them to watch make sure they are safe

About: I have spent the last 3 years traveling while doing house/pet sits throughout Mexico, Arizona, California, Michigan, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia and Florida. About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, and horses, and caring for them has always been second nature to me. I’ve supported senior pets through their final stages with patience and compassion, and I’ve also helped care for newborn litters, closely monitoring their health and development as they grow. I’ve owned and cared for an older three-legged dog, and I’ve helped friends with pets who needed assistance walking, standing, or getting comfortable. I currently work a flexible 9–5 schedule, which allows me to stop by during the day for potty breaks, short walks, or check-ins as needed. Outside of my work hours, I have open availability aside from time spent at the gym or caring for my horses at the barn. I have a Belgian Malinois mix who has 24 hour access to our fully fenced backyard with plenty of space to run and explore. She can also come in and relax in our upstairs office whenever she would like, so she is free to choose where she feels most comfortable. We go on daily walks and occasional hikes to keep her happy and fulfilled. Because I also have three indoor cats, one elderly and one still quite young, I supervise full house access to make sure everyone feels safe and relaxed. My dog is very cat friendly, but I am always mindful of each animal’s comfort level. My cats have free roam of the house, lots of toys, cozy spots, and supervised outdoor time during warm summer days. I pay close attention to their different personalities and needs, especially my senior kitty. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping things as normal as possible for them. I like to learn their routine, when they eat, where they sleep, how they like to play, and any little quirks that make them unique. I know how important consistency is for animals, so I do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you are away.
