About: I absolutely adore animals of all shapes and sizes! I personally have 2 dogs and a cat but I’ve had snakes, a chinchilla, rats, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, among other family pets. I’ve never sought out an animal, I’ve only taken in animals when other people couldn’t continue caring for them. I adore any animal and love connecting with them. I also previously worked at Camp Bow Wow so I’ve worked with 100’s of dogs with different temperaments, personalities, and personal needs. While working there I had to give all sorts of meals and medicines. Everyday, I have to do basic pet tasks such as feeding, changing water, changing litter, and medications. I also walk my dogs multiple times a day. I follow any basic rules set out for me, i.e. diet, walk time, social time. They are the children of the owner and I understand they sometimes need special care or the pet and owner have a certain routine in place. But I have basic knowledge on plenty animals and can gladly care for them as if they are my own.

About: I have been working with animals, dogs especially for over 10 years. I started working with animal rescue since I was 8 years old under the guidance of ARNO and a fellow rescuer who has dedicated her life to dogs. My neighbors, family & friends have asked me in the past to watch their pets from a young age, knowing that they will be in safe hands. Rover is my main job, though I do have one additional side job for slow season. I regularly take care of friends pets and my own. I have a double fenced yard, a smaller yard inside of a larger yard that I allow my pups to play in and do their business in. I pay close attention to my pets along with others due to having a dog that had multiple health conditions up until 2018, when he sadly passed away due to old age. I still use the same care that I had for him for all the pets I watch wheather it be my own or others.

About: I have had and been around dogs my whole life. Friends and family have relied on me many times to watch and care for the dogs. I will give your pet constant love and support throughout our time together. Dogs are my absolute favorite! I currently work multiple part time jobs that I set my own schedules for so I am usually available at anytime of the day with a little advance notice. Evenings and nights are almost always free. Safety and trust is so important to me and that is my top priority when caring for your pet/home. After that, my goal is to be the best friend your pet has! I will give them plenty of attention and play with them as much or little as they like. Happy dogs make me happy!

Tenay is a skilled and enthusiastic dog walker who keeps in touch when caring for pets. She stayed with my pup for three days while I was out of town, and did a great job, even managing to get my "loves to nap" dog out for some long walks (which he needs). She sent photos and videos and I felt confident that he was Ok at all times.

About: Hi, my name is Shannon! When I was little I had a family dog named Ringo and loved him. As an adult, I've had several dogs and cats. Currently, I have a Pitbull named Roxie who is 14.5 years old and is my best friend. I lost my other best friend (also a Pitbull) Diesel in 2021 to cancer - he was 13.5 years old. I also have a 15 year old cat named Jax and a 9 year old bunny named Mufasa. I'm very experienced with handling breeds of all sizes and temperaments. I'm familiar with administering medications if necessary. I'm a Realtor, so my schedule is flexible to be able to care for your pet when you need! Whether that's walking, feeding, or both! If you let me know what your pet's preferences are, I will do my best to make them feel the most comfortable while you are away!

Caitlin is what happens if Dr. Doolittle has a baby with Artemis, goddess of the hunt and then Jane Goodall mentors that baby to be a kind, knowledgeable, badass animal caretaker. She handled my two monsters like a boss, playing with them a while before leash training my wild puppy while also letting my old man puppy take much needed walking breaks to roll around and sniff. She gave prompt updates and lots of pictures (which I LOVED) and I intend to use her for all my dog walking in the future.

About: Hello, my name is Ashley. I'm from Ohio and have been in Baton Rouge for the past 9 years. I've had dogs and other pets ever since I was born and have yet to meet a dog that I don't like. Recently, we bought our own home with a large yard. Its completely fenced in and in a nice neighborhood. My mini labradoodle, Peppa, loves its and goes out nearly every hour even if it's just to play. I am a stay at home mom of 5 children. They all love animals and have been taught how to behave around them. I require that any fur baby that I take in, have been around and did ok with a "human baby". Your pet will not be alone with my children, as a precaution, but its still important. I guarantee that I will treat any fur baby in my care as if it were my own. My job is to keep them as safe, comfortable, and happy as I possibly can. I am a fetch and belly rub professional. Looking forward to caring for your furry family member!

About: Hi! My name is Cameron. I am a student at Louisiana state university, studying pre-veterinary medicine. I am currently employed at VCA All Pets, a vet clinic located on Perkins Rowe, and have been for almost a year now. I have plenty professional experience taking care of animals in boarding and treatment and can provide the best care for your pet. I have grown up with several pets my entire life, so I am more than prepared! I’ve also owned reptiles in the past and taken care of them in boarding at the vet clinic, so I am also comfortable and experienced in providing care for reptiles if you have any! (or any exotics for that matter—such as rabbits and hamsters, etc.) I am a full-time student at Louisiana State University and work part-time at a vet clinic. However, I am extremely talented in time-management and will be 100% capable of taking care of your pet—being a dog and cat mom myself I understand how important they are in our lives. Because of my class schedule, I am fairly free all days of the week! Contact me to see specifics of my availability. My life revolves around other people’s pets and my own, I can assure you I am the right pick for you! Also, because of my veterinary experience, I am comfortable with administering different types of medications to dogs and cats. I will treat your animals with the same care and compassion I do mine!

About: I have a great love for animal and children. I am a Kindergarten teacher at a charter school. I have two fur babies, Bella and Cody (cocker spaniels). I am married with 3 precious kids, the oldest is ten years old. We simply adore dogs and have fostered for several rescues Great opportunity for me and you because I get to love on your babies and help you out at the same time. We believe in allowing pets freedom in the house but follow a strict bathroom schedule to make sure there are no accidents in the house. We will allow the dogs ample playtime outside and walks. During the summer, we only leave the house for a couple hours. During school year, dogs are taken out at 5am and 4pm and again at 8pm. Between 5 and 6 pm dinner. Play outside for about 15 minutes before bed. I have a friendly dog and can easily crate your dog if needed. My dog is crate trained but allowed free rein when we are home.

About: My experience is mixed. I started pet sitting at 12 years old but would help take care of family members’ pets as a child. My experience escalated when I got a job at camp bow wow, and most recently a job at a facility caring for dogs AND cats. I only left because I had to return to school in Florida. That being said, I have both receptionist, and animal care experience. I got my first dog at 7 years old and helped to care for her from then until she passed when I was 18. It’s ok though, 11 is very old for a boxer🥲. My other dog lives with my parents and is turning 7 in December. She is my baby. Otherwise I love hanging out with my roomate’s cats (there are three!!) One of them hides in his room, another has warmed up to me, and another loves to come in my room and cuddle against me on my bed. I have so much free time this summer as I am letting this be my job and I am taking one online class! That means I will have all the time in the world for your petsI love to read, crochet, and Hand sew, so I can do that when the animal is resting, being cuddly, or during alone time! I have a fenced in yard back at home so I usually just let my dog out. She has friends that she likes to play with that come over each day. Otherwise when I’m home I help out in daily husbandry such as feeding and watering. I also walk her and play with her. I can also clip her nails. Darker nails are a little hard to do, but I’ve learned how to and would probably offer nail trimming and baths as a service. If your pet gets incredibly dirty on my watch though, I’ll bath them for free. Unless they have long coats. In that case, they need to be groomed or else they’ll mat. I can also clean, do dishes, and do laundry.

I have very open availability and I'm flexible. I have open availability so I can spend plenty of time with your pet to make sure they get the love and care that they need.
