I have a very flexible schedule around my summer and school schedule as I am available during the day and nights to check on and care for your animals. I have all the accommodations for a your animals, a large backyard and big enough car to travel in as well. And access to dog parks as well.

“Mikayla stayed with our 2 dogs and 2 cats for a long weekend. She came over twice before the wkend to learn about the house and pets. Communication was easy and fast before and during the stay. The most challenging job at our house is bringing the cats in at night which she conquered. She asked good questions and did a good job. We will definitely hire Mikayla again!”

About: I've owned pets my entire life. I have personal experience caring for a range of dogs from Mastiffs to chihuahuas. I also own 3 cats. I currently have a flex work schedule the allows me to leave work during the day or early if I need to check on animals! I live in a gated community, with a gated dog park across the street. My balcony is blocked off to prevent cats from jumping off.

About: I’ve had a dog in the house since I was 5 years old. I worked at a vet clinic for 2 years as a boarder before I permanently moved to Baton Rouge. I go to LSU and major in animal science. I have medicated and taken care of anxious/aggressive dogs. I am patient, gentle, and I take account that each pet is a family member to each owner. I am currently enrolled at LSU majoring in Animal science. I have wanted to foster or get a pet of my own since moving here but I have not been able to, so I decided to make my side hustle helping others with the things I love to do. I am available on weekdays and most weekends. Just message me ahead of time for weekends! I am easygoing and easy to communicate with. I have a fenced little yard and I enjoy walking around my gated neighborhood, so I will do so with your pet. I follow instructions well, I am aware each pet is different and have their own personality. I’m slow and a quick learner, since I have handled hundreds different dogs for a handful of years. If I am ever confused on an instruction my first instinct is to contact you to make sure and not just “assume”.

“Freddie was very sweet and open to all my communications about my dogs' various quirks and personality traits. When my dog injured himself the night before her stay, she took all of his care instructions in stride. When I arrived home, both dogs were just as happy and healthy as ever.”
