Caitlin is what happens if Dr. Doolittle has a baby with Artemis, goddess of the hunt and then Jane Goodall mentors that baby to be a kind, knowledgeable, badass animal caretaker. She handled my two monsters like a boss, playing with them a while before leash training my wild puppy while also letting my old man puppy take much needed walking breaks to roll around and sniff. She gave prompt updates and lots of pictures (which I LOVED) and I intend to use her for all my dog walking in the future.

Lori is the best! I love hearing from her while I’m at work about her walks and playtime with my dog. I only needed her for a few weeks but she was reliable and really connected with my dog during that time. No complaints here - would highly recommend!

Tenay is a skilled and enthusiastic dog walker who keeps in touch when caring for pets. She stayed with my pup for three days while I was out of town, and did a great job, even managing to get my "loves to nap" dog out for some long walks (which he needs). She sent photos and videos and I felt confident that he was Ok at all times.

Adeline is the only person I want to take care of my dog when I’m away. I have been working with her for over 2 years now and have never had a concern or complaint about her care of my dogs or anything else. She is very reliable and takes excellent care of them. Her attention to detail and frequent communication about how things are going and any needs she notices help me feel comfortable when I’m not there. She loves animals and is very knowledgeable about them. My dogs love her and enjoy her company and attention. If you have animals that are spoiled children I strongly recommend her as your pet care provider.

About: I have had the privilege of growing up surrounded by animals of all kinds, from dogs and cats to cows and beyond. Animals have always been a central part of my life, and that love and care extends to the pets I look after. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your beloved pet, and I’m here to offer a safe, loving, and attentive environment for them while you’re away. I currently have a dog who holds a very special place in my heart. He has some special needs, so I’m continually learning new ways to ensure he receives the best possible care. I’m comfortable administering medication and adjusting care routines to meet the specific needs of each pet, whether they’re young and active, senior and slow, or have unique health considerations. I work full-time Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM. On weekends, I’m usually fully available, and I can also meet in the evenings and mornings before work. When caring for pets in your home, I focus on providing a comfortable, safe, and consistent environment for your pets. I do this by following routines and maintaining a familiar space.

About: I absolutely adore animals of all shapes and sizes! I personally have 2 dogs and a cat but I’ve had snakes, a chinchilla, rats, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, among other family pets. I’ve never sought out an animal, I’ve only taken in animals when other people couldn’t continue caring for them. I adore any animal and love connecting with them. I also previously worked at Camp Bow Wow so I’ve worked with 100’s of dogs with different temperaments, personalities, and personal needs. While working there I had to give all sorts of meals and medicines. Everyday, I have to do basic pet tasks such as feeding, changing water, changing litter, and medications. I also walk my dogs multiple times a day. I follow any basic rules set out for me, i.e. diet, walk time, social time. They are the children of the owner and I understand they sometimes need special care or the pet and owner have a certain routine in place. But I have basic knowledge on plenty animals and can gladly care for them as if they are my own.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. Growing up with pets taught me responsibility, patience, and the joy that comes from truly understanding an animal’s needs. As an adult, I’ve continued that commitment through responsible pet ownership, giving my own pets a loving, structured, and enriching home. My foundation in animal care goes even deeper thanks to my years in 4‑H, where I gained hands‑on experience in dog husbandry. From training and grooming to understanding canine behavior and proper health routines, 4‑H gave me practical skills that I still use every day. It shaped the way I approach pet care—with intention, respect, and a focus on safety and well‑being. Whether it’s daily walks, structured play, or simply offering a calm, comforting presence, I bring a lifetime of experience and genuine love for animals to every pet I care for. Your dog isn’t just another booking to me—they’re a member of the family, and I treat them with the same attention and affection I give my own. Working from home allows me to build pet care into the rhythm of my day in a way that feels effortless and intentional. Mornings start with a quick check‑in, fresh water, and a walk to get everyone moving. Throughout the workday, I’m able to offer consistent companionship — whether that’s a midday potty break, a play session between meetings, or simply being a calm presence while I work. I can keep an eye on their behavior, maintain feeding schedules, and respond quickly to their needs. Afternoon breaks often turn into enrichment time: a walk, a puzzle toy, or a little training practice to keep their minds engaged. Even as I wrap up my workday, pets stay part of the flow — evening walks, dinner routines, and plenty of attention. Working from home means your pet gets steady care, structure, and affection woven naturally into my day, not squeezed in around it. I have a fenced yard and 2 friendly dogs (74 lb. silver lab + 35 lb. terrier mix). My goal is to keep your pets routine consistent while providing a clean, safe and calm environment. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal rhythm. I follow your feeding, walking, and medication schedules exactly as you outline, and I make sure they get the same level of attention and affection they’re used to. I also keep your home tidy, respect your space, and provide updates so you always know how your pet is doing.

