About: I have taken care of my family's dogs ever since I started highschool. I have taken care of dogs from puppy stage all the way through senior dogs. I currently work a remote job out of Dupont Circle. This means I have very flexible hours during the workday and post work day. Willing to work my schedule around yours. Given my work flexibility, I am able to stay at parent's homes for dog sitting pretty much any day of the week, 7 days a week. I am also pretty much able to do walks at any hour of any day.

In addition, I have had the privilege of volunteering at animal shelters and helping my family foster pets. I have loved animals for as long as I can remember, I always had a dog at home, and also attended an animal camp throughout my childhood and teenage years. At the camp I was an animal specialist in training and learned animal care for over a hundred different species, from dogs and cats to sugar gliders to alpacas. I recently moved to D.C., but back in the Chicago suburbs my childhood dog, Rory, is turning 17 this year! He is a little dog, with both so much love and so much angst. I have also been trusted with watching and taking care of my extended family’s dogs as well as many of my neighbors’ pets since middle school. “I have a 5-year-old Border Collie mix named Dany who is extremely high energy, super smart, and to put it mildly, is very particular about people. She takes a long time to warm up to someone new and is very vocal about her boundaries. When they first met, I was prepared for the standard slow introduction and defensive barking, but Lilly showed Dany that she respected her boundaries. She paid attention to her cues, gave her space when needed, and let that trust build naturally. Somehow, she earned that trust FAR quicker than I expected. Now, Dany is absolutely OBSESSED with Lilly and has earned that Best Friend status.
