About: I’ve been caring for animals from a very young age, growing up on a farm where tending to a wide variety of animals was part of my everyday life. That experience gave me a strong understanding of animal behavior, responsibility, and the importance of consistent, attentive care. Over the years, I’ve become comfortable working with dogs of all ages and needs—from energetic puppies who require patience and structure, to senior dogs who benefit from a gentler, more attentive approach. I also have experience caring for dogs with medical needs and am confident in following detailed care instructions, including administering medications when needed. I am currently working full-time less than 5 minutes from home. I feed my dogs and let them out around 7:00 am before work. My husband is home with our dogs until 2:00 pm before he leaves for work. I arrive home around 5:00 pm and I spend most of my evening in the backyard if possible. I have a fenced in yard and a basket full of toys. About: As someone who has worked with a variety of domesticated felines, I’ve learned that the last thing a cat wants is a sitter. Lol. Most just want someone who can scoop their box and open their can of food. I’m a professional in that area. I’m also good at reading kitty behavioral cues. I can usually tell if a feline is going to be my friend or not. I know when to give them their space. I’ve watched kitties who are social and some that are shy. I’m pretty good with a laser and always enjoy playing with or sitting with a sweet cat or cats. I can also prepare special diets and give insulin shots. The Kitties always train me well!

About: Animals have always been the biggest aspect of my life! I’ve had a multitude of different types between the normal dog and cats to bigger animals like horses, cows, etc. I have so much love for them and I love to promote safe care in a world where it is hard to trust. I am my friends/coworkers/family go to for any pet care as well. I wake up about an hour before I leave and take care of my animals in the morning by feeding and letting them out for a while so they can run. I go to work and come home at around 12/1pm to let them out. I do kennel my dogs for their own safety and my peace of mind. I give her plenty of time outside of it when I am home. My partner gets home around 3 so he will let them out and run with them before I get home around 4:30. Once I make it home, I will cook dinner and play outside with them for bonding. I make sure to abide by the clients preferences. Their animals are under my care and I will do my best to insure a comfortable and safe environment. I treat them as my own in the way of love but will always be respectful of the boundaries.

About: I’ve pet sat for friends and family for years and have been walking neighbors’ dogs for a few months. I have a large dog myself so I can be relied on to walk and care for large dogs. I currently keep a neighbor’s dog for doggy daycare about 2-3 hours during the day. They LOVE to play with each other and I have plenty of enrichment toys and treats to keep them occupied. I currently keep a dog for doggy daycare from 12:00-2:00 on weekdays, but my schedule is flexible. I am available during weekdays for walks and check ins from 8:00 am-6:00 pm. I am also available for weekday and weekend boarding and house sitting. I have a fenced in backyard and a fairly open floor plan offering a lot of play space. My dog and the dog I keep during the day are both very sweet but can be quite rambunctious at times. They are both well trained and very friendly with people and other dogs. Before moving to Baton Rouge, I used to own my own business cleaning houses and have a lot of experience working in other people’s homes. I understand how difficult it can be letting someone new into your home, especially when you may not be there. I am a great communicator, very trustworthy, and have a flexible schedule. About: I am an animal obsessed graduate looking to fill my free time taking care of pets while I am on the hunt for a job. I’ve had my fair share of caring for dogs of all sizes and cats too! Fun fact: I just went through a training program on how to better understand dog body language when they interact with other dogs and how to handle emergency situations when they arise! In your home, full respect will be given to both your pets and your home. Walks and drop ins will not be spent browsing my phone, your four-legged friend has my full attention! Drop in visits can be tailored to the needs of your pet, and walks can be as active as your pup likes (I like to get those steps in). If your pup has decent leash manners and would like to take a run, I can provide that as well.

About: I have owned dogs my whole life! Nothing gives me more joy than loving on our furry friends! They truly are man’s best friend and especially mine! My husband works from home and I am fully devoted to caring for our pups and yours! We are true dog lovers and will spend our days loving on your fur babies as if they were (and along with) our own! We have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur babies company. However, we can crate your pups or ours if needed as well. Our dogs love to play but if yours don’t, we can accommodate to keep them safe.

