About: Hey, it’s Katie, I’ve been taking care of animals since I was born! I’ve professionally dog and cat sat since 2018. The first dog I ever boarded was an elderly blind dog named Daisy. She sparked my love for taking care of other’s animals, it meant so much to me to see Daisy happy and excited to see me come home, even if her human had to go out of town! I have two dogs, two cats, and two birds currently! I have experience caring for puppies, elderly dogs, special needs dogs, and giving daily medications. Munchkin, my forty pound American Foxhound, hates the rain, has separation anxiety, and has epilepsy so he’s medicated daily. I am a full time student with mostly online classes. About: I've owned pets my entire life. I have personal experience caring for a range of dogs from Mastiffs to chihuahuas. I also own 3 cats. I currently have a flex work schedule the allows me to leave work during the day or early if I need to check on animals! I live in a gated community, with a gated dog park across the street. My balcony is blocked off to prevent cats from jumping off.

Usually this consists of at least 3 walks per day, a visit to the park, and plenty of backyard time. I spend all day with the animals, leaving only for a personal errand or visit to the store. Each animal is analyzed carefully & fit into proper schedules according to their personality, levels of energy, and socialization. I provide a secure, fenced-in yard and individual kennels for each pet’s comfort and safety. Dogs start their day around 6:30–8:00 AM with a 10 to 30-minute walk, followed by supervised backyard playtime and snacks. Kennels are used only for rest and feeding—pets spend the majority of their day active, social, and engaged. I tailor care to each pet’s needs, whether that includes frequent park trips, light obedience training, short backyard outings or bathing. About: Senior care, puppy care. I can do both! Bonus, if your dog likes to run, so do I! Medications no problem, clipping nails, no problem.
