“Lauren and Cody are amazing! They work hard to make your pup feel like a member of their family. Great communication and super sweet! Can’t thank them enough for taking such great care of my baby girl!”

“This was our second time boarding with Jason, with two days of daycare prior. As usual Mojo was well taken care of 😊 Pictures were sent which is awesome! For me to be able to see a daily picture made me feel at ease to see that Mojo was happy. Thank you Jason!”

“She was amazing! She sent me pictures of her and my fur baby and my Diamond started getting attached to her! She kept me updated the entire 4 days and I will definitely be returning if I need care again. I was nervous because it was my JRT's 1st time boarding but she made it super fun and relaxing for her! Thank you so much”

About: I grew up with a Yorkie and now care for him in his senior years with doggy dementia, which has taught me the importance of patience, gentle routines, and creating a calm, comforting environment. Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays I get out of class for 11 and am free for the rest of the day. Tuesdays and Thursdays are a little tougher for me due to my classes being scattered throughout the day. I enjoy taking them on walks, giving them baths, playing with them, cuddling with them, feeding and taking them out, and just having an emotional support animal around me!
“Nicholas was great with my cat Mika. This was my first time leaving her with someone for a long period of time, and it couldn’t have been with anyone better. Nicholas was very timely with his responses and he took great care of her. Will be coming back in the future, thank you!!”

“By far the best pet sitter I have ever had! Would recommend to any and everyone. Beetlejuice didn’t want to leave. Wonderful family and pups got along with him so well!”

“Literally amazing! So kind and amazing to my doggo! She sent me daily updates from pictures to videos which I just loved! This was my first time leaving my baby with someone & Im so thankful/blessed to have met her! I cannot wait to go on another trip & book her! ?❤️”

“Bailey was great with Oliver. She answered all my questions during the meet & greet and she provided updates for him as well as photos. I was very happy to not worry about him while I was away.”

“This was my first experience with leaving my Olive Oyl and Johanna made it easy for me. She was very assuring and took real good care of her, sent picture and messages to help comfort me. Knowing she was in good hands made the whole situation easier. I would definitely leave her with Johanna any time. Only issue was I’m not sure Olive Oyl was ready to come home she liked it so well. Thanks Johanna”

“Bradley graciously accepted a short notice booking for our dog Ghost. He was very communicative and responsive leading up to and throughout the boarding stay. Bradley’s dog Beaux is very sweet, gentle & got along well with Ghost. We 100% recommend Bradley for boarding.”

“Emery was excellent! Exactly what I needed. I hired her to take my dog, Bella, to the daycare and walls while I was away on vacation for a week. She was flexible, punctual, communicated regularly, with a positive attitude. Bella responded well to her. I always felt she was safe and in good hands. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate on the daily walks, but that is not her fault. She did the best she could under the circumstances. I can confidently recommend her and will use her services again in the future.”

“Alayja truly exceeded my expectations. Despite the short notice, she provided exceptional care for my dog, treating him as if he were her own. Her attention to detail and genuine love for animals put me at ease. I am incredibly grateful for her outstanding service and will definitely be booking with her again in the future.”

“Michael is my go-to dog sitter. He is a wonderful caretaker. He sends pictures and videos with his regular updates. My dog gets so excited whenever he sees Michael. It is such an assurance to know that our sweet boy is getting so much love and such great care while we are away. I HIGHLY recommend Michael. I'm sure that you will be as happy with him as we have been.”

“I took way to long to leave this review, Mark was super helpful and accommodating watching my pups last minute. He texted me and kept me updated so we could work out a pickup time, and was very kind!”

“Jordan did a great job taking care of my 4 kitties and feeding them twice a day + litter scooping. She followed all my instructions perfectly and sent informative notes and photos after every visit. She's a very busy lady, so a somewhat flexible time-schedule from the pet owner would probably be the best fit, i.e. "morning" instead of 8am on the dot. I really appreciated her help!”

“Katie was amazing! She provided such a detailed update about the visit, sent several photos, and let me know everything the dogs did while she was there. I really appreciated how thoughtful and caring she was noticing little things! 🥹 It gave me so much peace of mind knowing Aurora and Nala were in such great hands. I absolutely loved her service and will definitely continue booking with her. Highly recommend!”