I’m Lillian, and I’ve spent years caring for dogs of all kinds (more frequently larger dogs) mostly for friends and family but now I’m excited to expand my horizons and offer my help to fellow pet parents in the community! Growing up, I helped care for a physically challenged dog, which taught me patience, attention to detail, and how to adapt to any pup’s needs. It depends what the owner wants for their animal/home I’m happy to be however flexible they want me to be. Some families prefer pet sitters to stay at their homes overnight and spend most of their day caring for the pet while other families prefer sitters to drop in every 4 hours or so to feed, provide water, entertain, and walk the animal. I’m ok doing which ever but my schedule might differ depending on the week but communication is all that matters! I cannot offer boarding since I will be moving into a non pet friendly apartment soon but for overnight/day pet sitting I will just follow your directions and rules!
About: I work from my house that I own so I’m home all day with the animals! I supply my own treats and toys! Two furrbabies Work from home so I have full time pet care capabilities. About: My name is Remy and I am currently wrapping up my second year at the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. I am set to graduate with my DVM in 2028. Before entering into vet school, I graduated with my bachelors degree in animal science (2023) and went on to get my Masters in Public Health (2024) with aspirations to work as a dual degree DVM/MPH professional. I have worked as a veterinary technician for about 3.5 years and I have experience with administering extensive care and medication to animals of all ages. About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every breed my entire life. I’ve always consecutively (2 over 16 years) owned Huskies. They match my energy and personality. “Lauren kept our Pom Meryl for overnight boarding. First time for her to be away from us; second time to stay with Lauren. Meryl walked in like she owned the place! Lauren’s home is nice and inviting with a big back yard. Meryl was the only dog there this time. Lauren and her dtr were very attentive and caring with Meryl. Lauren sent me pictures and updates on how well Meryl was adjusting being away this long, which relieved me as well. We booked 3 nights for Mardi Gras holiday and feel like our baby will be in good hands.”
“Savannah and Kadyn took awesome care of our dog, Rosie. They sent us multiple pictures and videos to keep us updated on how Rosie was doing and you could just see how much love and attention she was getting during her stay with them. Not only that, but they were so incredibly accommodating to us when the snow storm hit and our travel plans were disrupted. They even offered to have our dog stay the night before when we thought we may have had to leave earlier than expected. For pickup, they accommodated us once again, so we could pick up our dog late and then they were available when our time changed. They communicated with us so well the whole time and we are happy to have found a great dog sitter in Lafayette! We will definitely be using them again!”

About: They say that pets/animals know a good person when they see and smell them. There's not a pet home that I walk into and am not greeted with excitement after giving rubs and cuddles. I am currently transitioning to be a stay at home mom, but I would like to continue to help others in need. My days are flexible at this time. Between 8:00m-3:00pm and 4:00pm to 6:00pm on weekdays, I can move outside of the home freely. Times outside of the listed times, I need to be within my home. I havr a 9 year old daughter who is great with animals, and she will not be left with any unsupervised. I have a fenced in back patio and a semi-fenced in back yard. Animals are not allowed to be alone and off the leash if in the backyard exploring. They are free to roam around the patio and home if applicable.
About: I have had and taken care of pets of all kinds (but especially dogs) since I was very young! I’ve had experience with puppies, young dogs, and older dogs, male and female. Even now I help take care of relative’s dogs and I love it. I feed, watch, walk, and make sure they’re happy! I stay in good shape and walk / workout every day, so I am able to handle larger breeds if needed! I live near LSU lakes which is a great place for walking, I usually go around the lakes when I go for walks, so I am familiar with the area well. It’s a great experience for people and pets! I’m pretty flexible and usually available for any activities! I am going to be taking 2 online classes this summer which requires me to be home, it works out well to watch some sweet pups! I do not have any dogs or cats within my home currently. Any pet works just fine to be inside or outside! The living room, dining room, and kitchen are all fairly large open spaces and connected together.
