About: I’ve had the privilege of making animal care my life for the past 30+ years. I’ve worked at 2 zoos, a wildlife preserve and now I pet sit full time. I love meeting new pets and their parents. My main priority is ensuring your animal is comfortable and safe while you’re away. I strive to give peace of mind to any worried pet parents. 😊 My favorite activities with your Furkid include enrichment with toys, fetching, dispensing treats and rubbing backs and bellies. I can medicate, give insulin and prepare special diets. I’m also trained in animal first aid and I excel at following directions. Animal care is all I do. I can do daily walks/visits up to 3 times a day. I’m also available for house sitting and overnights. I have a number of clients in the Baton Rouge area with different pet care needs and I make my own schedule. I stick to their usual daily routine or follow whatever instructions are left. I like to keep a consistent visit/feeding/potty time. I have a lot of patience and will encourage your pet to socialize with me. We can do whatever they like, play with toys, take walks, eat treats, rub backs or just sit together. I also water plants, check mail/paper and keep a general an eye on things.

About: I have cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds since I can remember. I grew up with at least 3-4 dogs in my household at all times, volunteered at the local animal shelter to help take care of the overflow of dogs, fostered a litter of puppies, and of course the occasional dog sitting for a neighbor or family friend. I am currently working 2 part time jobs at the moment, but they usually include short days and hours. I am mostly available from mid afternoon to nighttime on any given day, especially weekends! Schedule is subject to change weekly. I have a big kennel in my home if it’s ever needed. I also have plenty of toys, treats, and other equipment like poop bags, leashes, or harnesses.

About: Have resided with small dogs such as yorkies up to large dogs such as cane corsos. Have also worked with K9s during my time spent working in airport cargo Im currently unemployed so my schedule is very flexible when it comes to my daily/weekly routine. Pet care is my #1 source of employment. I have a full sized car available for outings. I clean up well behind myself & respect other peoples space & boundaries. About: Pets are more than just animals. They are part of our families and deserv to be spoiled and loved since they are only with us for a short time. I do transports for rescues as often as possible to help as many as possible to find loving homes. I currently have two dogs and between jobs so my availabilty is pretty open. I can't do overnight/house sit because of my two boys, but can check in and visit anytime. I'm available for walks and house visits, but can't do overnights. I can check or visit at any time though. I treat all animals as good, if not better than my own. I appreciate their various personalites and quirks. One of mine is reactive towards mainly men and other dogs, so I understand some need special attention that others may not. They are all unique individuals.

Living with dogs of every size and energy level has taught me how to read body language, manage different personalities, and meet each dog's individual needs. I'm comfortable handling large and giant breeds, and I know that a dog who doesn't get enough exercise can turn into a very create (and destructive) dog. Active pups get the long walks (or runs), play sessions, and mental stimulation they need, and I plan outings around Louisiana's heat, with early mornings and evenings in the summer, so everyone stays safe and comfortable. What your pup can expect: Daily walks and vigorous playtime, tailed to your dog's energy level. Feeding and medication on your schedule. Photo and video updates so you can see the fun. A calm, dog savvy home or drop-ins. Patience, consistency, and a lot of love. I am able to tend to your pets before I go to work, during my break, and after I get off of work. I also have full availability on weekends. I care for pets in my home based on the differing needs of each pet. I previously had a dog that had diabetes and required insulin twice a day, as well as another dog I found that had severe heart worms and required daily medication, so I am comfortable giving your pets their needed medication.