“Yuli was beyond amazing! Communicative, reliable, and super friendly. She let me know about any concerns going on at home as well as sent pictures and updates abt my baby. Couldn’t recommend more!!! Book her!”

About: I've had cats as pets throughout my life, including ones who needed shots for diabetes. I have lots of experience with cats having volunteered at a local animal shelter, worked at the Vet school and Cat Haven (not as tech). I will play and pet them so they feel loved while you are gone. I am comfortable with other pets - I've also had dogs, birds, turtles, hamsters, etc.

About: As someone who has worked with a variety of domesticated felines, I’ve learned that the last thing a cat wants is a sitter. Lol. Most just want someone who can scoop their box and open their can of food. I’m a professional in that area. I’m also good at reading kitty behavioral cues. I can usually tell if a feline is going to be my friend or not. I know when to give them their space. I’ve watched kitties who are social and some that are shy. I’m pretty good with a laser and always enjoy playing with or sitting with a sweet cat or cats. I can also prepare special diets and give insulin shots. The Kitties always train me well!
About: I worked as a shift lead at a doggy daycare called Dogtopia for almost 4 years. I have received training on how to deal with different breeds of dogs. I have worked with a variety of breeds, ages, and sizes and have a lot of experience in training behavior. I have also dealt with up to 30 dogs in one day care room during solo shifts. I have owned a dog for 12 years back at my house in Virginia, and currently do not live with him. I am also very organized and reliable. I will always be on time or early to appointments! I currently work full-time from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. I am available to host overnight dogs and can provide walks or drop-in visits before and after my work hours. I also have greater availability on evenings and weekends, allowing me to provide reliable and attentive care for your pets. I am also available most weekends. I am very friendly with new animals and am able to learn their behaviors quickly. I am not harsh when trying to correct their behavior, but will make sure they don’t try to misbehave.

About: I have had 2 cats for about couple years now! I rescued them from a shelter in Illinois, where I used to live. I truly adore them and am very engrossed in their diets and enrichment. I have found their favorite ways to play and even take them outside on walks when it’s nice out! I am in school to be a veterinary technician, so I am very familiar with administering medication and taking care of kittens and seniors, as well as cats with disabilities and health issues!

“Awesome as ever. Kacey watched out two cats while we were gone for 10 days. She’s super reliable, respectful of the house, gives great communication and is great with the cats. Will keep rebooking!”

About: I’ve been caring for cats my entire life, both indoor and outdoor. I love and have fun creating enrichment activities that your cat will love, too. My own kitty has special needs that require medication, so I’m comfortable with giving both pills and inhaler meds! If your cat has been properly exposed to it, I can trim nails too. My experience with kitties ranges from 6 weeks - end of life care; I’m here for everyone!

“Kaitlyn was fantastic! She asked a bunch of questions early on to understand my dog's needs and kept me informed of concerns that came up during the drop-in visits. I highly recommend her as a sitter, especially if you have a large breed dog. I will definitely schedule her for future drop-ins.”

“Katriana was attentive, caring and punctual. She took amazing care of my fur babies and went above and beyond giving them extra love and attention. I loved the pictures giving extra peace of mind knowing they were in good hands while we were gone. We will definitely use her again! Great job and thank you ❤️”

About: I’m a vet tech student with a deep passion for animals. I am willing to accommodate a vast variety of pets in all breeds and sizes! I’m currently available part time because of school. I guarantee your pet will love being in my company as much as I will love being in theirs.

“I have never used a dog sitting service before so I was very nervous but Jennifer made me feel very comfortable leaving my puppy with her & he had a great time! He came home well taken care of & worn out, which was awesome. Already planning to use her services again!”

“Robin was wonderful! So responsive and communicative. I have never used a dog sitter before but I felt very comfortable leaving my puppy with Robin in her home. She sent photo updates frequently and sent my puppy home with some goodies. We loved Robin!”

