I’ve recently started a full-time position, which has me in the office Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Because of this, I am currently available for dog walking or drop-in visits: - Anytime before 7:30 AM - Anytime after 5:00 PM I’m also still available for house sitting, provided that your home is within close proximity to my workplace, allowing me to stop by during my lunch break to check in on your pets if needed. *Please disregard work proximity concerns if your booking a weekend house sitting or your pet/s are able to be left unattended during my work hours.

I treat every animal as if they were my own—providing love, attention, and playtime in addition to their basic needs. I’m attentive to details like feeding schedules, medications, and exercise, and I always keep your home secure and tidy. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your pets are not only well cared for, but also happy and loved while you’re away.

To provide the best possible care, I like to know a few key details about your pet ahead of time: - Potty Routine: Due to my full-time work schedule, I may not be available for midday potty breaks unless your home is close to my workplace. If your dog requires a midday visit, please let me know in advance so I can confirm if I’m able to accommodate this on my lunch break. - Feeding Schedule & Dietary Needs: Please share when and how much your pet eats, and if there are any allergies or special dietary instructions I should know. - Behavior & Temperament: How does your pet react to new people, other animals, or being left alone? Are there any triggers, fears, or behavioral quirks I should be aware of? - Crate Use or Free Roam: Do they stay in a crate while you're away, or are they allowed to roam freely in the home? - Medications or Health Concerns: If your pet takes any medications or has specific health needs, please provide clear instructions. The more I know, the better I can ensure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away!

I always meet pets at their level! If they want to cuddle and relax, I’ll be their cozy companion. If they’re full of energy and want to play, we’ll head outside for fetch, tug-of-war, or a fun walk until they’re ready to wind down. Whether it’s quiet time or playtime, I make sure each pet feels loved, comfortable, and engaged in whatever makes them happiest.

I’ve cared for animals my whole life and officially began pet sitting while attending LSU. Over the years, I’ve gained experience working with dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and sizes. I’ve cared for cats with severe asthma, ensuring they received their breathing treatments and medications on time, as well as high-energy dogs who needed plenty of exercise to match their active lifestyle. I’m also attentive to dietary needs and follow owners’ instructions closely so every pet stays on their routine. What sets me apart is my reliability, compassion, and ability to handle pets with special medical or behavioral needs. Whether it’s administering medication, keeping up with an energetic pup, or simply providing a calm and loving presence, I make sure each pet feels safe, happy, and cared for, just as if they were my own.

Brijaye showed up on time every day (weekday, weekend and holiday) and took great care of my 3 cats. I even saw them waiting by the door for her to arrive in the morning. She sent several pics each day and a little note about each one's behaviors (eating, hiding, etc). I highly recommend her and will definitely will plan to use her services again!
