Kaylee was such a delight! Shady looked so happy in all the photos she sent me, and she made sure he took all of his allergy meds the whole stay. She kept me informed and updated about him all weekend and I had peace of mind my whole vacation knowing my baby was well taken care of. I will definitely be calling her next time I go out of town!

We had a great experience with Tenay. She took care of the house and the fur kids with tender love and care!! She went above and beyond when our dopey cat knock a paperweight off a shelf and onto a glass top desk, shattering it in the middle of the night. She made sure the cat and dog were both OK and then offered to clean it all up even though she had nothing to do with it!! We're looking forward to having Tenay back soon.

About: Before Rover 👵🏻 I would get recruited as a kid to watch my relatives’ pets while they were away. In college, I would house and pet sit for my boss and coworkers. I have two cats, but have a very soft spot for pups, too. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I’m available for walks during the day/ evening and for house sitting or check ins. I will treat your baby like they’re my own! I know they get sad when you’re away, so I am available for extra love and keeping things as normal as possible.

Danny was a great pet sitter for my Cavi, Finley. We left detailed instructions for feeding, snacks, walks and how Finn does not like being alone. We got nearly daily pictures of Finley, including attending yoga and movie night with Danny and friends! We thought that was great that he took him places as Finn normally goes everywhere with us. We missed our pup so much, but felt so much better Danny was by his side and attentive to him. We highly recommend Danny as a pet and housesitter.

About: I’ve been a pet owner my entire life and have hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of different sizes, ages, and personalities. Through that, I’ve learned how to read animal behavior, provide consistent routines, and make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I’m experienced with daily responsibilities like feeding, walking, cleaning up, playtime, and giving pets the attention they need to stay happy and relaxed. I understand how important it is to be patient and gentle, especially with pets who may be shy, energetic, or need extra care. As a pet owner myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I take that responsibility seriously. I have a flexible schedule and am available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits. I do my best to accommodate different routines, including last-minute bookings when possible. I’m reliable with timing and always make sure pets are cared for consistently and on schedule. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific care needs

About: I’ve cared for and helped train over 1,200 dogs, both personally and through professional dog training work here in Baton Rouge. From energetic puppies to gentle seniors, and from tiny lap dogs to large working breeds, I know how to make every dog feel safe, happy, and stress-free while you’re away. I am confident with strong or reactive dogs. Located in the Coursey / Sherwood area. My Services & Experience Include: -Dog Boarding in a comfortable, clean, climate-controlled home. -Dog Training in Basic Obedience - I can train your puppy or problem child. -High Energy Dogs - I am experienced in making sure they are entertained & exercised, with Jogging, Agility or Puzzles. -"Aggressive" Dogs - I am patient, resilient, & confident around "higher risk" dogs. -Dog Walking & Drop-in Visits, keeping your pup exercised and entertained. -Puppy Care & Potty Training Support. -Senior Dog Care - gentle handling, medication reminders, and mobility assistance. -Grooming & Bathing - I can offer baths, nail trimming, or simple haircuts & shaves. -Experienced Handler - I have worked with over 1200 dogs & I'm quick to learn each dog's wants & needs, ensuring they have exceptional care & stimulation. What Your Dog Can Expect: -A large fenced backyard for safe playtime. -Walks around enclosed private neighborhood. -Park trips (BREC parks) if you approve. -Consistent mental stimulation and affection. -A calm, structured environment tailored to your dog’s needs. -Sleeping in bed with caretaker if vacancy is available. Why Book With Me?: -Years of professional training experience. -Getting to Know Each Dog - Dogs are my hobby, & I take great care in getting to know each animal on a personal level so they receive the best attention possible. -Flexible pick-up & drop-off options - I strive for 24/7 service & response. -3 dogs of my own. Your pup will have friendly, well-socialized company (or solo time if preferred). -Plenty of space for dogs who need their own room, or if they like to socialize, a large social area for all pups to play & run around together. -Constant Supervision- dogs will almost always be heard or seen, as I do this work full-time. -Confident I can meet your pet's needs at a competitive price while receiving the best possible care & socialization needed. Let’s Meet! Send me a message anytime to arrange a meet & greet — I’m happy to make sure you and your pets feel comfortable before booking. I wake up around 6:30-8:00 AM most days and get right to work caring for the pets. Everyone is let out in backyard, or leashed up for a walk around the block. Pets are diligently cared for. Usually this consists of at least 3 walks per day, a visit to the park, and plenty of backyard time. I spend all day with the animals, leaving only for a personal errand or visit to the store. Each animal is analyzed carefully & fit into proper schedules according to their personality, levels of energy, and socialization. I provide a secure, fenced-in yard and individual kennels for each pet’s comfort and safety. Dogs start their day around 6:30–8:00 AM with a 10 to 30-minute walk, followed by supervised backyard playtime and snacks. Kennels are used only for rest and feeding—pets spend the majority of their day active, social, and engaged. I tailor care to each pet’s needs, whether that includes frequent park trips, light obedience training, short backyard outings or bathing. My goal is to ensure every animal feels safe, loved, and enriched in a clean, well-maintained environment.

Katelyn was great with our Babybel! We were worried about traveling without her, due to her old age and anxiety, so allowing her to stay at home while we were away gave me such peace of mind. Katelyn spent the weekend at our house with Babybel, and took very good care of her. She also sent multiple pictures letting us know she was a-ok. She kept the house clean, and we definitely recommend her if you’re looking for a good house/dog sitter! We will use her again!

About: My first fur baby was a dearly loved a shih tzu, that lived a long, spoiled life. Our current fur baby is the sweetest one-eyed old beagle, Katie, that loves nothing more than a nap. I love being a sitter on Rover, and the past few years have allowed me to meet so many great pets and develop my care taking skills. I have experience giving daily eye drops to my dog for her glaucoma. I also have experience giving dogs & cats insulin shots! With me, your pets will be able to get the medications they need and get plenty of hugs in between! I work full-time Monday - Friday in Baton Rouge. I am home on the weekends in Prairieville. During the business week, I am available for pet visits and after work walks with your fur baby in *Baton Rouge*. During the weekends I have more flexibility for Prairiville or BR availability. I have a large fenced in yard and a friendly, socialized 7 year old beagle. Our pets have always been treated like family and will be welcome on the couch for snuggles, taken out for exercise regularly and shown plenty of attention. We've also had a cat before, and my dog does well with feline friends too.

Freddie was very sweet and open to all my communications about my dogs' various quirks and personality traits. When my dog injured himself the night before her stay, she took all of his care instructions in stride. When I arrived home, both dogs were just as happy and healthy as ever.
