About: I’ve pet sat for friends and family for years and have been walking neighbors’ dogs for a few months. I have a large dog myself so I can be relied on to walk and care for large dogs. I currently keep a neighbor’s dog for doggy daycare about 2-3 hours during the day. They LOVE to play with each other and I have plenty of enrichment toys and treats to keep them occupied. I currently keep a dog for doggy daycare from 12:00-2:00 on weekdays, but my schedule is flexible. I am available during weekdays for walks and check ins from 8:00 am-6:00 pm. I am also available for weekday and weekend boarding and house sitting. I have a fenced in backyard and a fairly open floor plan offering a lot of play space. My dog and the dog I keep during the day are both very sweet but can be quite rambunctious at times. They are both well trained and very friendly with people and other dogs. Before moving to Baton Rouge, I used to own my own business cleaning houses and have a lot of experience working in other people’s homes. I understand how difficult it can be letting someone new into your home, especially when you may not be there. I am a great communicator, very trustworthy, and have a flexible schedule. I often send pictures or videos of pets to keep you updated and let you know your fur baby is safe and happy!

About: I have a long history of pet sitting for family and friends. I love giving pets and attention to my furry friends. I have two cats, but have a very soft spot for pups, too. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I’m available for walks during the day/ evening and for house sitting or check ins. I will treat your baby like they’re my own! I know they get sad when you’re away, so I am available for extra love and keeping things as normal as possible.

About: Have resided with small dogs such as yorkies up to large dogs such as cane corsos. Have also worked with K9s during my time spent working in airport cargo Im currently unemployed so my schedule is very flexible when it comes to my daily/weekly routine. Pet care is my #1 source of employment. I have a full sized car available for outings. I clean up well behind myself & respect other peoples space & boundaries. I follow any rules & regulations put in place for the good of the pet & integrity of myself

I’m Lillian, and I’ve spent years caring for dogs of all kinds (more frequently larger dogs) mostly for friends and family but now I’m excited to expand my horizons and offer my help to fellow pet parents in the community! Growing up, I helped care for a physically challenged dog, which taught me patience, attention to detail, and how to adapt to any pup’s needs. I’m comfortable with all personalities, energy levels, and special requirements. Whether it’s walks, cuddles, or specific routines, I’m happy to follow any instructions you provide to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I truly treat every animal like they’re part of the family. Can’t wait to meet your furry best friend! It depends what the owner wants for their animal/home I’m happy to be however flexible they want me to be. Some families prefer pet sitters to stay at their homes overnight and spend most of their day caring for the pet while other families prefer sitters to drop in every 4 hours or so to feed, provide water, entertain, and walk the animal. I’m ok doing which ever but my schedule might differ depending on the week but communication is all that matters! I cannot offer boarding since I will be moving into a non pet friendly apartment soon but for overnight/day pet sitting I will just follow your directions and rules!

About: I’ve had a dog in the house since I was 5 years old. I worked at a vet clinic for 2 years as a boarder before I permanently moved to Baton Rouge. I go to LSU and major in animal science. I have medicated and taken care of anxious/aggressive dogs. I am patient, gentle, and I take account that each pet is a family member to each owner. I am currently enrolled at LSU majoring in Animal science. I have wanted to foster or get a pet of my own since moving here but I have not been able to, so I decided to make my side hustle helping others with the things I love to do. I update my colander regularly, but sometimes things come up, just message me! I am easygoing and easy to communicate with. I have a fenced little yard and I enjoy walking around my gated neighborhood, so I will do so with your pet. I follow instructions well, I am aware each pet is different and have their own personality. I’m slow and a quick learner, since I have handled hundreds different dogs for a handful of years. If I am ever confused on an instruction my first instinct is to contact you to make sure and not just “assume”.

About: It is my passion to work with animals. Truly nothing brings me more joy than helping out any animal from small bugs, to pets, to large exotic animals. I worked at a doggy daycare and boarding facility in Illinois and now I am going to school to become a Veterinary Technician here in Baton Rouge! I even worked at the Shedd Aquarium when I lived in Chicago, where I grew up. I also volunteered at various animal shelters back in Illinois and helped with the TNR programs for cats! I am currently in school and have in-person classes on Tuesday's and Thursdays. I have plenty of time to look after your pets on the rest of the weekdays and weekends! I have 2 friendly cats in my home and would love to care for and spend time with your pets in your home! I am very experienced in working with all types of animals- from large high energy puppies- to chill senior cats.

