I currently have a playful 6-month-old kitten, and I also share my apartment with my roommate’s sweet dog—so I’m very used to living with (and loving) both cats and dogs. While I don’t have years of professional pet-sitting under my belt, I do have hands-on experience caring for my own pets, including my kitten and a pet bird I had for several years. I wake up around 6:30-8:00 AM most days and get right to work caring for the pets. Everyone is let out in backyard, or leashed up for a walk around the block. Pets are diligently cared for. Usually this consists of at least 3 walks per day, a visit to the park, and plenty of backyard time. I spend all day with the animals, leaving only for a personal errand or visit to the store. Each animal is analyzed carefully & fit into proper schedules according to their personality, levels of energy, and socialization. I provide a secure, fenced-in yard and individual kennels for each pet’s comfort and safety. Dogs start their day around 6:30–8:00 AM with a 10 to 30-minute walk, followed by supervised backyard playtime and snacks. Kennels are used only for rest and feeding—pets spend the majority of their day active, social, and engaged. I tailor care to each pet’s needs, whether that includes frequent park trips, light obedience training, short backyard outings or bathing. My goal is to ensure every animal feels safe, loved, and enriched in a clean, well-maintained environment.

About: I have taken care of small and large animals since I was very young. I currently work as a vet tech for my full time job, but love to look after people’s fuzzy family members in my free time! I am most free on the weekends or evenings for walks/drop ins/etc, but if you need a service outside of this time, please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate. I believe pets feel most comfortable in their own home, so I enjoy being able to do visits vs care in my home. I think this goes beyond their comfort while resting in their home but also allowing them to go on walk routes they are familiar with.
