About: I have owned dogs my entire life. I worked at an animal hospital as a veterinarian's assistant. I adopt never shop! I am able to care for dogs above and beyond a simple walk, and I've never met a dog I didn't like! All of my dogs are given the best care and treatment possible! I have cared for dogs with autoimmune disorders, crippling diseases, various common ailments, pregnancies, nursing puppies, and of course, some of the happiest, healthiest doggies ever! About: Pets are more than just animals. They are part of our families and deserv to be spoiled and loved since they are only with us for a short time. I do transports for rescues as often as possible to help as many as possible to find loving homes. I currently have two dogs and between jobs so my availabilty is pretty open. I can't do overnight/house sit because of my two boys, but can check in and visit anytime. I'm available for walks and house visits, but can't do overnights. I can check or visit at any time though. I treat all animals as good, if not better than my own. I appreciate their various personalites and quirks. One of mine is reactive towards mainly men and other dogs, so I understand some need special attention that others may not. They are all unique individuals.

I used to work at a no-kill animal shelter (no veterinarian experience, but plenty of hands-on care), and I lived on a farm for 10 years with all kinds of animals, exotic and native. I'm good at reading animals that can't tell you what's wrong. I'm a dog mom myself to Milo, a Dutch Shepherd, so your pup gets the same care I'd want for him. I can do dog sitting, drop-in visits, or walks. I can't wait to meet you and your babies! Pet care is a big part of my week. I work part-time, so I have plenty of open time for walks, dropins, and sits. Your pet's routine slots right into my day: morning walks, midday checkins, evening wind downs I follow your pet's routine exactly as you leave it: same feeding times, same walking routes, same rules. I send photo updates so you always know how they're doing, and I leave your home tidy and secure.

About: Hey, it’s Katie, I’ve been taking care of animals since I was born! I’ve professionally dog and cat sat since 2018. The first dog I ever boarded was an elderly blind dog named Daisy. She sparked my love for taking care of other’s animals, it meant so much to me to see Daisy happy and excited to see me come home, even if her human had to go out of town! I have two dogs, two cats, and two birds currently! I have experience caring for puppies, elderly dogs, special needs dogs, and giving daily medications. Munchkin, my forty pound American Foxhound, hates the rain, has separation anxiety, and has epilepsy so he’s medicated daily. I am a full time student with mostly online classes. I have a pretty flexible schedule and can work with special requests. I am all about communication and willing to accommodate any needs your pet may have! I have years of experience with different personalities, training, and caring for a variety of animals! I also have a waist leash to be able to walk multiple dogs at the same time, if that is important to your family’s needs!

Although I recently lost my beloved pets to old age and am not quite ready to adopt again, I deeply miss the companionship and joy animals bring. About: Animals have always been a passion throughout my life, which is why I turned to pet sitting. Ever since I was a little girl my family and I have always had dogs ranging from a tiny teacup yorkie to a large golden retriever to even frogs and rabbits. My experience with pet care really began when I became the primary caregiver to my yorkie. About: I’ve pet sat for friends and family for years and have been walking neighbors’ dogs for a few months. I have a large dog myself so I can be relied on to walk and care for large dogs. I currently keep a neighbor’s dog for doggy daycare about 2-3 hours during the day. They LOVE to play with each other and I have plenty of enrichment toys and treats to keep them occupied. I currently keep a dog for doggy daycare from 12:00-2:00 on weekdays, but my schedule is flexible. I am available during weekdays for walks and check ins from 8:00 am-6:00 pm. I am also available for weekday and weekend boarding and house sitting. I have a fenced in backyard and a fairly open floor plan offering a lot of play space. My dog and the dog I keep during the day are both very sweet but can be quite rambunctious at times. They are both well trained and very friendly with people and other dogs. Before moving to Baton Rouge, I used to own my own business cleaning houses and have a lot of experience working in other people’s homes. I understand how difficult it can be letting someone new into your home, especially when you may not be there. I am a great communicator, very trustworthy, and have a flexible schedule. I often send pictures or videos of pets to keep you updated and let you know your fur baby is safe and happy!

About: I have been around and cared for canines for over 25 years, although not in a professional capacity. I have always had dogs growing up (golden retriever, boxer, beagle, German shepherd, cane Corso). I am experienced and well versed in caring for animals! I am currently working part time as I transition out of active duty military service back into civilian life. I will be getting my masters (New Orleans Seminary) in about a year. About: I’ve had a dog in the house since I was 5 years old. I worked at a vet clinic for 2 years as a boarder before I permanently moved to Baton Rouge. I go to LSU and major in animal science. I have medicated and taken care of anxious/aggressive dogs. I am patient, gentle, and I take account that each pet is a family member to each owner. About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was 15 and am now an Animal Science major. I also work in a veterinary hospital’s boarding department, caring for dogs, cats and other pets as well as helping with medications. Pet care fits well into my weekly routine. I’m available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays after 12 PM, and I also have availability every other weekend. I work Wednesdays and Fridays, but I’m happy to coordinate care around those days when possible. I provide care in my home or clients’ homes.
