Easy Going and Grounded Pet Lover
I know, I know… most people are either dog people or cat people. I’ve always been both. I grew up with Golden Retrievers, always two of them, one older and one younger. My dad is a hunter and taught us how to train dogs at a very young age. Our dogs were always off-leash and extremely well-trained. When I have dogs of my own, I plan to train them off-leash. My favorite dog growing up - Roxie - was my best friend in middle and high school. She came with me everywhere, from running errands to hanging out with friends. I've always loved dogs and the way that they love you unconditionally and accept every part of you. But I also always wanted cats. The moment I got my own place, I planned to adopt one… but, in true cat fashion, one found me. I have two cats now, a girl and a boy. They give me so much love and joy. They're silly and quirky and one of the best parts of my life. I'm a very responsible pet owner. I feel very in tune with my cat's needs and don't hesitate to take them to the vet if I suspect something is wrong. I also love spending time playing with and cuddling my pets. I work from home, so I have a lot of free time and flexibility in my schedule, enough that I can spend some of that time loving on your pets while you're away from home! I’m comfortable caring for both cats and dogs, either in your home or mine, depending on your pet’s personality and needs. I’m happy working with dogs at different training levels and can help reinforce leash skills, recall, and basic training along the way.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in downtown Santa Fe. There are some paths within walking distance, but more than likely, I would take your dog to one of the many local hiking trails outside of town. I'm also happy to come to your home and care for your dog or cat in whatever way you need (walks, snuggles, feeding, etc.)

Emma was fantastic! We had never left our beloved 3 legged dog with anyone other than family. Emma watched Toby for 3 weeks in our home. She gave him big love, daily walks, and indulged all his "special" needs. We came home to a happy pup and a spotless house. So grateful for the her kind and capable care!

Schedule
I work from home, and my schedule is very flexible. I'm free to do daily dog walking, home visits in my area, and housesitting. My cats are used to dogs, so if your pups are comfortable around them, I may be able to bring them into my home.
