About: It is my passion to work with animals. Truly nothing brings me more joy than helping out any animal from small bugs, to pets, to large exotic animals. I worked at a doggy daycare and boarding facility in Illinois and now I am going to school to become a Veterinary Technician here in Baton Rouge! I even worked at the Shedd Aquarium when I lived in Chicago, where I grew up. I also volunteered at various animal shelters back in Illinois and helped with the TNR programs for cats! I am currently in school and have in-person classes on Tuesday's and Thursdays. I have plenty of time to look after your pets on the rest of the weekdays and weekends! I have 2 friendly cats in my home and would love to care for and spend time with your pets in your home! I am very experienced in working with all types of animals- from large high energy puppies- to chill senior cats.

About: I am currently getting my PhD in Animal Science! Aside from study animals for a living, I have 5+ years of commercial care experience with small and large animals. Raised by a dog trainer and breeder for a mom, I grew up with many types of animals, including exotics like geckos and hamsters. I currently have two cats, Willow and Clover. I can’t wait to meet your pets! It is already a part of my daily routine to care for my own pets so I don’t mind a couple more! I work full time but my schedule is super flexible. I am generally available on weekends as well. I offer services like cat sitting, dog sitting, dog walking, horse chores, and can care for exotic pets as well. My own pets health and safety are my top priority, and I always ensure the same for my clients.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure while their owner is away. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and receive lots of attention and affection. I also keep the home clean and tidy, follow any specific care instructions, and provide updates so owners can have peace of mind knowing their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for.

About: My family has had dogs my whole life, I've been taking care of family friends' dogs since I was 12. Recently moved to Louisiana to start grad school at LSU and looking for a pet fix! I have the most flexibility in the mornings and evenings, but am able to move things around to be available in the afternoons as needed. I can only offer dog-walking, house/pet-sitting services in your own home. More than happy to feed, crate, walk, play, and give your furry friends some love.

About: I have had and taken care of pets of all kinds (but especially dogs) since I was very young! I’ve had experience with puppies, young dogs, and older dogs, male and female. Even now I help take care of relative’s dogs and I love it. I feed, watch, walk, and make sure they’re happy! I stay in good shape and walk / workout every day, so I am able to handle larger breeds if needed! I live near LSU lakes which is a great place for walking, I usually go around the lakes when I go for walks, so I am familiar with the area well. It’s a great experience for people and pets! I’m pretty flexible and usually available for any activities! I am going to be taking 2 online classes this summer which requires me to be home, it works out well to watch some sweet pups! I do not have any dogs or cats within my home currently. Any pet works just fine to be inside or outside! The living room, dining room, and kitchen are all fairly large open spaces and connected together.

About: Hi! My name is Mackenzie and I’m looking forward to taking care of your pet(s). I have experience working as a vet assistant in an animal clinic and kennel. I also attend Louisiana State University as a pre-vet student. Alongside my work experience, I have grown up my whole life with dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. About 3 years ago, I adopted a senile dachshund from the shelter. He had many health problems and from working in the clinic and kennel I am very used to administering medicine. I also don’t mind cleaning up any messes your pet makes as I am very used to it. I am no doubt an animal lover and I’m looking forward to gaining more experience while working with your pets and taking care of them! I already have a part time job that I work in the evenings, 2-3x a week, but I am graduating soon and my availability will be very open during the day. I don’t work as much during the week, so after school I am usually pretty open. What days I am available does vary every week, but once again I only work about 2-3 nights during the week. I am definitely a workaholic and I make myself pretty available! After school, I have a pretty set schedule with how I care for my animals. I have a huge fenced in yard that my dogs run around in. I have a little fence blocking off my cats from my dogs so everyone has their own little area and my guinea pigs are kept in their own cages on tables in their own little area. All of my pets are in great health and not to mention they are all rescues!

About: my ability to provide personalized care for each pet, including experience with puppies and supporting senior pets with gentle handling and extra attention, all while maintaining a safe, loving, and stress free environment. i am currently in school & also work but my schedule is very flexible & i am always open to work with you to accommodate with each other! I care for pets by following their routines, providing food, water, exercise, and attention, ensuring a safe and clean environment, and monitoring their health and well-being whether in my home or the client’s home.

About: I’ve been a dog dad for 6+ years and have taken care of pets for neighbors, teachers, and friends for years, from walking and feeding to live-in care. I’m a college instructor on break between semesters so my schedule is flexible with lots of availability for all your pet care needs, whether one time walking or in home stays. I have a friendly corgi named Rufus who loves other dogs and we live in a house near the Garden District with an unfenced yard where I walk him around the neighborhood twice daily.

About: I have had numerous pets since I was little, from ducks to dogs I can do it all! I have been pet sitting friends and family’s animals since I was 14 and even stayed the night/nights if requested. Also, I have 9+ years of customer service experience so I am very well rounded with people and strive to meet their needs! I can’t wait to meet and play with your fur babies! I have a full time job M-F but pet sit in my spare time! I love going for walks and like to run for exercise so your fur babies can get some sun with me! I am available to house sit during weekdays and weekends. I do work 9:30a-6pm M-F. I work from home! Some of my clients are okay with me working from their homes while I am pet sitting. I will make sure I ask that when I am getting to know you! (: ***Attention*** The rates I have posted on my Rover account differ from client to client. If you live more than a 4 mile radius from my home, I do have to increase the price for gas purposes. I always try my very best to accommodate families who are living on a budget. If you have any questions/concerns about this, please feel free to ask them. Also, as for safety, I do like to bring my mom along with me on the initial meet and greets and I’ll make sure I ask before doing so! I can come to your location or stay at your home whether it be 1 day or several! I always like to meet with clients before I stay at their home and meet your pets so that you can see how much I care about you and your pets and so you both can get to know me and be comfortable with the care you receive! Please inform me of all medications and what times they need to be administrated to your pet. Also, if they have any allergies or conditions I should be aware of (: I unfortunately can not offer my own home as a form of pet stay/care.

