About: It is my passion to work with animals. Truly nothing brings me more joy than helping out any animal from small bugs, to pets, to large exotic animals. I worked at a doggy daycare and boarding facility in Illinois and now I am going to school to become a Veterinary Technician here in Baton Rouge! I even worked at the Shedd Aquarium when I lived in Chicago, where I grew up. I also volunteered at various animal shelters back in Illinois and helped with the TNR programs for cats! About: I have cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds since I can remember. I grew up with at least 3-4 dogs in my household at all times, volunteered at the local animal shelter to help take care of the overflow of dogs, fostered a litter of puppies, and of course the occasional dog sitting for a neighbor or family friend. I am currently working 2 part time jobs at the moment, but they usually include short days and hours. I am mostly available from mid afternoon to nighttime on any given day, especially weekends! About: My pack of dogs range from about 30 pounds to over 150, and several of them are high-energy breeds who need serious daily exercise. Whether your dog is a couch potato, a big gentle giant, or a ball of nonstop energy, I know how to keep them happy, tired, and well cared for. Living with dogs of every size and energy level has taught me how to read body language, manage different personalities, and meet each dog's individual needs. I'm comfortable handling large and giant breeds, and I know that a dog who doesn't get enough exercise can turn into a very create (and destructive) dog. Active pups get the long walks (or runs), play sessions, and mental stimulation they need, and I plan outings around Louisiana's heat, with early mornings and evenings in the summer, so everyone stays safe and comfortable. Amazing sitter. Communicative, attentive, punctual and a real live Snow White. I had one of my cats pass away the day before she was to start her visits and it was breaking my heart to have to go in and remove him from the booking, she took charge and just did it for me. She just intuitively knew and I’m so thankful for that. I will absolutely use her anytime I have to go out of town again. I didn’t worry for a moment while I was gone.
