“We feel so grateful and lucky to have met Christina! This was our first time scheduling a pet sitter via Rover and Christina made sure she explained all the steps involved in making this the best experience. Christina visited us once before starting to look after our kitties. This meet n greet visit was so helpful because we could explain the cats' feeding schedule, their behaviour, habits, litter and food locations and also helped her meet the cats before she came for her visits. Christina took notes diligently throughout and she told us how she will send us her notes for each day with photos and videos. The notes were so so helpful for us to know the demeanor of each cat and how they were behaving with a new person in the house. Our cats have never been so comfortable with anybody else and they already befriended Christina in her very first visit! The photos and videos that Christina sent were so amazing, and we felt at ease knowing that our kitties were doing well and were loved! We highly recommend Christina and if you need someone to look after your pets in your absence, look no further! We have 3 cats and we hired Christina for 4 days, and we plan to hire her for many more in the future! :) Thank you so much Christina for your care towards our cats!”

About: I have always had animals in my household. My pet family has included 8 cats, 8 dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, a chinchilla, a rabbit, birds, and fish. I have experience with senior animals as well as pups and kittens. I also have experience caring for sick animals and administering medicine. My cat was a stray that I took home, and I have experience in the TNR community. I am available for drop-in visits from 6 PM-10 PM during weekdays and have full availability during the weekends to give your pet all the attention they need. I will send you photos or videos every day that I am taking care of your animal. I'll treat them as if they were my own.

About: I can provide care in North San Jose (Crescent Village, Rivermark, North Park, River View, Santa Clara Square) with very little notice. I love dogs and cats and have a knack for befriending new animal buddies. I have volunteered at animal shelters and helped out friends in walking, pet sitting, or just chilling with their pets. I work from home most days so that leaves me quite some time in my schedule to take out time for pet care, plus it's something I absolutely love so yaay for me! I usually follow the instructions of the pet parent to the dot to best keep the pets safe. Going with what works for every individual pet helps me keep them safe and fulfilled. Detailed background on the pets always helps. For day care - I care for only one set of pet(s) at a time to avoid potential conflict and be completely present for your pets, and ensure all their needs are met.

About: Since birth I have been surrounded by cats. Thanks to this experience, I know exactly what the cat-child wants. I also adore dogs, and my husband used to have two corgis and will also help your dog-child feel comfortable. I’m currently don’t have a job, so be happy that I can spend all my free time with your lovely pets and they can be happy with me💜 In my apartment there is a separate corner for animals, and I can also walk around the territory of my complex, since there is a large area nearby.

About: I have taken care of my friend's dogs before, but only for short term. I would walk them and feed them. My other experiences working with animals is working at a Horse Riding Camp and taking care of the horses (feeding, washing, riding, making sure they are good to be around children, etc). I also own a cat, Mochi, so I have a lot of experience with cats. I am mostly available to work weekends because I am a college student and I have an internship, but I can work on weekdays after 6 if needed. In my home, we make sure to keep an eye on my cat and there is a room dedicated to my cat. We make sure she doesn't go into unsafe areas. My mom works from home so she is able to keep an eye on my cat.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs my whole life. I grew up with a German shepherd and have been occasionally taking care of my relatives dogs. Currently I have a 3 year old pitbull mix who has a lot of energy so I’m used to having high energy dogs around me as well! I’m currently working part time. Which is why I require a 2 week booking notice. I’m available anytime until school starts in September as long as I am given a timing before two weeks. Or else I’m available for boarding or dog sitting everyday and walks preferably in the evening after 5:30 pm I can basically do everything except grooming. I love taking my dog to the park so I have that option always open. I take them on walks, games, feed them, and that’s about it.

About: I have taken care of family dogs in the past and also got my own dog about 8 years ago. My family with dogs typically relies on me to walk, and feed their pets. I am currently studying to be an Electrical Engineer so I have plenty of time to play with your pups or dogs. I'm available for boarding on most weekends and weekdays. There's a pet park downstairs in the community I live in, but I prefer to walk my dog mornings and evenings and sometimes lunch breaks in the park nearby or take them to the dog park. I enjoy taking my dog to dog parks and hikes regularly. I have taken various trainings to help aid me during puppy hood and enjoy taking my time to understand and enjoy taking care of your dog. Walk or jogging if your dog is more high energy, playing fetch in the backyard! Boarding will include at least 2 twenty minute walks, plus several hours of outdoor play per day, catered to your dog’s energy level :)

“This was our first time using Rover and we were very skeptical at first. However, after reading so many horrific reviews about boarding hotels, we decided to give Rover a shot and booked with Laurelle for the Christmas vacation. She was absolutely fantastic and took care of our dogs very well. One of my dogs needed to take antibiotics due to an infection and she was very accommodating and came in 12 hour intervals to feed the meds. We also asked her to put shoes on my other dog during walks due to his back nails bleeding often against the concrete. She took care of it and wiped his feet with ointment after the walk to disinfect as well. We are very grateful that she often stayed longer than the designated 30mins to finish the list we provided. Needless to say we will be booking with her next time we go on vacation again. She also left us a little present at the end :D”
