About: I’ve had the privilege of making animal care my life for the past 30+ years. I’ve worked at 2 zoos, a wildlife preserve and now I pet sit full time. I love meeting new pets and their parents. My main priority is ensuring your animal is comfortable and safe while you’re away. I strive to give peace of mind to any worried pet parents. 😊 My favorite activities with your Furkid include enrichment with toys, fetching, dispensing treats and rubbing backs and bellies. I can medicate, give insulin and prepare special diets. I’m also trained in animal first aid and I excel at following directions. Animal care is all I do. I can do daily walks/visits up to 3 times a day. I’m also available for house sitting and overnights. I have a number of clients in the Baton Rouge area with different pet care needs and I make my own schedule. I stick to their usual daily routine or follow whatever instructions are left. I like to keep a consistent visit/feeding/potty time. I have a lot of patience and will encourage your pet to socialize with me. We can do whatever they like, play with toys, take walks, eat treats, rub backs or just sit together. I also water plants, check mail/paper and keep a general an eye on things.

About: I've owned pets my entire life. I have personal experience caring for a range of dogs from Mastiffs to chihuahuas. I also own 3 cats. I currently have a flex work schedule the allows me to leave work during the day or early if I need to check on animals! I live in a gated community, with a gated dog park across the street. My balcony is blocked off to prevent cats from jumping off.

About: I’m an LSU graduate living in Baton Rouge. I volunteered at an animal shelter in New Jersey for 6 years, and for 5 months at CAA in Baton Rouge. I have the animal’s and your best interest involved. I have patience with dogs that need it, but can reinforce behaviors that you’ve already implemented. Because of my full time job, my schedule may vary week to week. Walks, playing, and some grooming are all apart of the service. Large dogs don’t intimidate me since I have a Great Dane Pit mix back home. At the end of the day, my goal is to make the owner and the pet happy with the services provided to and for them every week. I currently travel for work, but am based out of Baron Rouge. I’m available sporadically, but I’m usually available for 1-2 weeks at a time. I currently have 2 cats, no dogs, but grew up with them. About: I’ve had a dog in the house since I was 5 years old. I worked at a vet clinic for 2 years as a boarder before I permanently moved to Baton Rouge. I go to LSU and major in animal science. I have medicated and taken care of anxious/aggressive dogs. I am patient, gentle, and I take account that each pet is a family member to each owner. I am currently enrolled at LSU majoring in Animal science. I have wanted to foster or get a pet of my own since moving here but I have not been able to, so I decided to make my side hustle helping others with the things I love to do. I am available on weekdays and most weekends. Just message me ahead of time for weekends! I am easygoing and easy to communicate with. I have a fenced little yard and I enjoy walking around my gated neighborhood, so I will do so with your pet. I follow instructions well, I am aware each pet is different and have their own personality. I’m slow and a quick learner, since I have handled hundreds different dogs for a handful of years. If I am ever confused on an instruction my first instinct is to contact you to make sure and not just “assume”.

About: What sets me apart is my patience, attentiveness, and natural caregiving personality. As a future nurse currently studying at Southeastern, I’m very detail-oriented and comfortable following specific routines while paying close attention to any changes in behavior. I’m especially gentle with young pets who are still learning and need consistency. I also have a senior dog of my own, so I understand the extra patience, comfort, and attentiveness older pets need. Whether your pet is energetic or needs a slower pace, I will care for them like they’re my own. Pet care fits easily into my routine. I’m currently enrolled part-time at Southeastern University, which gives me a flexible schedule and availability throughout the week. I’m free everyday after 1pm, Wednesday I have class from 6-7pm but I am free before that time. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I follow all feeding schedules, walk times, and any specific care instructions provided. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection while also monitoring their behavior to ensure they’re feeling well. In a client’s home, I respect the space, keep things clean, and provide updates so owners feel at ease. My goal is always to create a safe, loving environment where pets feel secure and cared for like they’re my own.

About: I’ve taken care of small and large animals my whole life. I enjoy helping animals get their exercise and going on walks. I’m able to care for both small and large dogs as well as cats. I have a very flexible schedule around my summer and school schedule as I am available during the day and nights to check on and care for your animals. I have all the accommodations for a your animals, a large backyard and big enough car to travel in as well. And access to dog parks as well.