About: I love dogs, and have been around them since I was a baby. I’ve taken care of puppies, old dogs, big dogs, and all other kinds. Corgis are the greatest dog in the world, prove me wrong with yours. Currently in school at LSU graduating in December, and I am free to tend to your dog any time of day for you. I only have 1 class to schedule around so no issues there! Have a nice big yard completely fenced in, in a nice quiet neighborhood in the middle of BR. Welcome to kennel or let your dog roam free as needed.
About: I have owned and lived with dogs and cats my whole life. I have 3 fur babies who are spoiled and well-loved, Mylo the Siberian Husky (2 years old), Lily the sweet mix breed rescue (6 years old), and Baxter the Dachshund Beagle rescue (7 years old) and 1 fur nephew, Rufus the Corgi (3 years old) who frequently stays with his cousins and auntie to play. We love the dog park, long walks (Mylo especially), and couch snuggles/naps. They enjoy chasing each other in the backyard and to birdwatch/neighborhood watch from the living room windows. I have experience with many breeds and all ages. Having two rescues myself I am also comfortable with rescue dogs who may need more time to warm up and trust you. I also love cats and have always had one-I just don’t currently have one. Fur babies aren’t just pets-they are family. I work from home with a very flexible schedule. I am available for walks, drop ins, and boarding any day of the week or weekend. I can come to you! I have a fenced yard and 3 fur babies who are dog friendly and love to play! I am happy to use crates if that is preferred. While I don’t mind your dog staying here with us, I am also able to come to your dog in your home if that is more comfortable.
“Jason was great with Bowie! So glad we were able to find him in a pinch. Jason kept in great communication with us, and it was clear Bowie really enjoyed his stay.”

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was 5 years old, and I also have a dog of my own (Millie:)) and my Shih Tzu baby Rico I’ve helped cared for back home. I give the same care , love , patience and attentiveness to every dog ! As I know it is important for your dog to feel safe and secure away from your home 💕 Since I do have a dog of my own , the necessities are apart of my everyday routine! I am in college full time however I am free everyday after 1pm . (Tuesdays , Thursdays and the weekend I am free all day:)) I am also very flexible so please don’t hesitate to ask questions ! Please note that I can not host more than one dog at a time due to me being a smaller space. Your fur baby will feel very comfy here ! My girl Millie has adapted to our relaxed routine which involves her feeding and bathroom schedule along play time and cuddles . We take trips to the public dog park as well as my apartment one. We also have plenty of play time inside . The same goes for your baby!

“Lauren has a nice house and good sized back yard to accommodate her Rover dogs. This is our first time using Lauren. She and her daughter made Meryl feel comfortable and showered her with attention and affection. Lauren had great communication with us. We had a meeting to introduce Meryl to them day before our dog sitting appointment that went very well. We want to use Lauren again soon for boarding. I highly recommend her for your dog.”

About: My family and I have always had multiple dogs raised from puppies to full grown dogs that I helped to care for. This includes walking, bathing, feeding, playing fetch, trimming nails and taking them to the vet. I have also taken care of our farm animals daily needs. I work part time and my day to day schedule is very flexible. I am open to same day sitting jobs if needed. I am available to take dog to the vet as well. I have one friendly dog that loves furry company. I can accommodate needs of sitting location, depending on client’s preference. I have toys, crates, treats and dog beds to ensure comfort and needs are met.
“My dog absolutely loved him. He was anxious the first day but Keith really helped him get comfortable and by the third day he was happily running inside, not sparing me a second glance. Would 100% have Keith watch my dog again.”

