“Perfect perfect perfect! I was able to drop pepper off before my shift which was perfect for me. He had plenty of attention and plenty of friends when he got home he was done for. Worn out. That’s how I know he had a great time! Will definitely be back”

“Jaz is wonderful. She has a very calming energy that my baby girl desperately needed. My dog doesn't spend much time away from me and thus got a little panicky at drop off time, but Jaz had her relaxed and playing with her cat and another daycare pup within the hour. Will absolutely utilize her services again, soon.”

About: ✨✨✨ Independently Insured ✨✨✨ 20 Years of Professional & Experienced Pet Care and House Sitting Services! Specializing in Senior, Special Needs, and Multi-Pet Care with a Background in Veterinary Clinic Care & Animal Rescue 🐶🐱🐰🐷🐔🐢🐠🐍🦎🐹 My name is Anna, and although I’m new to the Rover platform, I have professional experience working in vet clinics, rescues, and shelters, and I have more than 20 years of pet sitting and house sitting experience! I’ve dedicated my life to animals and have cared for countless animals of all kinds - dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, pigs, chickens, fish, snakes, lizards, turtles, and other exotics! After college, I gained even more professional experience beginning as a Kennel Technician before becoming a Veterinary Technician, Veterinary Surgical Technician, and eventually the Clinic Manager. After I left private veterinary practice to pursue a career in animal rescue, I served as the Manager of a successful nonprofit dog rescue. In this role, I coordinated with shelters, fosters, and adopters all while caring for 30 dogs per day and serving the public in order to rehome over 500 dogs per year. As part of my daily duties, I also arranged their veterinary care and monitored their recovery and overall wellbeing. When my own senior dogs required more care and medical attention, I pivoted to remote work with an in-home veterinary hospice service. In this role, I received emergency assessment training for many species in order to help pet parents ascertain if their pet needed emergency medical assistance. This afforded me the opportunity to hone my instincts about what constitutes an emergency, what to do in an emergency, and, more importantly, how to prevent emergencies. Throughout my career, I have remained dedicated to pets and animal welfare. I am always seeking out opportunities for continuing education, such as attending the Humane Society’s annual animal welfare conference or completing an apprenticeship at Austin Pets Alive!, or binge-watching animal training tutorials. In my personal life, I’ve had dogs, cats, reptiles and amphibians as pets ever since I was a child. As an adult, I was privileged to adopt a special needs dog named Fizzgig, who introduced me to the rewarding experience of caring for seniors. He changed my life and my heart forever, not to mention my career path. Since Fizz, I’ve had the privilege of caring for two other senior / special needs rescue dogs of my own, as well as fostering numerous seniors and special needs dogs. Though Fizzgig and my other senior have since crossed the Rainbow Bridge, I am still blessed with my 15 year old foster-fail, Sissy - the sweetest pitbull you’ll ever meet. She’s slowing down some, but she still loves her four walks a day, and she’s just a happy, playful, gentle goofball! I take pride in providing experienced, professional care, customized to your pet’s needs, and I always provide the same love and attention I’d want for my Sissy girl. You can trust that your pets will be well-cared for and well-loved with me, and I look forward to meeting y'all! SCHEDULE My day revolves around animals, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I provide pet care full time, so my availability is flexible enough to keep your pet’s routine. In other words, your pets come first! I will administer medications on schedule, and if needed, I can also expertly coordinate care with others, including a groomer or veterinarian. I'm also comfortable monitoring animals in recovery. For vacation care, I generally prefer to schedule a minimum of three potty breaks a day not only to ensure your pet’s comfort, exercise, and stimulation, but also to preserve the dignity of your home. SERVICES Generally, I petsit by referral only to ensure I work with animal lovers whose pets are well-cared for, but a couple of my senior pet clients have crossed the rainbow bridge so I have a little more availability than usual and decided to make a Rover profile. Though my account is on the newer side, I have beaucoup references from current and former clients available upon request. I typically provide care in the client’s home to maintain routine and consistency for your pet(s), and I am currently offering drop-in visits and walks through the Rover platform. I provide boarding and doggy day care in my home and overnight care in the pet's home on a case by case basis, provided your pet gets along with my Sissy girl (you can find her bio on my profile) As Sissy and your pet’s safety is my top priority, our pets would need to meet first to ensure they are a good fit. If you require a service I'm not currently offering, please do not hesitate to reach out :)

About: Hi! I am a dog-lover and mom, and will do whatever it takes to spend time with dogs and more dogs! I love going to the dog park to see dogs play and just simply be dogs. I have been a proud mom of an old Great Dane, and a young one currently, I have watched friends’ and family members’ dogs for a couple of days to up to a few weeks. I love having them around me. I will take wonderful care of your four, three, or even two legged animal, because all dogs deserve the best! I love walking, running, laughing and playing with dogs, so whatever your fur-baby needs, they shall have! I hope we have the opportunity to meet soon! I would love to help out you, and most importantly, your animal!

About: My family and I have always had multiple dogs raised from puppies to full grown dogs that I helped to care for. This includes walking, bathing, feeding, playing fetch, trimming nails and taking them to the vet. I have also taken care of our farm animals daily needs. I work part time and my day to day schedule is very flexible. I am open to same day sitting jobs if needed. I am available to take dog to the vet as well. I have one friendly dog that loves furry company. I can accommodate needs of sitting location, depending on client’s preference. I have toys, crates, treats and dog beds to ensure comfort and needs are met.