About: ** Unavailable 5/26 after 1:30 PM ** I’ve had my cat, Gigi, for four years now, and honestly she’s my baby. I know how stressful it is leaving your pets at home, even for a short trip. I’m the type of person who worries about whether they’re bored, if they’re eating enough, if they’re lonely, or if they think you abandoned them. Because of that, I’ve always been really attentive when caring for other people’s pets too. I’ve pet sat for friends many times while they were on vacation or out of town, and I try to make their pets feel as comfortable and loved as possible while their owners are away. Whether that’s sticking to their normal routine, giving them attention and playtime, or just spending extra time with them so they aren’t alone all day, I genuinely enjoy it. I know pets are family to people because mine definitely is to me. Right now my schedule is pretty flexible since I just finished my master’s degree and am going to medical school school in August. That actually makes it really easy for me to fit pet care in consistently. I’m able to plan my day around the pets I’m caring for instead of trying to squeeze it in. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I make it a point to follow all instructions carefully and stick closely to the pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. I’m always on time because I know how important consistency is, especially when it comes to feeding schedules, walks, and medications. Even small delays can make pets anxious or throw off their routine, and I understand how stressful that can feel as an owner. I also try to be very mindful and attentive while I’m there, not just going through the motions but actually making sure the pet is doing well, getting enough attention, and feels calm while their owner is away. I know how much trust it takes to leave your babies in someone else’s care, and I don’t take that lightly at all.

I wake up around 6:30-8:00 AM most days and get right to work caring for the pets. Everyone is let out in backyard, or leashed up for a walk around the block. Pets are diligently cared for. Usually this consists of at least 3 walks per day, a visit to the park, and plenty of backyard time. I spend all day with the animals, leaving only for a personal errand or visit to the store. Each animal is analyzed carefully & fit into proper schedules according to their personality, levels of energy, and socialization. I provide a secure, fenced-in yard and individual kennels for each pet’s comfort and safety. Dogs start their day around 6:30–8:00 AM with a 10 to 30-minute walk, followed by supervised backyard playtime and snacks. Kennels are used only for rest and feeding—pets spend the majority of their day active, social, and engaged. I tailor care to each pet’s needs, whether that includes frequent park trips, light obedience training, short backyard outings or bathing. My goal is to ensure every animal feels safe, loved, and enriched in a clean, well-maintained environment.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. Whenever family members or friends needed anyone to watch their dog I was the first person they’d call. I treat animals like people because they have feelings too. I’m currently looking for a new job so I'm free to do walks in the morning. I’m usually free in the evenings if ever needed to watch your pets at night. Whenever watching other people’s pet I usually ask how they want me to take care of them. Usually I try to keep my dog and the clients separated in the beginning.I’ll spend time with them equally then slowly work up to see how they do together. I usually walk Atticus around the neighborhood at the end of the day. I’ll walk him in the mornings and afternoon with him in the backyard.

About: I’ve pet sat for friends and family for years and have been walking neighbors’ dogs for a few months. I have a large dog myself so I can be relied on to walk and care for large dogs. I currently keep a neighbor’s dog for doggy daycare about 2-3 hours during the day. They LOVE to play with each other and I have plenty of enrichment toys and treats to keep them occupied. I currently keep a dog for doggy daycare from 12:00-2:00 on weekdays, but my schedule is flexible. I am available during weekdays for walks and check ins from 8:00 am-6:00 pm. I am also available for weekday and weekend boarding and house sitting. I have a fenced in backyard and a fairly open floor plan offering a lot of play space. My dog and the dog I keep during the day are both very sweet but can be quite rambunctious at times. They are both well trained and very friendly with people and other dogs. Before moving to Baton Rouge, I used to own my own business cleaning houses and have a lot of experience working in other people’s homes. I understand how difficult it can be letting someone new into your home, especially when you may not be there. I am a great communicator, very trustworthy, and have a flexible schedule. I often send pictures or videos of pets to keep you updated and let you know your fur baby is safe and happy!

About: I have owned cats ever since I moved out on my own. I grew up with dogs, both big and small. Some of my best memories revolve around our enormous black Labrador retriever named dan. I also love small dogs and I am committed to the safety and well-being of all pets that are entrusted to me I work part-time as a college professor, so there are days where I am completely free. On the days I do work, they are typically less than 8 hours shifts. I live alone with one cat but I have a screened in porch and a fenced in backyard. I also live in a great neighborhood for walking dogs. I have a very friendly cat who likes other animals. I have a screened-in porch in a fenced-in yard.