About: I’ve been a dog dad for 6+ years and have taken care of pets for neighbors, teachers, and friends for years, from walking and feeding to live-in care. I’m a college instructor on break between semesters so my schedule is flexible with lots of availability for all your pet care needs, whether one time walking or in home stays. I have a friendly corgi named Rufus who loves other dogs and we live in a house near the Garden District with an unfenced yard where I walk him around the neighborhood twice daily.
About: As a pet owner myself, I have experience with how to keep feeding routines, administer meds, walks, playtime, potty breaks, grooming and recognizing when something isn’t quite right. I’ll also provide regular updates and photos, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. I’m currently working remotely and part time. This leaves me plenty of time to care for pets on weekdays and weekends, throughout the day. Early mornings and late evenings are no problem. We have a private fenced in yard for those that need ample activity. Pets are cared for in the home but also have their own room for when they need a quiet corner.
About: I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. Growing up with pets taught me responsibility, patience, and the joy that comes from truly understanding an animal’s needs. As an adult, I’ve continued that commitment through responsible pet ownership, giving my own pets a loving, structured, and enriching home. My foundation in animal care goes even deeper thanks to my years in 4‑H, where I gained hands‑on experience in dog husbandry. From training and grooming to understanding canine behavior and proper health routines, 4‑H gave me practical skills that I still use every day. It shaped the way I approach pet care—with intention, respect, and a focus on safety and well‑being. Whether it’s daily walks, structured play, or simply offering a calm, comforting presence, I bring a lifetime of experience and genuine love for animals to every pet I care for. Your dog isn’t just another booking to me—they’re a member of the family, and I treat them with the same attention and affection I give my own. Working from home allows me to build pet care into the rhythm of my day in a way that feels effortless and intentional. Mornings start with a quick check‑in, fresh water, and a walk to get everyone moving. Throughout the workday, I’m able to offer consistent companionship — whether that’s a midday potty break, a play session between meetings, or simply being a calm presence while I work. I can keep an eye on their behavior, maintain feeding schedules, and respond quickly to their needs. Afternoon breaks often turn into enrichment time: a walk, a puzzle toy, or a little training practice to keep their minds engaged. Even as I wrap up my workday, pets stay part of the flow — evening walks, dinner routines, and plenty of attention. Working from home means your pet gets steady care, structure, and affection woven naturally into my day, not squeezed in around it. I have a fenced yard and 2 friendly dogs (74 lb. silver lab + 35 lb. terrier mix). My goal is to keep your pets routine consistent while providing a clean, safe and calm environment. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal rhythm. I follow your feeding, walking, and medication schedules exactly as you outline, and I make sure they get the same level of attention and affection they’re used to. I also keep your home tidy, respect your space, and provide updates so you always know how your pet is doing.
“JC was great! Very organized and communicative. We loved getting all the updates throughout the day and had no doubt that our pet was being well cared for. Will definitely book again if we come to Baton Rouge again!”

“Anika clearly cares so much about dogs. Before booking my dog in for daycare, she wanted to meet with us to see if our dogs were a good fit together. I really appreciated her taking the time to do that, because my dog is extremely playful and energetic and not all dogs can handle that! Knowing about a bad previous experience I had with a sitter, I feel like she took extra care to send me updates and pictures of Kaju to put me at ease. She went above and beyond in his care- taking him for walks, letting him play with her dog in the yard, and feeding him on time. I trust her completely to care for Kaju, and I know he trusts her too because he was able to take naps at her place (something that he is not always able to do due to trust issues). Anika is an exemplary dog sitter and we will be returning regularly!”

About: Hi! I can’t wait to be introduced to your furry friends. After many years of looking after my family and friends’ pets, I’m well prepared for various types of pet personalities. I began pet sitting on Rover in 2021, but took a break after moving and life events. I’m thrilled to get started again! I have two pets of my own: a cat named Kitty and a mini dachshund named Benji. I take pride in my love for animals and I’m excited to begin working with you to provide your furry friends a safe and loving human to look after them😊 I’m currently working remotely as an Actuarial Analyst. I can provide thorough care throughout the day at my home, or visit/drop-in to your home before work, after work, or on my lunch break. I also would be able to work from your home if that works best for you! :) I’m able to adapt to any routine requested. At my home, I have a fenced in yard that my dog, Benji, loves to sunbathe in throughout the day! I do have a friendly cat, but he’s very shy and will stay in one of his numerous hiding spots or his gated, out-of-reach area when strangers come over. At your home, I will be very respectful of your area and remain focused on your furry friends’ needs.
About: I’ve fallen in love with ALL animals since I was a kid. Since then i’ve watched all sizes and breeds of dogs with all sorts of different personalities and has loved every single moment of it! I am currently unemployed and looking to start into the pet care business. I can sit and board at all times and any days as needed. If allowed I would absolutely love to take them to a local dog park to socialize with more dogs. I also have one friendly kitten and one senior pup!

