About: I’ve been caring for animals from a very young age, growing up on a farm where tending to a wide variety of animals was part of my everyday life. That experience gave me a strong understanding of animal behavior, responsibility, and the importance of consistent, attentive care. Over the years, I’ve become comfortable working with dogs of all ages and needs—from energetic puppies who require patience and structure, to senior dogs who benefit from a gentler, more attentive approach. I also have experience caring for dogs with medical needs and am confident in following detailed care instructions, including administering medications when needed. I’m especially mindful with anxious or shy dogs, taking the time to build trust and create a calm, reassuring environment so they feel safe and secure. I am currently working full-time less than 5 minutes from home. I feed my dogs and let them out around 7:00 am before work. My husband is home with our dogs until 2:00 pm before he leaves for work. I arrive home around 5:00 pm and I spend most of my evening in the backyard if possible. I have a fenced in yard and a basket full of toys. I have 2 dogs of my own that enjoy playing with others, so your pet is sure to be in good company.
“So glad Snoopy could play with other dogs and Emery was able to squeeze us in for our weekend of football festivities! Snoop’s hooman big bro won too so an awesome weekend all around!!”

“Gabby is amazing! She kept Lux over Easter and did an Easter Egg Hunt and had an Easter Basket made for her. Lux had a wonderful time and absolutely loved staying with Gabby! 100/10 would recommend!”

“Tessie did a great job checking in on our girls! We have one who is very shy and she still get her a couple treats. Then she entertained our kitten for the rest of the drop in to get some energy out. Will be using her again!”

“Ross made drop-in visits for our kitties (2) while we were on vacation. Ross was very responsive to all communication from the beginning of this process, through our return. He sent photos of our kitties each day when he visited. We will likely hire Ross again to care for our cats when we leave town.”

“Ashley was great. This was the first time having a sitter for my 3 dogs. She had a total of 5 visits over 3 days. Ashley was on time & quick to respond with pictures of all 3 dogs plus 2 cats. I will book her again.”

About: What sets me apart is my patience, attentiveness, and natural caregiving personality. As a future nurse currently studying at Southeastern, I’m very detail-oriented and comfortable following specific routines while paying close attention to any changes in behavior. I’m especially gentle with young pets who are still learning and need consistency. I also have a senior cat of my own, so I understand the extra patience, comfort, and attentiveness older pets need. Whether your pet is energetic or prefers a slower pace, I will care for them like they’re my own.

“Karsyn kept in good contact in the days leading up to the scheduled meet and greet. She asked great questions and caught on very quickly to the commands we use and routines we follow. She showed confidence and kindness in her interactions with our Stella in her first solo drop in visit. We have and will book again with Karsyn.”

“Kaylee was awesome and sweet! She checked in on our babies and kept us updated with photos and messages! She even got our shy boy to open up with her. We will definitely be booking again!”

About: I can remember from the time that I was younger, that we have always had at least one cat in the house. When I was younger. It was a Siamese cat named Simon. Then once he passed, we got another cat. His name was Garfield, of course, and then I recently, about seven years ago got my cat, which is a girl, and her name is Theo. She has been the absolute best adoption cat that I have ever had. She cheers me up when I’ve had the worst day and she’s very sweet, always wanting to cuddle and show love as I do with her. I have no problem with cleaning out litter boxes and/or to administer medication’s, should the cat need, or have to have it, for a vet issue. It would be my pleasure to look after your cat/kitten.

“On time and very thorough, plus my animals loved Katie from the very moment they met her!! If I ever need animal care again I’ll definitely re-book if she’s available 😊”

“Brijaye showed up on time every day (weekday, weekend and holiday) and took great care of my 3 cats. I even saw them waiting by the door for her to arrive in the morning. She sent several pics each day and a little note about each one's behaviors (eating, hiding, etc). I highly recommend her and will definitely will plan to use her services again!”

“Thank you Emily for taking care of our kitties and treating them like they were your own! Emily provided amazing communication and awesome updates. I not once worried about my fur babies while I was out of town. Emily is awesome and I highly recommend!!”

