About: I joined Rover because I recently lost my beloved pet, and while I’m not ready for another of my own just yet, caring for dogs truly brings me genuine joy. Since I work part-time from home, I have a flexible schedule to ensure your pup can keep the same routines. I take care of only one pet at a time to ensure individual attention and make sure they feel safe, happy, and at home while they’re with me. My husband and I have a loving, pet-friendly home in West Seattle with a large fenced yard. We live in a safe, quiet, walkable neighborhood and I am close to Alki beach or Lincoln Park for some outdoor fun! I also made our home senior-dog friendly, with things like pet stairs and a pet stroller to help older pups stay comfy and included in everything I do. I know how important all the little routines and quirks are when it comes to your dog’s care. So feel free to share anything and everything—I want your pup to feel as loved and cared for as they do at home. I work 100% remotely from home with an extremely flexible, part-time work schedule and can cater to your dog’s schedule, needs and wants. I love to go on walks to Lincoln park or Alki beach and even have a pet stroller if your senior dog would prefer to ride rather than walk. I live on a quiet, dead-end street with a fully fenced backyard and I’ll always be outside with them when they’re in the yard. There’s plenty of space both inside and outside my home. I genuinely love being at home—having your dog with me will just make it even better!

About: I've been walking neighborhood dogs since I was ten, and house sitting/pet sitting since high School. I've lived with both cats and dogs, once I lived with a 10 week old black lab puppy. I'm familiar with their needs and routines, and love to play with pets of all sizes! I have a very flexible schedule, so let me know your needs and we'll make something work. I look forward to hearing from you soon! I make sure your pets are getting plenty of love, while strictly following the directions and instructions you leave me. I will always defer to the safest option.

Devon P.
“Auntie Devon is my pets favorite human - other than me - and sometimes I question if I really run a close second! She loves them up with affection and care, tending to their needs and making it clear that they are her top priority. I never worry about them when they are with her and she is my #1 pet-sitter when I go out of town. She truly loves them the way I do and it's obvious they know that too by the enthusiastic way they greet her and snuggle up by her on the couch. I have a dog and a cat and she is equally attentive to both - a true animal lover by nature. My pup has a particularly bad case of separation anxiety, and Devon puts her completely at ease. I highly recommend Devon. She is mature, dependable, trustworthy and an all around wonderful person to hang out with - for humans as well as animals!”

Misha B.
“Misha has cared for our dog (a poodle mix) and our cat many times when we have gone out of town. She reliably keeps our pets fed and watered, takes the dog for his walk, and handles the cat's litter box. Misha also makes a point of spending some time with our pets, sitting with them and giving them love. Our dog, in particular, is excited when it's time for Misha to pay a visit.”
Admiral dog parents share their Rover experiences
Deven came as a somewhat last minute need when we had to leave town quickly for a funeral. He agreed to a pre-meeting and our dog immediately took to him. He walked her with me the first time as she’s a lot to handle and she immediately respected and listened to him. He was extremely thorough and asked all the right questions. Also very personable and kind. It was a huge relief to know our dog was in good hands. We would 100% use him again.

Taylor was wonderful with Goji. She sent the perfect amount of pics, was always on time, and made everything very easy. Goji is fairly big and can be aggressive towards other dogs, but I never worried about him with Taylor and would trust her to watch him anytime.

Madison was fantastic! She has the necessary skill and experience to handle my reactive Jack russell. She also had some great suggestions on ways to alleviate my dog's anxiety. My dogs took to her very quickly and I feel so much better knowing they are taken care of. I won't hesitate to call her again in the future.

Heather has been a god send for me and Mowgli. I moved to Seattle from Texas in a rush as my new job wanted me in the office asap. She has been so helpful in our transition and also educating me on how I can best help my puppy succeed during this stressful event. She goes above and beyond and I will continue to use her going forward!

Jeana is wonderful!! She’s always on time, great communication, and very flexible with our chaotic schedule. She truly cares about our dog, even ensuring his safety when a loose dog approached them during a walk. Thank you Jeana for taking such great care of our fluffy baby 😊

Josh is awesome! He’s got this down-to-earth, hippie vibe, and you can just tell he loves dogs deep in his soul. From the moment he met our pup, he was down on the floor giving her cuddles like they were old friends. Our dog has serious separation anxiety, and Josh totally picked up on that—he used his intuition and gave her exactly what she needed in the moment. She’s gone from lying on the bed all day, sadly accepting snacks like a little ball of depression, to heading out on big, happy walks with Josh. We’re so grateful. Thank you, Josh!