About: I’ve cared for many of my family members’ dogs and cats over the years, and I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. This experience has helped me become comfortable with pets of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I understand the importance of keeping pets safe, happy, and on their normal routines, and I’ll treat your pets with the same care and attention I would give my own. I currently work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for pets throughout the day, including walks, playtime, feeding, and attention. My yard is not fenced, but I live near a park and several safe walking areas. I provide regular walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention to help pets stay happy, comfortable, and active during their stay.

About: I’ve had a dog in the house since I was 5 years old. I worked at a vet clinic for 2 years as a boarder before I permanently moved to Baton Rouge. I go to LSU and major in animal science. I have medicated and taken care of anxious/aggressive dogs. I am patient, gentle, and I take account that each pet is a family member to each owner. I am currently enrolled at LSU majoring in Animal science. I have wanted to foster or get a pet of my own since moving here but I have not been able to, so I decided to make my side hustle helping others with the things I love to do. I update my colander regularly, but sometimes things come up, just message me! I am easygoing and easy to communicate with. I have a fenced little yard and I enjoy walking around my gated neighborhood, so I will do so with your pet. I follow instructions well, I am aware each pet is different and have their own personality. I’m slow and a quick learner, since I have handled hundreds different dogs for a handful of years. If I am ever confused on an instruction my first instinct is to contact you to make sure and not just “assume”.

I have a whole room in my house dedicated to dogs, but they’re welcome anywhere in the house, I have a fenced in yard and I’m located close to some lakes. I have tons of unique enrichment opportunities for your pups, including things like snuffle mats, puzzles, kongs, and more. My house is puppy proofed, because I often foster and train dogs! Being a multiple dog household I cannot board any dog with same sex aggression, human aggression, or idiopathic aggression, and reactive dogs will be a case by case basis, However, being a trainer I am more than open to help families work through these issues. Please let me know of any medical conditions or allergies! I like to use treats when working with dogs, so I recommend bringing some yummy high value treats so their tummy doesn’t get upset! About: My family and I have always had multiple dogs raised from puppies to full grown dogs that I helped to care for. This includes walking, bathing, feeding, playing fetch, trimming nails and taking them to the vet. I have also taken care of our farm animals daily needs. I work part time and my day to day schedule is very flexible. I am open to same day sitting jobs if needed. I am available to take dog to the vet as well. I have one friendly dog that loves furry company. I can accommodate needs of sitting location, depending on client’s preference. I have toys, crates, treats and dog beds to ensure comfort and needs are met.

About: I have three huskies at home. Taking care of them requires a lot of attention, energy, and patience. (Heavy on the patience LOL) My boyfriend also has a boxer, so I have plenty of experience walking, feeding, and playing with large energetic dogs. I am always looking to walk, house sit, or just have a playdate with your fur baby! I am always willing to anything to provide a great life for our babies. Whether that is a walk, playing, or giving them their favorite treats! I keep safety and care for our babies by simply following the rules! If specific rules or instructions are placed ( ex: certain ways to feed your dog or cat) the. I follow them to a tee. Before letting dogs out I always look to see if there are any wild animals before letting them out. (One of my huskies brought me an opossum. Was not fun🙈) Small actions like these provide safety and protection for our fur babies.

About: I’ve owned 3 dogs throughout my life and they have taught me that I am an absolute lover of all dogs. I’ve had a German Shepherd/Pit Bull mix, a Boxer, and a Shih Tzu. I am comfortable with ALL dog sizes. Last summer I had the privilege of being able to job shadow my dogs vet at her All Pets Animal Hospital which was a very interesting and unique experience. Since starting college, I have started volunteering with an animal shelter to walk and take care of dogs, giving me experiences with young dogs and old, hyper and anxious etc. I am currently an intern at an animal shelter for the summer. I assist the vet techs with tasks such as giving dogs and cats their medicine, give vaccines, prep them for surgery, etc. As of now, I do work a summer job along with my internship but it does allow time for pet sitting. As my job isn’t full time and my internship is only a few days a week. Being able to fill in the extra time taking care of dogs and cats would keep me occupied until I return to school on the fall. I have had a few animals of my own over the years. I treat all dogs as if they were my own because I know I would want the same treatment if I had a pet sitter. They deserve love, respect and comfort. I will respect their boundaries while making sure they get everything they need plus some.

About: I’m an animal lover through and through! Hopefully one day soon, a professional pup groomer☺️ and I would love to spend time with your fur babies!! I would prefer to watch your pup(s) at my house since I do have fur babies of my own, or be able to bring my dog along with me to your house. Only if it’s safe to do so of course! Just for reference, my baby is a male, mini-dachshund. He’s 11 years old and is a timid, loving sweet boy. But if that’s not an option, that’s okay too! I also have two cats who are both loving and do well with dogs! If we’re boarding at my house, I can pickup and drop off for you as well. I work a Monday-Friday job, and am typically off by 4:30! Anytime outside of those hours will be allotted for the care of any fur babies you entrust me with(: I live in a quiet spot not far from LSU! I have a pretty big yard and safe walking areas for long walks. All I’ll need is a collar and leash (:
