About: I’ve pet sat for friends and family for years and have been walking neighbors’ dogs for a few months. I have a large dog myself so I can be relied on to walk and care for large dogs. I currently keep a neighbor’s dog for doggy daycare about 2-3 hours during the day. They LOVE to play with each other and I have plenty of enrichment toys and treats to keep them occupied. I currently keep a dog for doggy daycare from 12:00-2:00 on weekdays, but my schedule is flexible. I am available during weekdays for walks and check ins from 8:00 am-6:00 pm. I am also available for weekday and weekend boarding and house sitting. I have a fenced in backyard and a fairly open floor plan offering a lot of play space. My dog and the dog I keep during the day are both very sweet but can be quite rambunctious at times. They are both well trained and very friendly with people and other dogs. Before moving to Baton Rouge, I used to own my own business cleaning houses and have a lot of experience working in other people’s homes. I understand how difficult it can be letting someone new into your home, especially when you may not be there. I am a great communicator, very trustworthy, and have a flexible schedule. I often send pictures or videos of pets to keep you updated and let you know your fur baby is safe and happy!

About: Before Rover 👵🏻 I would get recruited as a kid to watch my relatives’ pets while they were away. In college, I would house and pet sit for my boss and coworkers. I have two cats, but have a very soft spot for pups, too. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I’m available for walks during the day/ evening and for house sitting or check ins. I will treat your baby like they’re my own! I know they get sad when you’re away, so I am available for extra love and keeping things as normal as possible.

About: I live with my girlfriend and her 2 dogs and her cat. We have been working as a team for 7 years caring for pets and we both love it and form strong relationships with the pets we care for (and you of course :) I also have a cat named Jet. She found the cat outside a home she was house sitting for and it was starving. So, she brought it home and I got attached to it :) So now he's mine. I had a golden retriever for 13 years before she passed away from bone cancer. I worked at Blue Bayou when I was 14 to buy her, but from now on I'll only foster and adopt as a personal preference. I love animals, and since I work with my gf as a team your pet will have twice the care with 7 years of experience of us both being full time pet sitters behind it. I also take pretty good pictures and sometimes edit them free at no charge and put them on our instagram (see my pictures in my profile!). You can also breathe easy knowing if something happens to me or an emergency, my partner can assist to make sure your pet is cared for (you'll meet us both at the meet and greet :) Dog owners can rest assured that their dogs are happy, getting attention, and safe under my care. We have cared for all types of pets at many different stages of their lives: Senior dogs on medication, hyper puppies, dogs with disabilities, birds, cats, hedgehogs, lizards, guinea pigs, ducks, chickens, and rabbits. My schedule is open and I'm eager to meet you and your pet! :) Since my gf and I work as a team, we will usually be available 24/7. Rarely are we both house sitting, but my availability in Rover will reflect that. At our home we require dogs to have rabies, bordetella, and lepta vaccinations up to date. They are allowed on the furniture and they can sleep with us :) We have extra bowls, extra blankets, and beds. We feed dogs separately, and we have gates that separate our stairs and kitchen. We also have a dog door that leads to the secure fenced patio where they can potty anytime or be walked or let out. At a client's home I am usually there fulltime with the exception of errands or getting food. I like taking notes and following your pet's schedule just like you were there yourself :)

About: I love dogs, and have been around them since I was a baby. I’ve taken care of puppies, old dogs, big dogs, and all other kinds. Corgis are the greatest dog in the world, prove me wrong with yours. Currently in school at LSU graduating in December, and I am free to tend to your dog any time of day for you. I only have 1 class to schedule around so no issues there! Have a nice big yard completely fenced in, in a nice quiet neighborhood in the middle of BR. Welcome to kennel or let your dog roam free as needed.