About: I have cat sitted on many occasions for my neighborhood! I am also the friend that gets along with the “cat that hates everyone.” I’ve found with that respect is a cat’s #1 priority, when deciding to make new friends! My cat Ludo was a typical street kitten, and Callie was a terrified kennel cat whose previous owners decided to declaw her. They each have their own quirks but both have thrived with time and a sense of autonomy, crying for extra food or demanding extra cuddles!

“debra was such a miracle. i needed a last minute sitter for my kitty and she made herself available. great communication. definitely would recommend her to anyone!”

About: I've owned pets my entire life. I have personal experience caring for a range of dogs from Mastiffs to chihuahuas. I also own 3 cats. I currently have a flex work schedule the allows me to leave work during the day or early if I need to check on animals! I live in a gated community, with a gated dog park across the street. My balcony is blocked off to prevent cats from jumping off.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. Growing up with pets taught me responsibility, patience, and the joy that comes from truly understanding an animal’s needs. As an adult, I’ve continued that commitment through responsible pet ownership, giving my own pets a loving, structured, and enriching home. My foundation in animal care goes even deeper thanks to my years in 4‑H, where I gained hands‑on experience in dog husbandry. From training and grooming to understanding canine behavior and proper health routines, 4‑H gave me practical skills that I still use every day. It shaped the way I approach pet care—with intention, respect, and a focus on safety and well‑being. Whether it’s daily walks, structured play, or simply offering a calm, comforting presence, I bring a lifetime of experience and genuine love for animals to every pet I care for. Your dog isn’t just another booking to me—they’re a member of the family, and I treat them with the same attention and affection I give my own. Working from home allows me to build pet care into the rhythm of my day in a way that feels effortless and intentional. Mornings start with a quick check‑in, fresh water, and a walk to get everyone moving. Throughout the workday, I’m able to offer consistent companionship — whether that’s a midday potty break, a play session between meetings, or simply being a calm presence while I work. I can keep an eye on their behavior, maintain feeding schedules, and respond quickly to their needs. Afternoon breaks often turn into enrichment time: a walk, a puzzle toy, or a little training practice to keep their minds engaged. Even as I wrap up my workday, pets stay part of the flow — evening walks, dinner routines, and plenty of attention. Working from home means your pet gets steady care, structure, and affection woven naturally into my day, not squeezed in around it. I have a fenced yard and 2 friendly dogs (74 lb. silver lab + 35 lb. terrier mix). My goal is to keep your pets routine consistent while providing a clean, safe and calm environment. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal rhythm. I follow your feeding, walking, and medication schedules exactly as you outline, and I make sure they get the same level of attention and affection they’re used to. I also keep your home tidy, respect your space, and provide updates so you always know how your pet is doing.

About: I have owned and lived with dogs and cats my whole life. I have 3 fur babies who are spoiled and well-loved, Mylo the Siberian Husky (2 years old), Lily the sweet mix breed rescue (6 years old), and Baxter the Dachshund Beagle rescue (7 years old) and 1 fur nephew, Rufus the Corgi (3 years old) who frequently stays with his cousins and auntie to play. We love the dog park, long walks (Mylo especially), and couch snuggles/naps. They enjoy chasing each other in the backyard and to birdwatch/neighborhood watch from the living room windows. I have experience with many breeds and all ages. Having two rescues myself I am also comfortable with rescue dogs who may need more time to warm up and trust you. I also love cats and have always had one-I just don’t currently have one. Fur babies aren’t just pets-they are family. I work from home with a very flexible schedule. I am available for walks, drop ins, and boarding any day of the week or weekend. I can come to you! I have a fenced yard and 3 fur babies who are dog friendly and love to play! I've been in Pet care for 15 years. I've been with kittens as they were born and I've held an old dog as it took its last breaths. Been loving animals my entire life. I've added Rover to help reach more loving families in my town ❤️ as well as reach out to other communities I'm currently working Rover 100% of my time. If you need me to sit with your fur babe, I'll be there the entire time. Ill be reachable and able to answer questions the entire time. I love to play with the dogs. We have such a wonderful understanding of eachother. I will be seen spending most of the time in the yard or playing inside with my furry friends.
About: My husband and I have always had pets growing up. We knew we wanted this for our children as well. Our daughter and son love pets and would want a farm if we allowed it! I am available mornings, afternoons and evenings. Before I leave for work all pets are fed and taken outside. Upon returning home I let the pets out again for a bit longer to play in our fenced in yard. Mornings begin with food and water and a morning treat. Bella lets us know when she needs to go out by going to the patio door. During the day she is very chill and usually lays on the sofa waiting on the kids to return from school. When everyone is home from work and school Bella is fed again and everyone gets some snuggles in with her.
“Robin was wonderful! So responsive and communicative. I have never used a dog sitter before but I felt very comfortable leaving my puppy with Robin in her home. She sent photo updates frequently and sent my puppy home with some goodies. We loved Robin!”

