About: I am a veterinary student at LSU with a lifelong love of animals and over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for all kinds of species. I offer reliable pet sitting. I’m also comfortable administering medications and supplements as directed. I know how important it is to leave your animals with someone you trust, and I’ll care for each of them as if they were my own! As an LSU veterinary student, my schedule varies slightly throughout the week, but I’m generally available in the early mornings, between classes, in the evenings, and throughout the weekend. I’m happy to provide drop-in visits, dog walks, house sitting, boarding, or daycare whenever my schedule allows. I communicate my availability clearly before booking and make sure I have plenty of time to give each animal the attention, exercise, and care they need. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or theirs, I follow each owner’s instructions closely and maintain the animal’s normal routine as much as possible. I prioritize safety by keeping doors, gates, leashes, and enclosures secure, supervising pets carefully, and keeping their environment clean and comfortable. Because I live in an apartment, boarded dogs are taken outside for supervised leash walks and potty breaks rather than being allowed into an off-leash yard. I’m also comfortable administering medications and supplements as directed, and I provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are safe, happy, and receiving plenty of individual attention.

About: I have had and taken care of pets of all kinds (but especially dogs) since I was very young! I’ve had experience with puppies, young dogs, and older dogs, male and female. Even now I help take care of relative’s dogs and I love it. I feed, watch, walk, and make sure they’re happy! I stay in good shape and walk / workout every day, so I am able to handle larger breeds if needed! I live near LSU lakes which is a great place for walking, I usually go around the lakes when I go for walks, so I am familiar with the area well. It’s a great experience for people and pets! I’m pretty flexible and usually available for any activities! I am going to be taking 2 online classes this summer which requires me to be home, it works out well to watch some sweet pups! I do not have any dogs or cats within my home currently. Any pet works just fine to be inside or outside! The living room, dining room, and kitchen are all fairly large open spaces and connected together.

About: I am a college student paying my way through school! I’ve had all kinds of pets my whole life and being able to take care of animals as much as I can is a joy of mine :) I’m a student so I have classes during the week, but my weekends are open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for drop-ins and walks! My dogs are my babies, they are part of the family, I fly with them, take them on walks every morning, and settling down the night cozied up with my pups is the best part of my day.

About: I’ve had a dog in the house since I was 5 years old. I worked at a vet clinic for 2 years as a boarder before I permanently moved to Baton Rouge. I go to LSU and major in animal science. I have medicated and taken care of anxious/aggressive dogs. I am patient, gentle, and I take account that each pet is a family member to each owner. I am currently enrolled at LSU majoring in Animal science. I have wanted to foster or get a pet of my own since moving here but I have not been able to, so I decided to make my side hustle helping others with the things I love to do. I update my colander regularly, but sometimes things come up, just message me! I am easygoing and easy to communicate with. I have a fenced little yard and I enjoy walking around my gated neighborhood, so I will do so with your pet. I follow instructions well, I am aware each pet is different and have their own personality. I’m slow and a quick learner, since I have handled hundreds different dogs for a handful of years. If I am ever confused on an instruction my first instinct is to contact you to make sure and not just “assume”.

About: I’ve owned 3 dogs throughout my life and they have taught me that I am an absolute lover of all dogs. I’ve had a German Shepherd/Pit Bull mix, a Boxer, and a Shih Tzu. I am comfortable with ALL dog sizes. Last summer I had the privilege of being able to job shadow my dogs vet at her All Pets Animal Hospital which was a very interesting and unique experience. Since starting college, I have started volunteering with an animal shelter to walk and take care of dogs, giving me experiences with young dogs and old, hyper and anxious etc. I am currently an intern at an animal shelter for the summer. I assist the vet techs with tasks such as giving dogs and cats their medicine, give vaccines, prep them for surgery, etc. As of now, I do work a summer job along with my internship but it does allow time for pet sitting. As my job isn’t full time and my internship is only a few days a week. Being able to fill in the extra time taking care of dogs and cats would keep me occupied until I return to school on the fall. I have had a few animals of my own over the years. I treat all dogs as if they were my own because I know I would want the same treatment if I had a pet sitter. They deserve love, respect and comfort. I will respect their boundaries while making sure they get everything they need plus some.