About: I have owned and lived with dogs and cats my whole life. I have 3 fur babies who are spoiled and well-loved, Mylo the Siberian Husky (2 years old), Lily the sweet mix breed rescue (6 years old), and Baxter the Dachshund Beagle rescue (7 years old) and 1 fur nephew, Rufus the Corgi (3 years old) who frequently stays with his cousins and auntie to play. We love the dog park, long walks (Mylo especially), and couch snuggles/naps. They enjoy chasing each other in the backyard and to birdwatch/neighborhood watch from the living room windows. I have experience with many breeds and all ages. Having two rescues myself I am also comfortable with rescue dogs who may need more time to warm up and trust you. I also love cats and have always had one-I just don’t currently have one. Fur babies aren’t just pets-they are family. I work from home with a very flexible schedule. I am available for walks, drop ins, and boarding any day of the week or weekend. I can come to you! I have a fenced yard and 3 fur babies who are dog friendly and love to play! I am happy to use crates if that is preferred. While I don’t mind your dog staying here with us, I am also able to come to your dog in your home if that is more comfortable.

About: I am currently getting my PhD in Animal Science! Aside from study animals for a living, I have 5+ years of commercial care experience with small and large animals. Raised by a dog trainer and breeder for a mom, I grew up with many types of animals, including exotics like geckos and hamsters. I currently have two cats, Willow and Clover. I can’t wait to meet your pets! It is already a part of my daily routine to care for my own pets so I don’t mind a couple more! I work full time but my schedule is super flexible. I am generally available on weekends as well. I offer services like cat sitting, dog sitting, dog walking, horse chores, and can care for exotic pets as well. My own pets health and safety are my top priority, and I always ensure the same for my clients.

About: I have owned dogs my whole life! Nothing gives me more joy than loving on our furry friends! They truly are man’s best friend and especially mine! My husband works from home and I am fully devoted to caring for our pups and yours! We are true dog lovers and will spend our days loving on your fur babies as if they were (and along with) our own! We have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur babies company. However, we can crate your pups or ours if needed as well. Our dogs love to play but if yours don’t, we can accommodate to keep them safe.

About: I am currently a 2nd year veterinary student, but I have worked as a veterinary assistant an ER animal hospital but have worked previously at a general practice as well caring for pets in the medical environment I am available any day as I am on winter break from vet school. I can virtually do any time but best would be after 3pm. I will always keep the pets safety in mind and provide a safe but active environment for them. I have a fenced in yard as well

About: I absolutely adore animals of all shapes and sizes! I personally have 2 dogs and a cat but I’ve had snakes, a chinchilla, rats, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, among other family pets. I’ve never sought out an animal, I’ve only taken in animals when other people couldn’t continue caring for them. I adore any animal and love connecting with them. I also previously worked at Camp Bow Wow so I’ve worked with 100’s of dogs with different temperaments, personalities, and personal needs. While working there I had to give all sorts of meals and medicines. Everyday, I have to do basic pet tasks such as feeding, changing water, changing litter, and medications. I also walk my dogs multiple times a day. I follow any basic rules set out for me, i.e. diet, walk time, social time. They are the children of the owner and I understand they sometimes need special care or the pet and owner have a certain routine in place. But I have basic knowledge on plenty animals and can gladly care for them as if they are my own.

About: I grew up with a Yorkie and now care for him in his senior years with doggy dementia, which has taught me the importance of patience, gentle routines, and creating a calm, comforting environment. Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays I get out of class for 11 and am free for the rest of the day. Tuesdays and Thursdays are a little tougher for me due to my classes being scattered throughout the day. I enjoy taking them on walks, giving them baths, playing with them, cuddling with them, feeding and taking them out, and just having an emotional support animal around me!

About: My name is Remy and I am currently wrapping up my second year at the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. I am set to graduate with my DVM in 2028. Before entering into vet school, I graduated with my bachelors degree in animal science (2023) and went on to get my Masters in Public Health (2024) with aspirations to work as a dual degree DVM/MPH professional. I have worked as a veterinary technician for about 3.5 years and I have experience with administering extensive care and medication to animals of all ages. I am a fear free certified professional meaning that I am trained to alleviate fear, anxiety, and stress in your pet. I currently live at home with my beautiful wife, 2 dogs, 1 cat and our one year old son. I would love to care for your pets as if they are my own! I will begin vet school in August and will have free time in between classes, mornings, and afternoons to care for animals.
