Michelle and her family were the perfect fit for Mylene. It was so nice to not have to worry about Mylene while on vacation. I could tell that Mylene received a ton of attention on Mylene’s terms, exercise and clear/consistent direction from Michelle. This is why her stay went smoothly and she didn’t destroy anything due to not being stressed and she was able play with 2 other dogs. “I left my 70 lb American Bulldog with Michelle for about 4 hours while I visited Bandelier National Monument where dogs are not allowed. She took great care of Venus. I was worried because she has a small dog and there was an incident with my dog where a small dog went after Venus and she responded in turn, causing some injury. But Michelle introduced them slowly and they ended up playing together - now I know it is not small dogs that are the problem but aggressive dogs that make her feel like she is under attack and needs to defend herself.”
About: I've had dogs and taken care of them since I was a young child. As an adult I’ve fostered dogs for over 5 years, taking care of all types of dogs. I have experience potty training, house breaking, bathing, and more. The dogs I have fostered came from all sorts of backgrounds; homeless, abusive households, neglected, seniors, disabled (blind, deaf, hard of hearing, missing limbs). I enjoy spending time with all animals and animals like to be around me. Currently working on my dog trainer certification I have a flexible schedule since I work from home most of the time. As a dog owner myself I spend a lot of time taking care of my dog. We go on walks 3 times a day, he gets treats, cuddles and play time all day long. On the weekends when the weather is nice we like to go for short hikes. Unfortunately I sustained a bad fall in 2024 and broke my back; so I am unable to care for any pet over 50lbs or any pet that is leash reactive or pulls on a leash. Since that would aggravate the injury and most definetely stop me from caring for pets all together; I hope you can understand! I have a small backyard where we go play fetch, we also love going to Frenchy’s or many of the other parks in the area for walks and off leash play when the weather is nice. Going for walks 2-3 times a day around the neighborhood as well

About: Pets growing up were 3 dogs Lacy, Maya and Frodo as well as many kitties. Oso was my Cat, we had him from the time I was 4-14years old. We also had a chicken coop we were responsible for, horses that were our landlords but that we fed, and a fish tank with guppies and sucker fish. My 1st gig watching someone else’s pet, was for an elderly woman at my church when I was about 12. Milo was an older, golden retriever. I walked him, cleaned his outside restroom area, fed, bathed, and blow-dryed him. Family and friends have always reached out to me for help over the years, I have cared for all pets. Rottweilers, pit bulls, huskies, small dogs, handicap animals, both cats and dogs. I am great with communicating and accustomed to following the routines their owners have set for them as I believe that is most respectful. My schedule is either 8am-1pm or 2-8pm. I have a 1hour lunch and am home otherwise. I usually have 2 days off a week so will also be home on those days. I have stone floors, no carpet, and live in a non-smoking apartment. I have a small backyard with dirt area and kennel where they usually take small potty breaks aside from walks and dog parks!

About: My husband and I have an Australian cattle dog and had a tabby cat who has crossed the rainbow road. I often care for my family members' dog when they are out of town. He requires special care, as he needs to take a few pills every day both day and night. This schedule is second nature to us. We enjoy being around our furry pals and will enjoy caring for yours too! About: Just an FYI we can only sit for dogs that are 30 lbs or smaller, due to HOA rules in our condo complex. I have had and cared for a dog most of my life. When I do work, my husband is usually home, except on Tuesdays. I have a 4 year old also, so I do have to take him and pick him up from preschool. We live in an apartment. We go outside often, and have no problems take dogs out. Our apartment is clean and tidy. I am good at following directions that may be given to care for you pup.

About: Upon having taken care of pets for quite some time now. I have learned that all animals need love and compassion like us. I have cared for a variety of animals from mice to snakes and cats to goats. All of the time learning what to do and not to do with every animal. I work part time remotely and pet care will easily fit into my everyday routine as I set my work hours and as such they are flexible I will provide whatever care is required for your pet’s wellbeing with love and patience. Whether they require special care, or just need a friend to walk around the neighborhood with I am happy to help!
About: I’ve taken care of pets and also have pets of my own who we love so much. Your fur babies will be in good hands! I work but I am willing to align my schedule if you give me 3 days notice in advance, I’m willing to stay in your home so your pets will be more comfortable staying in their own home. I don’t have a fenced yard but I can arrange things to see if your pets will feel comfortable in my home! I do have two dogs.

“Tami went above and beyond when one of our dogs, staying for over a week, was not on her best behavior. Tami coached her and soothed her until she finally calmed down. (It took a few days!!). There is a large yard and Tami is very experienced with all kinds of dogs, and she communicates extremely well. I highly recommend Tami.”
“Admittedly, I was a bit nervous to leave my quirky tripod at anyone’s house. Mylene is my queen but she is anxious, nervous and can be slow to warm up. Michelle and her family were the perfect fit for Mylene. It was so nice to not have to worry about Mylene while on vacation. I could tell that Mylene received a ton of attention on Mylene’s terms, exercise and clear/consistent direction from Michelle. This is why her stay went smoothly and she didn’t destroy anything due to not being stressed and she was able play with 2 other dogs. Michelle was very communicate and timely with responses which made securing this rover stay, drop off and pick up extremely easy. I am so grateful, I chose Michelle to watch my girl for this long stay.”