“Annabel is a fantastic dog walker! She is always punctual, reliable, and very easy to work with. She’s incredibly caring and sweet with my dog, and it’s clear that she genuinely loves and understands animals. She’s attentive, patient, communicative, and makes me feel completely comfortable knowing my dog is in good hands. I really appreciate how dependable she is and the care and attention she gives on every walk. I would absolutely recommend Annabel to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker!”

About: I’ve pet sat for friends and family for years and have been walking neighbors’ dogs for a few months. I have a large dog myself so I can be relied on to walk and care for large dogs. I currently keep a neighbor’s dog for doggy daycare about 2-3 hours during the day. They LOVE to play with each other and I have plenty of enrichment toys and treats to keep them occupied. I currently keep a dog for doggy daycare from 12:00-2:00 on weekdays, but my schedule is flexible. I am available during weekdays for walks and check ins from 8:00 am-6:00 pm. I am also available for weekday and weekend boarding and house sitting. I have a fenced in backyard and a fairly open floor plan offering a lot of play space. My dog and the dog I keep during the day are both very sweet but can be quite rambunctious at times. They are both well trained and very friendly with people and other dogs. Before moving to Baton Rouge, I used to own my own business cleaning houses and have a lot of experience working in other people’s homes. I understand how difficult it can be letting someone new into your home, especially when you may not be there. I am a great communicator, very trustworthy, and have a flexible schedule. I often send pictures or videos of pets to keep you updated and let you know your fur baby is safe and happy!

“Lori is the best! I love hearing from her while I’m at work about her walks and playtime with my dog. I only needed her for a few weeks but she was reliable and really connected with my dog during that time. No complaints here - would highly recommend!”

About: Hi! My name is Jason and have taken care of either my own dog or my neighbor's dogs ever since I was 10 years old. While I don't have a fenced in yard, I live right on my neighborhood's greenspace, my neighborhood has sidewalks and lakes for great long walks, and I live 5 minutes away from the dog park. I love to take dogs on walks, play fetch, and tug of war. I also enjoy being a couch potato if your dog is more laid back. I have the ability to either work from my home or from my office. When watching a dog, I can be home all day, or if the dog is able, I can only work a half day at the office and the rest from the house. Either way, your loved one won't be alone for more than 4 hours if they are able. If not, no worries, I enjoy working from home! I'm a single guy with no kids, so it's just me at the house which allows me to give your pet all the attention it needs. While I don't have a fenced in yard, I live right on my neighborhood's giant greenspace, my neighborhood has sidewalks and two lakes for great long walks, and I live 5 minutes away from the dog park. I'm an athletic guy, so if your pup needs to be active and enjoys playing and running, I'm your guy! I also enjoy being a couch potato if your dog is more laid back.
About: I am currently getting my PhD in Animal Science! Aside from study animals for a living, I have 5+ years of commercial care experience with small and large animals. Raised by a dog trainer and breeder for a mom, I grew up with many types of animals, including exotics like geckos and hamsters. I currently have two cats, Willow and Clover. I can’t wait to meet your pets! It is already a part of my daily routine to care for my own pets so I don’t mind a couple more! I work full time but my schedule is super flexible. I am generally available on weekends as well. I offer services like cat sitting, dog sitting, dog walking, horse chores, and can care for exotic pets as well. My own pets health and safety are my top priority, and I always ensure the same for my clients.
About: I am an animal obsessed graduate looking to fill my free time taking care of pets while I am on the hunt for a job. I’ve had my fair share of caring for dogs of all sizes and cats too! My pets are my family, and I will treat yours with the same respect. I know you want your pets left in the best care while you are away, so I am able to come do a meet and greet if preferred! Fun fact: I just went through a training program on how to better understand dog body language when they interact with other dogs and how to handle emergency situations when they arise! I am currently working part time and taking a couple courses for my Master's degree, so I have plenty of time (and energy) to care for your lovely pet. When I house sit, I will have to leave for a few hours a day for either class or work, but will spend ample time with your four-legged friend! In your home, full respect will be given to both your pets and your home. Walks and drop ins will not be spent browsing my phone, your four-legged friend has my full attention! Drop in visits can be tailored to the needs of your pet, and walks can be as active as your pup likes (I like to get those steps in). If your pup has decent leash manners and would like to take a run, I can provide that as well.