About: I worked as a shift lead at a doggy daycare called Dogtopia for almost 4 years. I have received training on how to deal with different breeds of dogs. I have worked with a variety of breeds, ages, and sizes and have a lot of experience in training behavior. I have also dealt with up to 30 dogs in one day care room during solo shifts. I have owned a dog for 12 years back at my house in Virginia, and currently do not live with him. I am also very organized and reliable. I will always be on time or early to appointments! I currently work full-time from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. I am available to host overnight dogs and can provide walks or drop-in visits before and after my work hours. I also have greater availability on evenings and weekends, allowing me to provide reliable and attentive care for your pets. I am also available most weekends. I am very friendly with new animals and am able to learn their behaviors quickly. I am not harsh when trying to correct their behavior, but will make sure they don’t try to misbehave.

About: I have taken care of all types of dogs. I have worked at an animal shelter and have had 3 dogs of my own. I love to spend time with dogs and train and play with them. I am a student at LSU but I only have classes Tuesdays and Thursdays. I’m available any time any other day, and can also come by in between classes Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am very responsible and will take great care of your pet! I take time to train and play with my pets and pets I care for. About: I’ve worked as a veterinary technician for over 2 years in Baton Rouge and am starting veterinary school at LSU in August. I am not only trained in caring for pets and watching over them, but am able to medicate and fulfill any extra needs they may have. I am currently in veterinary school at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine! My class schedule varies day to day, but I am always available to come 6:00-7:00am and in the evenings 5:00-10:00 pm (possibly earlier then 5 if necessary). Depending on the location, I can most likely fit in a walk or potty break during mid day 12:00-1:00pm. I am not only professionally trained on proper animal welfare and care, but how to medicate pets (including injections) and notice any early signs of illness. I am responsible with the animals I help provide care for everyday at work, and that will not fall short of providing that same care to your fur babies! I will be gentle, caring, and loving to each and every animal that is in my care! I will make sure your pets are fed and walked, and give them extra play time in the yard or activity. I can keep up with training, if you have a puppy, or provide gentle care for an older dog. I am comfortable caring for all ages of dogs and conform to their exact needs. I am also comfortable doing nail trims and giving baths if they needed.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember, but I really gained hands on experience once I started college. I’m an Agricultural Science major on the pre-vet track at Southern University A&M College, so I’m around small animals and livestock almost every day. I also help care for the police and therapy dogs on campus through my internship, which has taught me a lot about behavior, patience, and safe handling. Friends, family, and neighbors have always trusted me with their pets, and I treat every animal with the same care and attention I give the ones I work with at school. About: I’ve pet sat for friends and family for years and have been walking neighbors’ dogs for a few months. I have a large dog myself so I can be relied on to walk and care for large dogs. I currently keep a neighbor’s dog for doggy daycare about 2-3 hours during the day. They LOVE to play with each other and I have plenty of enrichment toys and treats to keep them occupied. I currently keep a dog for doggy daycare from 12:00-2:00 on weekdays, but my schedule is flexible. I am available during weekdays for walks and check ins from 8:00 am-6:00 pm. I am also available for weekday and weekend boarding and house sitting. I have a fenced in backyard and a fairly open floor plan offering a lot of play space. My dog and the dog I keep during the day are both very sweet but can be quite rambunctious at times. They are both well trained and very friendly with people and other dogs. Before moving to Baton Rouge, I used to own my own business cleaning houses and have a lot of experience working in other people’s homes. I understand how difficult it can be letting someone new into your home, especially when you may not be there. I am a great communicator, very trustworthy, and have a flexible schedule. I often send pictures or videos of pets to keep you updated and let you know your fur baby is safe and happy!

About: 📢 bird & exotic pet owners!!! Hey I’m Jess! 👋🏼 I am a full time veterinary 🩺 student with over 10 years of veterinary and pet care related experience. The last 4 years I have worked primarily with exotic animals and all kinds of birds, and I am very comfortable with husbandry, handling, feeding, and medicating. I currently have 3 cats of my own, but I’ve always had a dog in my life up until my chihuahua passed away a couple of years ago. As any dog lover knows, a loss like that is devastating, and it has been hard for me to get another dog. Until then, I have been enjoying spending time with other people’s dogs! I can do dog walking, drop in visits, pet/house sitting (though I am unable to stay overnight), and even specialized care for your exotic animals if need be! Favorite dog: spicy 🌶️ chihuahuas Favorite exotic: Guinea pigs 🐽 Favorite 🦜 bird: cockatiels Full time veterinary student and that usually means I’m in class from 8am-3/4pm with studying all evening. If you have a lazy pet or an inside only creature that wants some company in the evenings, I’m your gal! My ability to provide mid day walks in addition to evening walks or play times are limited to my schedule. I am unable to provide services at my home because I rent. I will of course ensure that your house stays tidy and clean while caring for your pet!