“My boy had such a good day with Courtney!! He attached to her and made him a new bestie today. Very thankful she was able to accommodate me in my last minute needs! Would definitely trust her with my baby again in the future!!”

I bring my dogs to the dog park several times a week, and I am a member of the Burbank dog park Facebook group so I can provide lots of references. About: Before Rover 👵🏻 I would get recruited as a kid to watch my relatives’ pets while they were away. In college, I would house and pet sit for my boss and coworkers. I have two cats, but have a very soft spot for pups, too. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I’m available for walks during the day/ evening and for house sitting or check ins. I will treat your baby like they’re my own! I know they get sad when you’re away, so I am available for extra love and keeping things as normal as possible.
About: I absolutely adore animals of all shapes and sizes! I personally have 2 dogs and a cat but I’ve had snakes, a chinchilla, rats, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, among other family pets. I’ve never sought out an animal, I’ve only taken in animals when other people couldn’t continue caring for them. I adore any animal and love connecting with them. I also previously worked at Camp Bow Wow so I’ve worked with 100’s of dogs with different temperaments, personalities, and personal needs. While working there I had to give all sorts of meals and medicines. Everyday, I have to do basic pet tasks such as feeding, changing water, changing litter, and medications. I also walk my dogs multiple times a day. I follow any basic rules set out for me, i.e. diet, walk time, social time. They are the children of the owner and I understand they sometimes need special care or the pet and owner have a certain routine in place. But I have basic knowledge on plenty animals and can gladly care for them as if they are my own.
About: I guess I would say what sets me apart from others is my attitude. I have a wonderful and positive attitude, especially around the animals and have taken care of quite a few different species of animals as well as helped to rescue some after storms and hurricanes. I am interested in this line of work because of My Love for animals, and just how crazy this world has gotten. I would much rather be with our furry friends than at/on any shop or work experience type environment. Currently, I do not work full-time. I’m looking to make this a full-time job/re-occurence, so that I can take care of, or look after your animal whenever is convenient for you. Thanks so much for including me in your pet(s) needs services. At my current home, I have a pretty large size fenced in backyard all the way around, and no holes/ways for any dogs to be able to get out. I also have a doggie door built in for animals to go through when it’s open (dogs, and cats that are able to use it). It is an extra large wide doggie door because I had a yellow lab and she was not small, so I’d gotten the biggest one that they had at the time, and installed it which is a plus for animals who can’t hold it, they can run outside to the backyard and use whenever they need to, which is a great perk. I do have one female cat currently (8 years old) and she is dog friendly. She has been through two separate dogs in the past, one being a German Shepherd, the other a yellow lab and now I have a 9 month ole adopted/rescue dog named Lumi. She is part Dalmatian, and part terrier mix. I promise if she (the cat) was able to withstand both of those two dogs always wanting to play with her and nudging her, then I’m pretty sure she can tolerate any dog. She is, and has been a great cat. Also at my house, I have a covered with blanket/sheet ottoman/foot rest that I allow the dog and cat to climb in and sleep on that your animal is welcome to use. Dogs and cats both can bring so much comfort and joy in a time of need, and for me that’s what it was at first, but now I just enjoy their company, cute faces, being able to talk to them, and give them love. I love to take care of them and treat them as any animal should be treated, the correct way. I will treat your animal with as much love and attention as I do my very own, and look forward to meeting both human and animal!!!
About: I am an experienced pet sitter providing dependable care, feeding, exercise, companionship, and stability to pets needing some extra care while their owner is away. I am dedicated to ensuring pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I work a very flexible job, so I am able to come to your pets at any time and enjoy spending time with them during the day! If a pet is in my home, I try to make them as comfortable as possible in a new environment. That includes a possible test visit (if wanted), and consistent updates to pet owners. If in a client home, I stick to the routine provided and ensure that the pets are safe and well cared for, and check in with pet owners consistently.
“Tenay is a skilled and enthusiastic dog walker who keeps in touch when caring for pets. She stayed with my pup for three days while I was out of town, and did a great job, even managing to get my "loves to nap" dog out for some long walks (which he needs). She sent photos and videos and I felt confident that he was Ok at all times.”

