About: I’ve been caring for animals from a very young age, growing up on a farm where tending to a wide variety of animals was part of my everyday life. That experience gave me a strong understanding of animal behavior, responsibility, and the importance of consistent, attentive care. Over the years, I’ve become comfortable working with dogs of all ages and needs—from energetic puppies who require patience and structure, to senior dogs who benefit from a gentler, more attentive approach. I also have experience caring for dogs with medical needs and am confident in following detailed care instructions, including administering medications when needed. I’m especially mindful with anxious or shy dogs, taking the time to build trust and create a calm, reassuring environment so they feel safe and secure. I am currently working full-time less than 5 minutes from home. I feed my dogs and let them out around 7:00 am before work. My husband is home with our dogs until 2:00 pm before he leaves for work. I arrive home around 5:00 pm and I spend most of my evening in the backyard if possible. I have a fenced in yard and a basket full of toys. I have 2 dogs of my own that enjoy playing with others, so your pet is sure to be in good company.

About: I have had dogs my whole life. I currently have a 10 year old Weimaraner that is very friendly with a lot of energy. I have a huge backyard that is fenced in with plenty of space to run. I have been a dog owner since I was a kid. I work full time, but home in the evenings and weekends. My office is 15 minutes away from home. I work 40 hours a week, but home in the evenings and on the weekends. I can leave your pet in the backyard if the weather is nice. My backyard is fenced in. About: I've owned pets my entire life. I have personal experience caring for a range of dogs from Mastiffs to chihuahuas. I also own 3 cats. I currently have a flex work schedule the allows me to leave work during the day or early if I need to check on animals! I live in a gated community, with a gated dog park across the street. About: Animals have always been the biggest aspect of my life! I’ve had a multitude of different types between the normal dog and cats to bigger animals like horses, cows, etc. I have so much love for them and I love to promote safe care in a world where it is hard to trust. I am my friends/coworkers/family go to for any pet care as well. I wake up about an hour before I leave and take care of my animals in the morning by feeding and letting them out for a while so they can run. I go to work and come home at around 12/1pm to let them out. I do kennel my dogs for their own safety and my peace of mind. I give her plenty of time outside of it when I am home. My partner gets home around 3 so he will let them out and run with them before I get home around 4:30. Once I make it home, I will cook dinner and play outside with them for bonding. I make sure to abide by the clients preferences. Their animals are under my care and I will do my best to insure a comfortable and safe environment. I treat them as my own in the way of love but will always be respectful of the boundaries.
About: I’ve been around dogs since I was 5 years old, and I also have a dog of my own (Millie:)) and my Shih Tzu baby Rico I’ve helped cared for back home. About: I absolutely adore animals of all shapes and sizes! I personally have 2 dogs and a cat but I’ve had snakes, a chinchilla, rats, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, among other family pets. I’ve never sought out an animal, I’ve only taken in animals when other people couldn’t continue caring for them. I adore any animal and love connecting with them. I also previously worked at Camp Bow Wow so I’ve worked with 100’s of dogs with different temperaments, personalities, and personal needs. I also walk my dogs multiple times a day. I follow any basic rules set out for me, i.e. diet, walk time, social time. I’m the type of person who worries about whether they’re bored, if they’re eating enough, if they’re lonely, or if they think you abandoned them. Because of that, I’ve always been really attentive when caring for other people’s pets too. I’ve pet sat for friends many times while they were on vacation or out of town, and I try to make their pets feel as comfortable and loved as possible while their owners are away. Whether that’s sticking to their normal routine, giving them attention and playtime, or just spending extra time with them so they aren’t alone all day, I genuinely enjoy it. I know pets are family to people because mine definitely is to me. Right now my schedule is pretty flexible since I just finished my master’s degree and am going to medical school school in August. That actually makes it really easy for me to fit pet care in consistently. I’m able to plan my day around the pets I’m caring for instead of trying to squeeze it in. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I make it a point to follow all instructions carefully and stick closely to the pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. I’m always on time because I know how important consistency is, especially when it comes to feeding schedules, walks, and medications. Even small delays can make pets anxious or throw off their routine, and I understand how stressful that can feel as an owner. I also try to be very mindful and attentive while I’m there, not just going through the motions but actually making sure the pet is doing well, getting enough attention, and feels calm while their owner is away. My mini labradoodle, Peppa, loves its and goes out nearly every hour even if it's just to play. I am a stay at home mom of 5 children. About: I’ve had several dogs in my lifetime. Ranging from tiny to huge! I’m getting a golden retriever in October and would love to hangout with some pups before then. About: I have had and taken care of pets of all kinds (but especially dogs) since I was very young! I’ve had experience with puppies, young dogs, and older dogs, male and female. Even now I help take care of relative’s dogs and I love it. I feed, watch, walk, and make sure they’re happy! I stay in good shape and walk / workout every day, so I am able to handle larger breeds if needed! I live near LSU lakes which is a great place for walking, I usually go around the lakes when I go for walks, so I am familiar with the area well. It’s a great experience for people and pets! I’m pretty flexible and usually available for any activities! I am going to be taking 2 online classes this summer which requires me to be home, it works out well to watch some sweet pups! I do not have any dogs or cats within my home currently. Any pet works just fine to be inside or outside! The living room, dining room, and kitchen are all fairly large open spaces and connected together.
“Savannah and Kadyn took awesome care of our dog, Rosie. They sent us multiple pictures and videos to keep us updated on how Rosie was doing and you could just see how much love and attention she was getting during her stay with them. Not only that, but they were so incredibly accommodating to us when the snow storm hit and our travel plans were disrupted. They even offered to have our dog stay the night before when we thought we may have had to leave earlier than expected. For pickup, they accommodated us once again, so we could pick up our dog late and then they were available when our time changed. They communicated with us so well the whole time and we are happy to have found a great dog sitter in Lafayette! We will definitely be using them again!”

About: I have had dogs my whole life. I currently have a 10 year old Weimaraner that is very friendly with a lot of energy. I have a huge backyard that is fenced in with plenty of space to run. I have been a dog owner since I was a kid. I work full time, but home in the evenings and weekends. My office is 15 minutes away from home. I work 40 hours a week, but home in the evenings and on the weekends. I can leave your pet in the backyard if the weather is nice. My backyard is fenced in. I have a 90 pound Weimaraner that is great with other dogs. My backyard is very big with plenty of space to play and run.
About: They say that pets/animals know a good person when they see and smell them. There's not a pet home that I walk into and am not greeted with excitement after giving rubs and cuddles. I am currently transitioning to be a stay at home mom, but I would like to continue to help others in need. My days are flexible at this time. Between 8:00m-3:00pm and 4:00pm to 6:00pm on weekdays, I can move outside of the home freely. Times outside of the listed times, I need to be within my home. I havr a 9 year old daughter who is great with animals, and she will not be left with any unsupervised. I have a fenced in back patio and a semi-fenced in back yard. Animals are not allowed to be alone and off the leash if in the backyard exploring. They are free to roam around the patio and home if applicable.
