About: Before Rover 👵🏻 I would get recruited as a kid to watch my relatives’ pets while they were away. In college, I would house and pet sit for my boss and coworkers. I have two cats, but have a very soft spot for pups, too. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I’m available for walks during the day/ evening and for house sitting or check ins. I wake up around 6:30-8:00 AM most days and get right to work caring for the pets. Everyone is let out in backyard, or leashed up for a walk around the block. Pets are diligently cared for. Usually this consists of at least 3 walks per day, a visit to the park, and plenty of backyard time. I spend all day with the animals, leaving only for a personal errand or visit to the store. Each animal is analyzed carefully & fit into proper schedules according to their personality, levels of energy, and socialization. I provide a secure, fenced-in yard and individual kennels for each pet’s comfort and safety. Dogs start their day around 6:30–8:00 AM with a 10 to 30-minute walk, followed by supervised backyard playtime and snacks. Kennels are used only for rest and feeding—pets spend the majority of their day active, social, and engaged. I tailor care to each pet’s needs, whether that includes frequent park trips, light obedience training, short backyard outings or bathing. My goal is to ensure every animal feels safe, loved, and enriched in a clean, well-maintained environment.

About: My first fur baby was a dearly loved a shih tzu, that lived a long, spoiled life. Our current fur baby is the sweetest one-eyed old beagle, Katie, that loves nothing more than a nap. I love being a sitter on Rover, and the past few years have allowed me to meet so many great pets and develop my care taking skills. I have experience giving daily eye drops to my dog for her glaucoma. I also have experience giving dogs & cats insulin shots! With me, your pets will be able to get the medications they need and get plenty of hugs in between! I work full-time Monday - Friday in Baton Rouge. I am home on the weekends in Prairieville. During the business week, I am available for pet visits and after work walks with your fur baby in *Baton Rouge*. During the weekends I have more flexibility for Prairiville or BR availability. I have a large fenced in yard and a friendly, socialized 7 year old beagle. Our pets have always been treated like family and will be welcome on the couch for snuggles, taken out for exercise regularly and shown plenty of attention. We've also had a cat before, and my dog does well with feline friends too.