About: I have had and been around dogs my whole life. Friends and family have relied on me many times to watch and care for the dogs. I will give your pet constant love and support throughout our time together. Dogs are my absolute favorite! I currently work multiple part time jobs that I set my own schedules for so I am usually available at anytime of the day with a little advance notice. Evenings and nights are almost always free. Safety and trust is so important to me and that is my top priority when caring for your pet/home. After that, my goal is to be the best friend your pet has! I will give them plenty of attention and play with them as much or little as they like. Happy dogs make me happy!
About: I have had the privilege of growing up surrounded by animals of all kinds, from dogs and cats to cows and beyond. Animals have always been a central part of my life, and that love and care extends to the pets I look after. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your beloved pet, and I’m here to offer a safe, loving, and attentive environment for them while you’re away. I currently have a dog who holds a very special place in my heart. He has some special needs, so I’m continually learning new ways to ensure he receives the best possible care. I’m comfortable administering medication and adjusting care routines to meet the specific needs of each pet, whether they’re young and active, senior and slow, or have unique health considerations. I work full-time Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM. On weekends, I’m usually fully available, and I can also meet in the evenings and mornings before work. When caring for pets in your home, I focus on providing a comfortable, safe, and consistent environment for your pets. I do this by following routines and maintaining a familiar space.

“Kaylee was so amazing! She was reliable, kind and so great with coming to walk our pup twice a day while we were on vacation for 2 weeks. Will 100% be using Kaylee again in the future.”

“Caitlin is what happens if Dr. Doolittle has a baby with Artemis, goddess of the hunt and then Jane Goodall mentors that baby to be a kind, knowledgeable, badass animal caretaker. She handled my two monsters like a boss, playing with them a while before leash training my wild puppy while also letting my old man puppy take much needed walking breaks to roll around and sniff. She gave prompt updates and lots of pictures (which I LOVED) and I intend to use her for all my dog walking in the future.”

About: Hey, it’s Katie, I’ve been taking care of animals since I was born! I’ve professionally dog and cat sat since 2018. The first dog I ever boarded was an elderly blind dog named Daisy. She sparked my love for taking care of other’s animals, it meant so much to me to see Daisy happy and excited to see me come home, even if her human had to go out of town! I have two dogs, two cats, and two birds currently! I have experience caring for puppies, elderly dogs, special needs dogs, and giving daily medications. Munchkin, my forty pound American Foxhound, hates the rain, has separation anxiety, and has epilepsy so he’s medicated daily. I am a full time student with mostly online classes. I have a pretty flexible schedule and can work with special requests. I am all about communication and willing to accommodate any needs your pet may have! I have years of experience with different personalities, training, and caring for a variety of animals! I also have a waist leash to be able to walk multiple dogs at the same time, if that is important to your family’s needs!
“Lori is the best! I love hearing from her while I’m at work about her walks and playtime with my dog. I only needed her for a few weeks but she was reliable and really connected with my dog during that time. No complaints here - would highly recommend!”

