“She was so kind and easy to work with. She gave me a check in update and photos of my pets. She even cleaned up a little for me. 10/10 would highly recommend and will be booking again for future trips!”

“She is amazing!! She took care of boba and updated me all the time. She is very detailed when was taking care of boba and ask many details for my dog. Boba was happy and enjoy the time. I will definitely book with Brijaye!!”

“Katie was amazing from start to finish! Professional, super clean, and our dogs were relaxed and at ease when we got back from our trip. We got oodles of pictures and even more peace of mind with Katie, she’s the best!”

“Danny was a great pet sitter for my Cavi, Finley. We left detailed instructions for feeding, snacks, walks and how Finn does not like being alone. We got nearly daily pictures of Finley, including attending yoga and movie night with Danny and friends! We thought that was great that he took him places as Finn normally goes everywhere with us. We missed our pup so much, but felt so much better Danny was by his side and attentive to him. We highly recommend Danny as a pet and housesitter.”

“We had a great experience with Tenay. She took care of the house and the fur kids with tender love and care!! She went above and beyond when our dopey cat knock a paperweight off a shelf and onto a glass top desk, shattering it in the middle of the night. She made sure the cat and dog were both OK and then offered to clean it all up even though she had nothing to do with it!! We're looking forward to having Tenay back soon.”

“Great sitter! Fast communication and replies! Took amazing care of my fur babies, sending me photos every day and updating me on their status. 100% will (and already have) book her again!”

“Sadie did a fabulous job with my 3 pets. She sent photos and corresponded appropriately. I returned to a spotless house and happy pets. I highly recommend Sadie, and I now feel confident I can leave my pets at home with Sadie when I go on vacation.”

“Lauren was so awesome and friendly, and my dog loved her visits! She gave us lots of updates while she and Rouge played and walked. She was also super flexible about what I needed and times. I will 100% use and recommend her again!”

I wake up around 6:30-8:00 AM most days and get right to work caring for the pets. Everyone is let out in backyard, or leashed up for a walk around the block. Pets are diligently cared for. Usually this consists of at least 3 walks per day, a visit to the park, and plenty of backyard time. I spend all day with the animals, leaving only for a personal errand or visit to the store. Each animal is analyzed carefully & fit into proper schedules according to their personality, levels of energy, and socialization. I provide a secure, fenced-in yard and individual kennels for each pet’s comfort and safety. Dogs start their day around 6:30–8:00 AM with a 10 to 30-minute walk, followed by supervised backyard playtime and snacks. Kennels are used only for rest and feeding—pets spend the majority of their day active, social, and engaged. I tailor care to each pet’s needs, whether that includes frequent park trips, light obedience training, short backyard outings or bathing. My goal is to ensure every animal feels safe, loved, and enriched in a clean, well-maintained environment.

“Allison was amazing with our pups. She responded quickly with anytime we messaged and even sent pictures of them. She left the house tidy and just like we left it. I would definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone. Thank you again!!!”

“Allison watched my dog, Jax, for 10 days while I was on a trip out the country. I was extremely nervous about leaving him for that long for the first time, but Allison was so amazing with him that I was able to enjoy my trip without worrying about if he was okay! She went above and beyond to make him (and me) feel comfortable. Jax is a pretty high anxiety dog and is quite large (75lb pitbull), but he seemed to be totally at ease with her. She left my house very clean and tended to my plants as well! 100% would recommend Allison to even the most anxious of pet parents like myself!”

About: I’m an LSU graduate living in Baton Rouge. I volunteered at an animal shelter in New Jersey for 6 years, and for 5 months at CAA in Baton Rouge. I have the animal’s and your best interest involved. I have patience with dogs that need it, but can reinforce behaviors that you’ve already implemented. Because of my full time job, my schedule may vary week to week. Walks, playing, and some grooming are all apart of the service. Large dogs don’t intimidate me since I have a Great Dane Pit mix back home. At the end of the day, my goal is to make the owner and the pet happy with the services provided to and for them every week. I currently travel for work, but am based out of Baron Rouge. I’m available sporadically, but I’m usually available for 1-2 weeks at a time. I currently have 2 cats, no dogs, but grew up with them. I would prefer to know if pets are to be crated, favorite spots in the house, etc. Your home is your pet’s safe space, so I want to make sure I’m not intruding
“Katelyn was great with our Babybel! We were worried about traveling without her, due to her old age and anxiety, so allowing her to stay at home while we were away gave me such peace of mind. Katelyn spent the weekend at our house with Babybel, and took very good care of her. She also sent multiple pictures letting us know she was a-ok. She kept the house clean, and we definitely recommend her if you’re looking for a good house/dog sitter! We will use her again!”

Old Jefferson pet parents share their Rover experiences
Tessie was one of the best sitters we’ve had from Rover. She was super accommodating to our schedule and needs. She payed close attention to Zoe’s needs and adjusted as needed. She communicated updates and how Zoe was doing and was very responsive to my requests and communications. We will definitely use her again.

Eric did such a great job taking care of our furry, feathery, and fishy pets. The all seemed in good shape when we returned from our trip. Eric kept us well informed each day with texts and pictures. He also was housesitting, and did a great job. We highly recommend him and will request him again if we need Rover service again.