About: I have owned and lived with dogs and cats my whole life. I have 3 fur babies who are spoiled and well-loved, Mylo the Siberian Husky (2 years old), Lily the sweet mix breed rescue (6 years old), and Baxter the Dachshund Beagle rescue (7 years old) and 1 fur nephew, Rufus the Corgi (3 years old) who frequently stays with his cousins and auntie to play. We love the dog park, long walks (Mylo especially), and couch snuggles/naps. They enjoy chasing each other in the backyard and to birdwatch/neighborhood watch from the living room windows. I have experience with many breeds and all ages. Having two rescues myself I am also comfortable with rescue dogs who may need more time to warm up and trust you. I also love cats and have always had one-I just don’t currently have one. Fur babies aren’t just pets-they are family. I work from home with a very flexible schedule. I am available for walks, drop ins, and boarding any day of the week or weekend. I can come to you! I have a fenced yard and 3 fur babies who are dog friendly and love to play! I am happy to use crates if that is preferred. While I don’t mind your dog staying here with us, I am also able to come to your dog in your home if that is more comfortable.

About: Hi! I can’t wait to be introduced to your furry friends. After many years of looking after my family and friends’ pets, I’m well prepared for various types of pet personalities. I began pet sitting on Rover in 2021, but took a break after moving and life events. I’m thrilled to get started again! I have two pets of my own: a cat named Kitty and a mini dachshund named Benji. I take pride in my love for animals and I’m excited to begin working with you to provide your furry friends a safe and loving human to look after them😊 I’m currently working remotely as an Actuarial Analyst. I can provide thorough care throughout the day at my home, or visit/drop-in to your home before work, after work, or on my lunch break. I also would be able to work from your home if that works best for you! :) I’m able to adapt to any routine requested. At my home, I have a fenced in yard that my dog, Benji, loves to sunbathe in throughout the day! I do have a friendly cat, but he’s very shy and will stay in one of his numerous hiding spots or his gated, out-of-reach area when strangers come over. At your home, I will be very respectful of your area and remain focused on your furry friends’ needs.

About: I have owned dogs my whole life! Nothing gives me more joy than loving on our furry friends! They truly are man’s best friend and especially mine! My husband works from home and I am fully devoted to caring for our pups and yours! We are true dog lovers and will spend our days loving on your fur babies as if they were (and along with) our own! We have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur babies company. However, we can crate your pups or ours if needed as well. Our dogs love to play but if yours don’t, we can accommodate to keep them safe.

About: I am an animal obsessed graduate looking to fill my free time taking care of pets while I am on the hunt for a job. I’ve had my fair share of caring for dogs of all sizes and cats too! My pets are my family, and I will treat yours with the same respect. I know you want your pets left in the best care while you are away, so I am able to come do a meet and greet if preferred! Fun fact: I just went through a training program on how to better understand dog body language when they interact with other dogs and how to handle emergency situations when they arise! I am currently working part time and taking a couple courses for my Master's degree, so I have plenty of time (and energy) to care for your lovely pet. When I house sit, I will have to leave for a few hours a day for either class or work, but will spend ample time with your four-legged friend! In your home, full respect will be given to both your pets and your home. Walks and drop ins will not be spent browsing my phone, your four-legged friend has my full attention! Drop in visits can be tailored to the needs of your pet, and walks can be as active as your pup likes (I like to get those steps in). If your pup has decent leash manners and would like to take a run, I can provide that as well.

About: I’m a vet tech student with a deep passion for animals. I am willing to accommodate a vast variety of pets in all breeds and sizes! I’m currently available part time because of school. I guarantee your pet will love being in my company as much as I will love being in theirs. Im a full time student so I have classes in the morning Monday-Thursday other than that your baby is most like to be hanging out with me watching tv or riding around the city. My yard has a fenced backyard for day time play and they will sleep in a pet crate at night. Playtime is supervised to make sure all the babies play nice!