“Debra was excellent with my senior dog Henry. She was always on time, she was able to find a way to get him to eat breakfast and she gave regular updates. Highly recommend.”

About: I’ve cared for animals for years and have experience with both dogs and cats of all ages. I have owned my own dog for 6 years and regularly pet sit for family and friends. I have also rescued stray kittens, providing food, care, and socialization before helping them find safe shelter placement and forever homes. I understand the importance of patience, responsibility, and treating every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. As a student, I have a flexible schedule. During the summer I only work occasional Fridays and Saturdays, allowing plenty of time for pet care, walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always follow the owner’s instructions. I prioritize safety, provide regular attention, maintain routines, and ensure pets feel comfortable and secure in their home.

About: Hello, my name is Ashley. I'm from Ohio and have been in Baton Rouge for the past 9 years. I've had dogs and other pets ever since I was born and have yet to meet a dog that I don't like. Recently, we bought our own home with a large yard. Its completely fenced in and in a nice neighborhood. My mini labradoodle, Peppa, loves its and goes out nearly every hour even if it's just to play. I am a stay at home mom of 5 children. They all love animals and have been taught how to behave around them. I require that any fur baby that I take in, have been around and did ok with a "human baby". Your pet will not be alone with my children, as a precaution, but its still important. I guarantee that I will treat any fur baby in my care as if it were my own. My job is to keep them as safe, comfortable, and happy as I possibly can. I am a fetch and belly rub professional. Looking forward to caring for your furry family member!

“Lauren and Cody went above and beyond to make our dogs' transition into their home and stay wonderful. They sent updates and pictures every day. We would definitely use them again to keep our dogs.”

“Keith was friendly, very communicative and our dogs loved staying with him! He is also an experienced dog trainer and made sure our dog took his medicine during their stay. We will be boarding with him again next time we go out of town and recommending him to friends. Thank you for taking such good care of Scully and Fisher!”

“Bradley graciously accepted a short notice booking for our dog Ghost. He was very communicative and responsive leading up to and throughout the boarding stay. Bradley’s dog Beaux is very sweet, gentle & got along well with Ghost. We 100% recommend Bradley for boarding.”

“This was our dog’s 2nd stay with Amanda. As soon as I dropped her off at Amanda’s house, I could tell Marley remembered being there and was excited to be back! Amanda sends frequent updates and pictures, which really helped us not to worry about our baby while we were away. Will definitely book with her again in the future!”

“Tracy was absolutely amazing with Rocky. She was so sweet and caring from the very beginning. She kept me updated the entire time, sending pictures and letting me know how he was doing, which gave me so much peace of mind. Rocky came back home calm, happy, and not nervous at all, that says everything. I’m truly grateful for how well she took care of him. Highly recommend her and would definitely trust her again with Rocky”

“Makayla was pleasant. She provided pictures while Bentley was in her care and was very responsive in answering questions (messages). I wasn’t sure how Bentley would do with other dogs but he was pictured with other dogs and that’s something that made me very happy to see. I will rebook with Makayla.”

“Savannah is the best. She really takes great care of my dog. She’s everything to me. My dog’s always so happy when she comes home and that means a lot to me I couldn’t ask for a better sitter or someone to leave my dog with when I’m away, she is by far the best in my eyes”

“Johanna and her family took excellent care of my dog, Beanie! She provided updates throughout my trip so I could see how well Beanie was doing. I felt almost guilty when I picked Beanie up, because it was so obvious that she’d developed a real bond with Johanna and her dogs. I highly recommend Johanna as a sitter. She is caring and communicative, and your furry family member will have a wonderful time!”

“Elise was very professional yet warm and kind. I think our lab may have not wanted to come back home. I will definitely recommend Elise to anyone looking to get their best friend back in better condition than they were left. Will use here again in the future if she is available.”

“Lauren accepted a last minute request to keep our Pom overnight. Lauren is always accommodating and very friendly. She treats our dog, Meryl, like she is her own. Lauren sent pics throughout her stay showing Meryl relaxed, playing outside, interacting with other dogs, and on walks. Lauren is a pro at caring for dogs.”
