About: I have had cats since I was 5 and now have 3. I volunteer at a ferret rescue, so I specialize in ferrets and cats! I often cat sit for my neighbors across the street. Note: I don't have much experience with dogs. I am in college but am currently not taking in-person classes. However, that will change in several months. I can come pretty much any time on weekdays but it's limited on weekends. On Saturdays I'm at the ferret rescue, but can come after 1:30. I regularly scoop and change my cats' litter boxes and play with them. If you give me a detailed set of instructions via text or a sheet of paper, I will make sure to complete the tasks with care. Please be open to follow up questions as I do not know the layout of your home.

“Sophie recently signed on as a valued volunteer for our 501c3 ferret rescue "Washington Metro Area Ferret Outreach" She has quickly learned various skills, and has shown to be a dependable volunteer in caring for the 31 ferrets in our home-based shelter. She works with a team of other volunteers to clean and maintain the cages, engages in enrichment with the ferrets, takes a few minutes to also play with the resident cats. We have entrusted a house key and some unsupervised visits from Sophie to come when the shelter operator had out of town business, at which time she was able to go solo and offer supplemental feedings, check on the welfare of over 30 ferrets, and then "rotate" ferrets in and out of play areas. Sophie has show to be a very compassionate, skilled and reliable care taker for the ferrets at the shelter!. I highly recommend her for Rover.”
