I wake up around 6:30-8:00 AM most days and get right to work caring for the pets. Everyone is let out in backyard, or leashed up for a walk around the block. Pets are diligently cared for. Usually this consists of at least 3 walks per day, a visit to the park, and plenty of backyard time. I spend all day with the animals, leaving only for a personal errand or visit to the store. Each animal is analyzed carefully & fit into proper schedules according to their personality, levels of energy, and socialization. I provide a secure, fenced-in yard and individual kennels for each pet’s comfort and safety. Dogs start their day around 6:30–8:00 AM with a 10 to 30-minute walk, followed by supervised backyard playtime and snacks. Kennels are used only for rest and feeding—pets spend the majority of their day active, social, and engaged. I tailor care to each pet’s needs, whether that includes frequent park trips, light obedience training, short backyard outings or bathing. My goal is to ensure every animal feels safe, loved, and enriched in a clean, well-maintained environment.

“Allison watched my dog, Jax, for 10 days while I was on a trip out the country. About: I’m an LSU graduate living in Baton Rouge. I volunteered at an animal shelter in New Jersey for 6 years, and for 5 months at CAA in Baton Rouge. I have the animal’s and your best interest involved. I have patience with dogs that need it, but can reinforce behaviors that you’ve already implemented. Because of my full time job, my schedule may vary week to week. Walks, playing, and some grooming are all apart of the service. Large dogs don’t intimidate me since I have a Great Dane Pit mix back home. At the end of the day, my goal is to make the owner and the pet happy with the services provided to and for them every week. I currently travel for work, but am based out of Baron Rouge. I’m available sporadically, but I’m usually available for 1-2 weeks at a time. I currently have 2 cats, no dogs, but grew up with them. About: My first fur baby was a dearly loved a shih tzu, that lived a long, spoiled life. Our current fur baby is the sweetest one-eyed old beagle, Katie, that loves nothing more than a nap. I love being a sitter on Rover, and the past few years have allowed me to meet so many great pets and develop my care taking skills. I have experience giving daily eye drops to my dog for her glaucoma. I also have experience giving dogs & cats insulin shots! With me, your pets will be able to get the medications they need and get plenty of hugs in between! I work full-time Monday - Friday in Baton Rouge. I am home on the weekends in Prairieville. During the business week, I am available for pet visits and after work walks with your fur baby in *Baton Rouge*. During the weekends I have more flexibility for Prairiville or BR availability. I have a large fenced in yard and a friendly, socialized 7 year old beagle. Our pets have always been treated like family and will be welcome on the couch for snuggles, taken out for exercise regularly and shown plenty of attention. We've also had a cat before, and my dog does well with feline friends too.

About: Senior care, puppy care. I can do both! Bonus, if your dog likes to run, so do I! Medications no problem, clipping nails, no problem. I work full time, so I’m available evenings, nights, and weekends. I can house sit certain nights, can do drop ins any day of the week. I have worked with a variety of species. I have no issues with reptiles, rodents, amphibians, cats, and dogs etc. I am passionate about animal care.

About: I've owned pets my entire life. I have personal experience caring for a range of dogs from Mastiffs to chihuahuas. I also own 3 cats. I currently have a flex work schedule the allows me to leave work during the day or early if I need to check on animals! I live in a gated community, with a gated dog park across the street. My balcony is blocked off to prevent cats from jumping off.
