About: In the past 30+ years I’ve made animal care my life. I’ve worked at 2 zoos, a wildlife preserve and now I pet sit full time. It’s all I do. I love meeting new pets and their parents. My main priority is ensuring your animal is comfortable and safe while you’re away. It’s also very important that I can give peace of mind to any worried pet parents. Once I earn your pets trust, I usually gain a friend for life. That’s why I do this. 😊 I don’t just sit with your furkid. I like enrichment with toys, fetching, dispensing treats and rubbing backs and bellies. I can medicate, give insulin and prepare special diets. I’m also trained in animal first aid and can follow directions. Animal care is all I do. I have no kids. I can do daily walks up to 3 times a day. I have a variety of clients in the Baton Rouge area with different pet care needs. I make my own schedule. I stick to their usual daily routine or follow whatever instructions are left. I like to keep a consistent visit/feeding/potty time. I have a lot of patience and will encourage your pet to socialize with me. We can do whatever they like, play with toys, take walks, eat treats, rub backs or just sit together. I also water plants, check mail/paper and keep a general an eye on things.

About: Previously I’ve had 2 years of professional dog handling experience from working at dog daycare and boarding facilities. Every day, I would spend hours playing with pups of all different ages, breeds, and sizes. I worked hard to make sure they were fed (and medicated if needed), hand feeding them and sitting down with them if they were too anxious to eat in a new environment. I cared for at least 30 dogs a day, sometimes up to 60. All of them hold a special place in my heart, and I still remember over 200 names. There, I was taught the proper ways to handle and walk dogs. I was also trained on CPR in case of emergencies. Every dog I met had a different personality, so I had to learn from experience how to handle each and every one of them differently. Admittedly, I have less experience when it comes to cat care, though I did own three cats and raised two litters of them with the help of my grandparents a few years ago. Nevertheless would be an honor for me to take care of your pet, cat or dog, it’s something that I greatly enjoy doing. No matter how big, small, rough, excited, or grumpy your pet is, I would love to care for them. No accommodation is too difficult for me. I’m currently in school at LSU with morning classes, so my schedule is more suited to afternoons and evenings on weekdays. I’m completely free all day on weekends. My services are restricted to walking and home visits for the time being as I live in on-campus accommodations. I feel comfortable caring for pets who do not have a fenced in backyard.

About: I have three cats and a recent rescue dog. I have experience socializing dogs and cats including recent rescues/terrified animals. I have sat for animals of all ages and administered medications effectively to both dogs and cats. In addition to dogs and cats I can also take care of reptiles, arthropods, and small mammals. My parents have a 14-year-old dog that requires daily medication, eye drops, and mobility aide and I frequently care for him so you can rest assured that I can care for seniors! I also have experience with heartworm positive pups that are in treatment, as my girl just went through it herself. I have one class every morning but after that I just have to write for work so I can work from anywhere. Weekends I am completely free unless otherwise noted. The cats are fed twice a day (1/2 can of wet food per meal) and the litter boxes are thoroughly scooped every day. Enrichment through play, leash walks, and playing with each other depending on the cat's preferences. The dog is a pit/lab mix and is fed twice a day (1 cup per meal) and is walked at least 4 times per day or whenever she needs to go out. Enrichment is provided through lick mats, puzzle toys, and regular toys. We work on training as often as possible.

About: I am super loving and affectionate towards animals. Your pet will be in great hands with me. Whatever your pet's needs are, I can surely promise to take the best care of them, getting fed, walked, bathed, take medication if needed, or extra loves and cuddles while your away, I am able to provide. I have an 11 year old daughter who also loves animals and is in school full time. I am currently a stay at home mom so my scheduale is very flexible and I'm looking to earn extra money to help provide for my daughter. No matter if your pet is big or small, I can assure you that they will have a good time with me and be well taken care of:) I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I am a stay at home mother and I am lucky to have alot of help with taking care of my daughter, so any time of the week, Monday-Sunday, I am available. Depending on what environment your pet lives in, I can assure you that I follow any rules that are given to me by my client, whether its for walks on a leash, being in a crate or being off leash in a fenced in back yard. I also send lots of pictures and updates to keep you informed on how the days going with your pet, what we did for fun, feeding and bathroom breaks, any input that is given, I will make sure to follow up on.

About: I’ve had friends and neighbors rely on me to take care of their dogs when gone. I’m good with walking them and taking them out to the park. I love to play with them and make sure they are loved when their owner is out of town. I can’t have my own dog in Baton Rouge and looking to help others when in a crunch. I work Monday-Thursday on the road most weeks but not all weeks. I am free every weekend to take care of your dogs. On weekends I just hang out in my apartment by myself most the time. I live in an apartment but we do have a dog park. And I am willing to travel to take care of your dog also. I can also load the dog up and take him/her to the park. The dog can stay overnight on weekends and I even have a few dog toys and bones at my place for dogs.

About: I’m comfortable helping out with your Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs… possibly other animals, just shoot me a message! My family, friends and neighbors have trusted me for all of their pet care needs and hopefully you will too! My hours are flexible at the moment. I’m available for pop in visits for feeding, walks and/or outdoor play time too. I’m super patient and don’t mind spending a little extra time with the needier fur babies. My cats are beyond spoiled, so don’t feel bad about what you may think are silly special requests. I completely understand. I’ll treat your fur babies like they were my own.

I'm an outdoors person and love parks so your furbabies will love it too!! I'm a very energetic person and passionate about dogs. Growing up I've always cared for animals and wanted to be a veterinarian but then decided to become a teacher. I'm very energetic and your dogs will never get bored with me.
