Michelle and her family were the perfect fit for Mylene. It was so nice to not have to worry about Mylene while on vacation. I could tell that Mylene received a ton of attention on Mylene’s terms, exercise and clear/consistent direction from Michelle. This is why her stay went smoothly and she didn’t destroy anything due to not being stressed and she was able play with 2 other dogs. About: My husband and I have an Australian cattle dog and had a tabby cat who has crossed the rainbow road. I often care for my family members' dog when they are out of town. He requires special care, as he needs to take a few pills every day both day and night. This schedule is second nature to us. We enjoy being around our furry pals and will enjoy caring for yours too! About: I've had dogs and taken care of them since I was a young child. As an adult I’ve fostered dogs for over 5 years, taking care of all types of dogs. I have experience potty training, house breaking, bathing, and more. The dogs I have fostered came from all sorts of backgrounds; homeless, abusive households, neglected, seniors, disabled (blind, deaf, hard of hearing, missing limbs). I enjoy spending time with all animals and animals like to be around me. Currently working on my dog trainer certification I have a flexible schedule since I work from home most of the time. As a dog owner myself I spend a lot of time taking care of my dog. We go on walks 3 times a day, he gets treats, cuddles and play time all day long. On the weekends when the weather is nice we like to go for short hikes. Unfortunately I sustained a bad fall in 2024 and broke my back; so I am unable to care for any pet over 50lbs or any pet that is leash reactive or pulls on a leash. Since that would aggravate the injury and most definetely stop me from caring for pets all together; I hope you can understand! I have a small backyard where we go play fetch, we also love going to Frenchy’s or many of the other parks in the area for walks and off leash play when the weather is nice. Going for walks 2-3 times a day around the neighborhood as well

She's very friendly and personable to people, too! Most importantly, she's extremely reliable. She's very upfront about any potential scheduling conflicts. I get the impression she's the kind of person to under-promise and over-deliver so that there's little chance of miscommunication when it comes to four-legged family. We only had time to meet her once before I left town on a short trip, but I felt totally comfortable leaving her the keys to my home. AND she's a lifesaver. My flight home was delayed indefinitely and she responded asap from work to let me know she'd be able to add an additional walk that night. With a super flexible schedule, I can also include enrichment, play, and outdoor outings when appropriate, while balancing that with plenty of calm rest and supervised downtime. In the evening, we usually have another walk or play session, followed by dinner and a relaxed wind down. Overall, I maintain a steady routine of walks, meals, play, rest, and close observation so your furbabies feel secure, supported, and well cared for. I provide regular walks and engaging activities. With your approval, I can also take your furbaby out for walks and social time at a nearby park. My pup, Taz, is a social butterfly! He adores and gets along with every single pup he has ever encountered from all over the United States while on the road. If your furbaby wants company, he will be the perfect duo. About: Upon having taken care of pets for quite some time now. I have learned that all animals need love and compassion like us. I have cared for a variety of animals from mice to snakes and cats to goats. All of the time learning what to do and not to do with every animal.
