About: I’ve had the privilege of making animal care my life for the past 30+ years. I’ve worked at 2 zoos, a wildlife preserve and now I pet sit full time. I love meeting new pets and their parents. My main priority is ensuring your animal is comfortable and safe while you’re away. I strive to give peace of mind to any worried pet parents. 😊 My favorite activities with your Furkid include enrichment with toys, fetching, dispensing treats and rubbing backs and bellies. I can medicate, give insulin and prepare special diets. I’m also trained in animal first aid and I excel at following directions. Animal care is all I do. I can do daily walks/visits up to 3 times a day. I’m also available for house sitting and overnights. I have a number of clients in the Baton Rouge area with different pet care needs and I make my own schedule. I stick to their usual daily routine or follow whatever instructions are left. I like to keep a consistent visit/feeding/potty time. I have a lot of patience and will encourage your pet to socialize with me. We can do whatever they like, play with toys, take walks, eat treats, rub backs or just sit together. I also water plants, check mail/paper and keep a general an eye on things.

About: What sets me apart is my patience, attentiveness, and natural caregiving personality. As a future nurse currently studying at Southeastern, I’m very detail-oriented and comfortable following specific routines while paying close attention to any changes in behavior. I’m especially gentle with young pets who are still learning and need consistency. I also have a senior dog of my own, so I understand the extra patience, comfort, and attentiveness older pets need. Whether your pet is energetic or needs a slower pace, I will care for them like they’re my own. Pet care fits easily into my routine. I’m currently enrolled part-time at Southeastern University, which gives me a flexible schedule and availability throughout the week. I’m free everyday after 1pm, Wednesday I have class from 6-7pm but I am free before that time. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I follow all feeding schedules, walk times, and any specific care instructions provided. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection while also monitoring their behavior to ensure they’re feeling well. In a client’s home, I respect the space, keep things clean, and provide updates so owners feel at ease. My goal is always to create a safe, loving environment where pets feel secure and cared for like they’re my own.

About: I’ve owned all types animals ranging from dogs and cats to birds and reptiles. They have all lived long and spoiled lives. I love animals and treat them very well regardless of whether they belong to me or not. I’m a friendly and cheerful personality. I’m very patient with even the most stubborn of fur babies. I set walk or restroom schedules based on the needs of the pets and adhere to all rules given by the owners. I’m a very detailed-oriented person. I’ve been dog sitting and dog walking for friends and ex-coworkers for the last three years. I really enjoy spending time with animals and helping people out. It can be stressful trying to work or go on vacation and constantly worrying about your four-legged family members. You can rest assured that your pet(s) will be in good hands. I work full-time Mon-Fri from 8 am until 4 pm. I’m available for lunchtime potty and play breaks if needed. My nights and weekends are free to give your fur family the attention and care they deserve. I do not offer boarding services as I have a kitten that prefers to be the only four legged creature inside of the house at all times. Just let me know what activities your pets enjoy and I will make sure to keep them engaged during the stay.

About: I've owned pets my entire life. I have personal experience caring for a range of dogs from Mastiffs to chihuahuas. I also own 3 cats. I currently have a flex work schedule the allows me to leave work during the day or early if I need to check on animals! I live in a gated community, with a gated dog park across the street. My balcony is blocked off to prevent cats from jumping off.

About: Happy to spend time with your fur babies! Having two Great Pyrenees of my own, they are a large breed dog that has to have consistent maintenance! I often already doggy sit or help out my friends with their own pets. I’m currently not working just studying for a test to get into a program for a while. I have lots of flexibility and free time currently. At my own home I have two fluff balls who enjoy free roam inside during the day and have a large fenced backyard. They are spoiled down to getting pets when they want it and plentiful of treats! Lots of play time

“At first I was extremely concerned bc this was my first time using Rover, but Gina was AMAZING. I would periodically check in on my camera to see how he was doing and he was having a BLAST. About: I love caring for animals and spending time with them! I currently have 1 cat, 1 heeler and 1 chihuahua terrier! I've cared for many breeds of dogs and cats and love love love to play and love on fur babies! Safety is a priority when it comes to handling pets and with my experience having many animals as well as working at the Valley Animal Center, I understand that closely monitoring them is key in order to make sure all animals are safe. All animals deserve great, kind care and I would love to have the chance to help with that! I currently work at a pediatric autism center mon-fri 7:45am-3:45pm and will have time to care for your baby before and after my shifts! I'm very understanding of certain schedules and will do my best to to accommodate! I offer in-home boarding and drop in visits! I have a spacious and clean 2B2B apartment with 2 friendly dogs and 1 cat! All animals are friendly with new guests (cats or dogs)! I also have multiple baby gates if you would like your pet in its own area or away from my personal pets! We have 2 indoor house cameras and one outside camera that I can monitor at all times!

About: Hey, it’s Katie, I’ve been taking care of animals since I was born! I’ve professionally dog and cat sat since 2018. The first dog I ever boarded was an elderly blind dog named Daisy. She sparked my love for taking care of other’s animals, it meant so much to me to see Daisy happy and excited to see me come home, even if her human had to go out of town! I have two dogs, two cats, and two birds currently! I have experience caring for puppies, elderly dogs, special needs dogs, and giving daily medications. Munchkin, my forty pound American Foxhound, hates the rain, has separation anxiety, and has epilepsy so he’s medicated daily. I am a full time student with mostly online classes. I have a pretty flexible schedule and can work with special requests. I am all about communication and willing to accommodate any needs your pet may have! I have years of experience with different personalities, training, and caring for a variety of animals! I also have a waist leash to be able to walk multiple dogs at the same time, if that is important to your family’s needs!