About: My love for animals and reliable care. I have taken care of dogs of every breed since I was 14. Friends and family have trusted me to pet sit and take care of their pets. I recently finished my junior year in college so I am currently working part time. I have plenty of time to care for your fur babies and am available any day of the week. I take care of the pets I am watching as if they are my own. I give them lots of attention and play time. We go for long walks and spend lots of time together.

“Anika clearly cares so much about dogs. Before booking my dog in for daycare, she wanted to meet with us to see if our dogs were a good fit together. I really appreciated her taking the time to do that, because my dog is extremely playful and energetic and not all dogs can handle that! Knowing about a bad previous experience I had with a sitter, I feel like she took extra care to send me updates and pictures of Kaju to put me at ease. She went above and beyond in his care- taking him for walks, letting him play with her dog in the yard, and feeding him on time. I trust her completely to care for Kaju, and I know he trusts her too because he was able to take naps at her place (something that he is not always able to do due to trust issues). Anika is an exemplary dog sitter and we will be returning regularly!”

“Good communication, flexible with our schedule. We appreciate the care!”

About: Greetings pet parents! In the description to follow you will find that I am a highly qualified individual when it comes to pet and home care. I am originally from Southern Missouri where my experience in pet care began. I grew up around an array of animals and learned how to train and care for them from a young age. I have worked both personally and professionally with animals ranging from the more exotic category to common house pets. I worked at a zoo for about a year where I was in charge of livestock (baby camels, alpacas, ponies) and aviary (large parrots and parakeets). However, my best friend at the zoo was a 115 lb Hyena named Bonsai. During this time I also house/pet sat for many locals. This included drop-in visits for daily feedings and walks, and overnight stays in my own home, or the pet owners if house sitting was involved. After MO I moved to Phoenix AZ and lived there for over a year. While here I worked in a dog boarding facility/daycare where I was able to learn even more about k9 behavior. Our facility housed over 150 dogs a day during our busy season. I was able to learn more about how dogs behave in larger groups and interact with each other. We handled a wide variety of breeds, sizes, and personalities that all had different needs and specifications. This job was very demanding but highly rewarding as well as educational! When dog sitting, I always make it a fun experience and implement training as well as exercise. I love taking doggos for long adventurous walks/runs while simultaneously introducing simple behavioral training, especially in younger pups who may not have the experience that most older dogs do. I do this via positive verbal recognition, happy touch (pets), and treat reinforcement. With younger dogs especially I try to train calmness and socialization. I also know when to designate playtime vs quiet time. My ultimate goal while sitting dogs is to have a safe and happy time in hopes that they are worn out by the end of the day and ready to crash. If you have any further questions about my background in home and pet care please feel free to reach out to me! I am a trustworthy source for any service you may require when it comes to your home and your fur babies :) Ps. I now live in Baton Rouge and I have an almost 2 year old daughter. I am a stay at home mom and my daughter and I are a single unit - we do everything together. She is used to being by my side and also loves animals. She does not run and chase or yell at them, she is very gentle and polite. Thank you in advance for your consideration. -MM We now live in Baton Rouge and I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter. About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have even taken care of cats, ducks, dogs, and fish. I have also grown up staying on a farm on the weekends, so I am very familiar with most species. I intend to also pursue a career in environmental law to help protect the animals worldwide and their environment. I have so far taken care of dogs ranging from a 2 pound puppy to 3 labs. I am currently off to the summer with not much to do and will be free mostly everyday. I wake up around 9-10 naturally, but can wake up earlier if needed. I typically try to sleep around 10 but usually end up sleeping around midnight. I have a fenced in backyard in a residential neighborhood with a toy poodle who loves to play with animal animal. He works well with small and big dogs as he’s very gentle. Our dogs usually run free and sleep wherever. I can crate a dog if needed.

“Dear Rover-Team, I know Lauren as a little girl, because I was babysitting her and we stayed good friends since then. She is a very kind person, with big social responsibility towards people, environment and animals. Already as a little girl she was drawn to dogs in a spacial way. No dog could go by without a kind reaction of her. As a teenager, she started dog sitting a dog from a friend, while the owner was gone for holidays. She took that task very serious, with responsibility and one could see, that she will have a dog in her future live. From than on she kept dogsitting the dog and became more experienced with it. I can highly recomment her to dogsitt, she will take it very serious and will be a kind and loving dogsitter. Best regards, Adam S”

I had to go out of town for a week. Not one time did i worried because i know she was in good hands. When i picked princess up not only did she train her to use the bathroom outside she also told me she think she has a bladder infection. I took her to the doctor and in fact she did. Hadnt she noticed the signs my dog probably wouldnt have been here today. She will make a wonderful pet sitter. I never knew met anyone that shows so much love for animals”

14. Marcilena M.
“I have a very rambunctious boxer/pit mix and a very nosey fat cat. It’s hard to find someone I can trust to love and take care of my 75 pound girl as most people are intimidated by all of that personality charging at them. However, Marci always embraces her excitement and seems to find ways to calm her. As for my handsome cat, he adores her and never seems hesitant to share his affection with her. I’ve even entrusted her with the tasks of feeding my leopard geckos while out of town. My geckos are housed together and can sometimes be aggressive towards one another during feeding times. I was quite impressed with her ability to follow strict feeding instructions to prevent any unwanted contact between my geckos while feeding. I would definitely say Marci is very trustworthy and attentive. I never have any doubts that my animals are well tended to when they are in her care. She seems to adore all of the wild personalities they each possess.”
