About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life but just recently lost my dog to cancer. I would love to give some of my love and time to other peoples pets with the extra time I have now without him around to walk and cuddle. I have had experience taking care of new born pups as well as senior dogs, small and large! I was also raised with cats and had a cat of my own. I have experience taking care of parrots, snakes, chickens, and turtles!! I currently have 4 chickens. I’ve cared for friends and family’s pets staying at their home and doing daily walks/check-ins. I am professional and reliable and love all animals! ❤️ I work part time and I am a student at LSU. I have a flexible schedule and I am around the home a lot. I have a fenced in back yard and a great neighborhood to walk in! On the weekends I am home mostly doing homework or yard work so I am usually available and can give a lot of attention to your pet!! Also, I don’t go to LSU games so I am available to care for your pets while you enjoy the game! 🐯 I am very caring and conscientious. I am always thinking about how they are feeling and I feel happy when I know my pet or someone else’s pet is happy and safe. I am very safety oriented and will always make sure the pets have the best care they could have. I have a great big dog bed and a fenced in back yard. I am very clean and tidy and I am used to a dog that would eat anything that is out and about so I keep everything organized and away.

About: I’ve fallen in love with ALL animals since I was a kid. Since then i’ve watched all sizes and breeds of dogs with all sorts of different personalities and has loved every single moment of it! I am currently unemployed and looking to start into the pet care business. I can sit and board at all times and any days as needed. After college, I gained even more professional experience beginning as a Kennel Technician before becoming a Veterinary Technician, Veterinary Surgical Technician, and eventually the Clinic Manager. After I left private veterinary practice to pursue a career in animal rescue, I served as the Manager of a successful nonprofit dog rescue. In this role, I coordinated with shelters, fosters, and adopters all while caring for 30 dogs per day and serving the public in order to rehome over 500 dogs per year. As part of my daily duties, I also arranged their veterinary care and monitored their recovery and overall wellbeing. When my own senior dogs required more care and medical attention, I pivoted to remote work with an in-home veterinary hospice service. In this role, I received emergency assessment training for many species in order to help pet parents ascertain if their pet needed emergency medical assistance. This afforded me the opportunity to hone my instincts about what constitutes an emergency, what to do in an emergency, and, more importantly, how to prevent emergencies. Throughout my career, I have remained dedicated to pets and animal welfare. I am always seeking out opportunities for continuing education, such as attending the Humane Society’s annual animal welfare conference or completing an apprenticeship at Austin Pets Alive!, or binge-watching animal training tutorials. In my personal life, I’ve had dogs, cats, reptiles and amphibians as pets ever since I was a child. As an adult, I was privileged to adopt a special needs dog named Fizzgig, who introduced me to the rewarding experience of caring for seniors. He changed my life and my heart forever, not to mention my career path. Since Fizz, I’ve had the privilege of caring for two other senior / special needs rescue dogs of my own, as well as fostering numerous seniors and special needs dogs. Though Fizzgig and my other senior have since crossed the Rainbow Bridge, I am still blessed with my 15 year old foster-fail, Sissy - the sweetest pitbull you’ll ever meet. She’s slowing down some, but she still loves her four walks a day, and she’s just a happy, playful, gentle goofball! I provide pet care full time, so my availability is flexible enough to keep your pet’s routine. In other words, your pets come first! I will administer medications on schedule, and if needed, I can also expertly coordinate care with others, including a groomer or veterinarian. I'm also comfortable monitoring animals in recovery. For vacation care, I generally prefer to schedule a minimum of three potty breaks a day not only to ensure your pet’s comfort, exercise, and stimulation, but also to preserve the dignity of your home. SERVICES Generally, I petsit by referral only to ensure I work with animal lovers whose pets are well-cared for, but a couple of my senior pet clients have crossed the rainbow bridge so I have a little more availability than usual and decided to make a Rover profile. About: We've had 4 family dogs that I've raised from puppies. All were happy, healthy pups! Now I have two wonderful dogs here in Louisiana that love my schedule, having a house of their own, and the large fenced-in yard. We frequent the Burbank dog park and PetSuites, always loving new friends. I also grew up with 2 cats and have experience cat-sitting cats with a variety of personalities. I have experience giving cats medicine My goal here is to offer the same services that I'd want for my dogs. That means working closely with you to understand their routine and training regime, giving them lots of love and snugs, and sending you photos and videos throughout the day. If they're in my home, I still try to stick as close to their routine as possible, we unveil new toys every day, offer puzzles and shredding enrichment, I put my dogs' charming personalities to work, and I make sure your dog gets the individualized care and attention they need. My schedule is currently extra flexible as I work from home! I can easily host dogs throughout the day and overnight while guaranteeing my time away from the house won't exceed 3 hours. My dogs roam the house and yard when I am home. Depending on their energy level, the weather, or time of day, I either crate them or leave them in the yard to play when I leave for a few hours. It is important that your dog can be crated or, if preferred, left alone in the yard. This will be necessary in the case of emergencies, over-stimulation, or if your dog needs a dedicated security spot. If I'm housesitting or doing drop-ins, I do my best to keep the pet's routine as close to normal as possible.

Each animal is analyzed carefully & fit into proper schedules according to their personality, levels of energy, and socialization. I provide a secure, fenced-in yard and individual kennels for each pet’s comfort and safety. Dogs start their day around 6:30–8:00 AM with a 10 to 30-minute walk, followed by supervised backyard playtime and snacks. Kennels are used only for rest and feeding—pets spend the majority of their day active, social, and engaged. I tailor care to each pet’s needs, whether that includes frequent park trips, light obedience training, short backyard outings or bathing.
