I know, I know… most people are either dog people or cat people. I’ve always been both. I grew up with Golden Retrievers, always two of them, one older and one younger. My dad is a hunter and taught us how to train dogs at a very young age. Our dogs were always off-leash and extremely well-trained. When I have dogs of my own, I plan to train them off-leash. My favorite dog growing up - Roxie - was my best friend in middle and high school. She came with me everywhere, from running errands to hanging out with friends. I've always loved dogs and the way that they unconditionally love and accept every part of you. At the same time, I always wanted cats growing up, but my dad refused to get one. Naturally, that only made me want cats more. When I finally had my own place, I planned to adopt one… but, in true cat fashion, one found me first. I have two cats now, a girl and a boy. They give me so much love and joy. They're silly and quirky and one of the best parts of my life. I'm a very responsible pet owner. I feel very in tune with my cat's needs and don't hesitate to take them to the vet if I suspect something is wrong. I also love spending time playing with and cuddling my pets. I work from home, so I have a lot of free time and flexibility in my schedule, enough that I can spend some of that time loving on your pets while you're away from home! I’m comfortable caring for both cats and dogs, either in your home or mine, depending on your pet’s personality and needs. I’m happy working with dogs at different training levels and can help reinforce leash skills, recall, and basic training along the way.
