“Nicholas has become fast friends with my Akita, and they have wonderful afternoons together in the park! I am particularly pleased that he handles her dog reactive behavior so smoothly, and my 70lb girl is completely safe in his care. About: I have taken care of my family's dogs ever since I started highschool. I have taken care of dogs from puppy stage all the way through senior dogs. I currently work a remote job out of Dupont Circle. This means I have very flexible hours during the workday and post work day. Willing to work my schedule around yours. Given my work flexibility, I am able to stay at parent's homes for dog sitting pretty much any day of the week, 7 days a week. I am also pretty much able to do walks at any hour of any day.

“Stephanie was very communicative and easy to reach. Took great care of Lena, got her plenty of exercise (despite a somewhat stubborn dog), gave her water and treats. Did really well with Lena her first time! Will definitely ask her to watch her again”

“Brianna is a delight! She expertly handles our leash reactive dog with no issues and takes the best photos. She is prompt and reliable and our pup loves her”

“Cooper was so excited to see Gracie for their morning walk! This was the first time she had walked him but he recognized her from our meet and greet. He had fun on their walk with his ball and she sent tons of pictures. Thanks so much!”

About: Hi there! I'm Lilly! I have worked with animals for almost all of my life, including dogs, cats, and even horses and bunnies! In addition, I have had the privilege of volunteering at animal shelters and helping my family foster pets. I am gentle, patient, and responsible with all animals, not afraid of messes, and listen to what pets need, from sleepy seniors to high energy babies. You can be sure I meet your needs, and give your pet lots of love and attention. I work from home most days and have a flexible schedule. I am happy to do drop-ins, dog walking, and overnight stays. I am available T, TH, F all day, M & W evenings, and all weekend. Your home and pet's safety is my top priority. I provide clear communication with daily updates and photos. I take your and your pet's routines very seriously. I work with anxious and less sociable pets. I am happy to administer medication.

About: My love for animals is endless, my dog at home holds my entire heart. I have loved animals for as long as I can remember, I always had a dog at home, and also attended an animal camp throughout my childhood and teenage years. At the camp I was an animal specialist in training and learned animal care for over a hundred different species, from dogs and cats to sugar gliders to alpacas. I recently moved to D.C., but back in the Chicago suburbs my childhood dog, Rory, is turning 17 this year! He is a little dog, with both so much love and so much angst. I was one of those kids who made a power point presentation on why I needed a dog and have been taking care of him ever since. I have also been trusted with watching and taking care of my extended family’s dogs as well as many of my neighbors’ pets since middle school. I truly love spending time with animals, and would love to spend time with yours!! Taking care of your pet is more than a task for me, it’s a commitment. I will give your pet all the love and patience in my heart. I value compassion towards animals and have a lot of experience with different personalities and behaviors. Finally, I am comfortable working with pets of all ages, puppies to seniors! I’m currently a graduate student at American University pursuing a Masters in teaching. Until the school year starts and I start my job as a special education aide, I am around whenever you need me! My current graduate classes are only Tuesday and Thursday nights. I’m happy to provide for your pet in the mornings, afternoons, or evenings! When I am with your pet, I will always treat them with compassion and patience. To me this means that I will spend meaningful and engaging time with your pet, making sure they have a positive and caring experience. During my time with your pet, I will never leave them unattended. I’m there to care for them. While walking dogs, I will prioritize their safety and always keep them leashed. I will also follow any rules or guidelines you set for your pet. All pets are different and I will tailor my care to your pets needs and behaviors. It’s important to me that not only does your pet feel respected, but you do as well. In terms of caring for pets within your home, I promise to respect your space. I will always clean up any accidents that may happen with care and effort, in my dog’s old age he has trouble holding his bladder and I will never respond by being upset. Let me know where the cleaning supplies are if your pet is prone to accidents or is currently potty training and I will take care of the rest! I truly want you and your pet to feel comfortable with me, and I will work hard to build that relationship of trust.

“Becca was beyond wonderful; by far the best communicator and animal lover we've ever hired and that says a lot as we've had as many as 7 pets at a time and often need assistance. Becca sent images of our dog every visit and checked in and out with us via text for every visit. She's simply the best; Very Highly Recommended!!!”

“Chris was fantastic with Freddy and was very communicative during the whole process. From the notes he left after walks you can tell he really loves and cares about animals. Will definitely hire again.”

Lillith S.
“I have a 5-year-old Border Collie mix named Dany who is extremely high energy, super smart, and to put it mildly, is very particular about people. She takes a long time to warm up to someone new and is very vocal about her boundaries. When they first met, I was prepared for the standard slow introduction and defensive barking, but Lilly showed Dany that she respected her boundaries. She paid attention to her cues, gave her space when needed, and let that trust build naturally. Somehow, she earned that trust FAR quicker than I expected. Now, Dany is absolutely OBSESSED with Lilly and has earned that Best Friend status. Every visit is a full-blown party, complete with full-body wiggles, excited howls, joyful prancing, endless games of fetch, and of course, and unlimited belly rubs. She gives Dany the same exact care and attention that I would give her, and treats my dog like family. Lilly has that rare ability to just connect with animals in a genuine and natural way. She is a compassionate, patient, and trustworthy sitter and I'd trust her with Dany any day of the week.”
