About: I have over a year of experience in animal daycare and/or kennel settings, and can quickly assess a pet's body language and accomodate for discomfort or unique needs. I have a part time job Monday through Wednesday, but I can make myself available with enough planning ahead, and usually have afternoons and evenings free. I need at least two day's notice for weekends. I follow client's intructions to the letter when caring for pets at their home. When needed (e.g. for brachycephalic dogs) I will ask for a safe harness or collar option to avoid restricted breathing.

About: I enjoy walks and being outdoors as much as any dog. I also enjoy a slower pace and can provide care and companionship to your fur friend who might not be as active. Full-time student at LSU. My schedule allows flexibility to provide services that can meet your pet's needs. I share my affection evenly between all the fur friends and will love to meet yours! I can properly handle rowdy dogs, leash pullers, and much more. I know how to work on basic commands such as sit and down if you are in the training process! I have a flexible class and work schedule. I’m in a prime area for fellow LSU students in need of pet care. As an early bird, I am more than open to waking up early for drop ins or dog walks, and I can always make time in the evening as well. If mid day stops are needed, I can definitely try to work it into my day! I can promise a clean and safe environment your pet will thrive in. I am extremely vigilant when it comes to the safety of both the animal and the home, and I am skilled (from experience) at ensuring the best experience for the pets and belongings as a whole. I have worked with harness trained cats and know the limitations they require! I’ve walked dogs of all leash types and am more than comfortable having fun in backyards and parks!

Alyssa took very good care of Twinkle. Twinkle is an elderly cat who needs special attention to her diet. Alyssa monitored Twinkle’s eating and adjusted her food choices as needed to make sure Twinkle was eating well. Highly recommend Alyssa. Samantha was an excellent cat sitter, and I would absolutely book her again. She was reliable, excellent at communicating, and clearly very attentive to our kittens. While we were away, she checked in with questions when needed, confirmed details, and reassured us that everything was taken care of.
