About: I love dogs...of all sizes! I am available to help care for and love on your pups while you are at work or away on vacation to provide the attention they need! I love being active so will give them plenty of exercise. I had a 70 lb dog for 11.5 years who was as wild and crazy as they come so I am up for handling any and all kinds of breeds! My 9 year old golden doodle keeps me active and always on the move so bring on the walks and play dates! I am available to transport, walk, sit, and provide extra hugs and kisses to your beloved dog. Just let me know what it is you may need and I will be more than happy to help you and your pup out! I am from Indiana but come visit my boyfriend in Baton Rouge more than once a month usually for the week or more, so always looking to get out while he’s at work! A walk AND hang with a pup?! Win. Win! Happy to give your dog a good walk while you’re away or a potty break and play. I will give them all the love and attention every pup needs while their human is away.

About: I’ve pet sat for friends and family for years and have been walking neighbors’ dogs for a few months. I have a large dog myself so I can be relied on to walk and care for large dogs. I currently keep a neighbor’s dog for doggy daycare about 2-3 hours during the day. They LOVE to play with each other and I have plenty of enrichment toys and treats to keep them occupied. I currently keep a dog for doggy daycare from 12:00-2:00 on weekdays, but my schedule is flexible. I am available during weekdays for walks and check ins from 8:00 am-6:00 pm. I am also available for weekday and weekend boarding and house sitting. I have a fenced in backyard and a fairly open floor plan offering a lot of play space. My dog and the dog I keep during the day are both very sweet but can be quite rambunctious at times. They are both well trained and very friendly with people and other dogs. Before moving to Baton Rouge, I used to own my own business cleaning houses and have a lot of experience working in other people’s homes. I understand how difficult it can be letting someone new into your home, especially when you may not be there. I am a great communicator, very trustworthy, and have a flexible schedule. I often send pictures or videos of pets to keep you updated and let you know your fur baby is safe and happy!

When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal rhythm. I follow your feeding, walking, and medication schedules exactly as you outline, and I make sure they get the same level of attention and affection they’re used to. About: My pack of dogs range from about 30 pounds to over 150, and several of them are high-energy breeds who need serious daily exercise. Whether your dog is a couch potato, a big gentle giant, or a ball of nonstop energy, I know how to keep them happy, tired, and well cared for. Living with dogs of every size and energy level has taught me how to read body language, manage different personalities, and meet each dog's individual needs. I'm comfortable handling large and giant breeds, and I know that a dog who doesn't get enough exercise can turn into a very create (and destructive) dog. Active pups get the long walks (or runs), play sessions, and mental stimulation they need, and I plan outings around Louisiana's heat, with early mornings and evenings in the summer, so everyone stays safe and comfortable. What your pup can expect: Daily walks and vigorous playtime, tailed to your dog's energy level. Feeding and medication on your schedule. Photo and video updates so you can see the fun. A calm, dog savvy home or drop-ins. Patience, consistency, and a lot of love. I am able to tend to your pets before I go to work, during my break, and after I get off of work. I also have full availability on weekends. I care for pets in my home based on the differing needs of each pet. I previously had a dog that had diabetes and required insulin twice a day, as well as another dog I found that had severe heart worms and required daily medication, so I am comfortable giving your pets their needed medication.

About: I’ve worked as a veterinary technician for over 2 years in Baton Rouge and am starting veterinary school at LSU in August. I am not only trained in caring for pets and watching over them, but am able to medicate and fulfill any extra needs they may have. I am currently in veterinary school at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine! My class schedule varies day to day, but I am always available to come 6:00-7:00am and in the evenings 5:00-10:00 pm (possibly earlier then 5 if necessary). Depending on the location, I can most likely fit in a walk or potty break during mid day 12:00-1:00pm. I am not only professionally trained on proper animal welfare and care, but how to medicate pets (including injections) and notice any early signs of illness. I am responsible with the animals I help provide care for everyday at work, and that will not fall short of providing that same care to your fur babies! I will be gentle, caring, and loving to each and every animal that is in my care! I will make sure your pets are fed and walked, and give them extra play time in the yard or activity. I can keep up with training, if you have a puppy, or provide gentle care for an older dog. I am comfortable caring for all ages of dogs and conform to their exact needs. I am also comfortable doing nail trims and giving baths if they needed.

About: I am a veterinary student just looking to make extra money. I've grown up with animals all my life and work at a vet clinic in which I have gained valuable experience with handling and caring for dogs, cats, and various other species. I have three dogs and a cat of my own, and have cared for many dogs and cats through the boarding offered at my vet clinic, adjusting to each pet’s specific needs like medication, feeding requirements, etc. I know the basics of veterinary medicine and I know how to administer medication. I also know the proper ways on how to restrain/walk animals. I am comfortable with any size or number of dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, pocket pets, or any other animals that need to be taken care of! I will treat them like my own! I’m currently a full time as a veterinary student, so multiple visits throughout the day may not be possible. However, please inquire and we can discuss arrangements! I care for your pet in your own home as if they were my own. Showering with affection, ensuring they are fed, watered, and healthy. I also ensure your house is tidy and safe.

About: I have owned dogs my whole life! Nothing gives me more joy than loving on our furry friends! They truly are man’s best friend and especially mine! My husband works from home and I am fully devoted to caring for our pups and yours! We are true dog lovers and will spend our days loving on your fur babies as if they were (and along with) our own! We have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur babies company. However, we can crate your pups or ours if needed as well. Our dogs love to play but if yours don’t, we can accommodate to keep them safe.

About: I worked as a shift lead at a doggy daycare called Dogtopia for almost 4 years. I have received training on how to deal with different breeds of dogs. I have worked with a variety of breeds, ages, and sizes and have a lot of experience in training behavior. I have also dealt with up to 30 dogs in one day care room during solo shifts. I have owned a dog for 12 years back at my house in Virginia, and currently do not live with him. I am also very organized and reliable. I will always be on time or early to appointments! I currently work full-time from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. I am available to host overnight dogs and can provide walks or drop-in visits before and after my work hours. I also have greater availability on evenings and weekends, allowing me to provide reliable and attentive care for your pets. I am also available most weekends. I am very friendly with new animals and am able to learn their behaviors quickly. I am not harsh when trying to correct their behavior, but will make sure they don’t try to misbehave.

About: Animals have always been a passion throughout my life, which is why I turned to pet sitting. Ever since I was a little girl my family and I have always had dogs ranging from a tiny teacup yorkie to a large golden retriever to even frogs and rabbits. My experience with pet care really began when I became the primary caregiver to my yorkie. From there, I began pet sitting for many neighbors and friends and have been able to create a fun-loving experience out of it! About: I’m a vet tech student with a deep passion for animals. I am willing to accommodate a vast variety of pets in all breeds and sizes! I’m currently available part time because of school. I guarantee your pet will love being in my company as much as I will love being in theirs. Im a full time student so I have classes in the morning Monday-Thursday other than that your baby is most like to be hanging out with me watching tv or riding around the city. My yard has a fenced backyard for day time play and they will sleep in a pet crate at night. Playtime is supervised to make sure all the babies play nice!