“Jada has walked and kept Duke on multiple occasions. I never have to worry when he is with her as I know she will take great care of him. He also loves to play with her dog, Balto!”

I like to follow your schedule and routine as close as possible. I want to ensure your pet is comfortable and feels as if nothing has changed. (minus a new person in the house)
About: I have owned dogs my whole life! Nothing gives me more joy than loving on our furry friends! They truly are man’s best friend and especially mine! My husband works from home and I am fully devoted to caring for our pups and yours! We are true dog lovers and will spend our days loving on your fur babies as if they were (and along with) our own! We have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur babies company. However, we can crate your pups or ours if needed as well. Our dogs love to play but if yours don’t, we can accommodate to keep them safe.
About: I’m a vet tech student with a deep passion for animals. I am willing to accommodate a vast variety of pets in all breeds and sizes! I’m currently available part time because of school. I guarantee your pet will love being in my company as much as I will love being in theirs. Im a full time student so I have classes in the morning Monday-Thursday other than that your baby is most like to be hanging out with me watching tv or riding around the city. My yard has a fenced backyard for day time play and they will sleep in a pet crate at night. Playtime is supervised to make sure all the babies play nice!

“Lauren and Cody are amazing! They work hard to make your pup feel like a member of their family. Great communication and super sweet! Can’t thank them enough for taking such great care of my baby girl!”

“I took way to long to leave this review, Mark was super helpful and accommodating watching my pups last minute. He texted me and kept me updated so we could work out a pickup time, and was very kind!”

“Sox loved his time with Christy. She was great! I never worried about whether Sox was in good hands as Christy sent updates with pictures throughout his stay. Definitely recommend Christy and will be booking again in the future.”

“Robin is amazing!! My Oso instantly loved her and ran right into her home, I felt very comfortable leaving him with her. She had so many toys for him to play with and even sent us home with a couple! You can tell she is an animal lover and will care for your dog as her own! Absolutely recommend & will be contacting her for dog sitting in the future.”

“Keith was amazing! We were at ease leaving our babies as he was extremely professional and had been in the industry for a while. He is also flexible and affordable! Can’t recommend him enough and we’ll definitely be back when we’re in town.”

“This was our dog’s 2nd stay with Amanda. As soon as I dropped her off at Amanda’s house, I could tell Marley remembered being there and was excited to be back! Amanda sends frequent updates and pictures, which really helped us not to worry about our baby while we were away. Will definitely book with her again in the future!”

“Savannah is the best. She really takes great care of my dog. She’s everything to me. My dog’s always so happy when she comes home and that means a lot to me I couldn’t ask for a better sitter or someone to leave my dog with when I’m away, she is by far the best in my eyes”

“Elise was very professional yet warm and kind. I think our lab may have not wanted to come back home. I will definitely recommend Elise to anyone looking to get their best friend back in better condition than they were left. Will use here again in the future if she is available.”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for a variety of dogs through my previous work assisting a sitter on Rover. During that time, I helped with daily walks, feeding routines, playtime, and making sure each dog felt safe and comfortable in their environment. I worked with different breeds, sizes, and personalities, which taught me how to adjust my care to meet each animal's unique needs. I understand how important consistency, patience, and attention are when it comes to animals. Whether it's an energetic pup that needs extra playtime or a more relaxed dog that just wants companionship, I make sure they receive the care and affection they deserve. I'm also comfortable following specific instructions, including feeding schedules, medication, and any special care requests. My goal is always to create a calm, loving, and trustworthy environment so pets feel secure while their owners are away. I treat every animal as if they were my own and prioritize their happiness, safety, and well-being at all times. As a college student with a very flexible schedule, I'm able to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care throughout the day. My availability allows me to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and extended stays without feeling rushed. Because of this flexibility, I can adjust to your pet's routine and make sure they get consistent care, attention, and companionship whenever they need it. 1 understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet and your home, and I take that responsibility very seriously. I always prioritize safety by staying attentive, following instructions carefully, and making sure pets are secure and comfortable in their environment. You can count on me to provide dependable, respectful care while giving your pet the love and attention they deserve.
