6. Gianna V.
About: I have three huskies at home. Taking care of them requires a lot of attention, energy, and patience. (Heavy on the patience LOL) My boyfriend also has a boxer, so I have plenty of experience walking, feeding, and playing with large energetic dogs. I am always looking to walk, house sit, or just have a playdate with your fur baby! I am always willing to anything to provide a great life for our babies. Whether that is a walk, playing, or giving them their favorite treats! I keep safety and care for our babies by simply following the rules! If specific rules or instructions are placed ( ex: certain ways to feed your dog or cat) the. I follow them to a tee. Before letting dogs out I always look to see if there are any wild animals before letting them out. (One of my huskies brought me an opossum. Was not fun🙈) Small actions like these provide safety and protection for our fur babies.

7. Rachel C.
“Rachel watched my cat multiple times. He is a very particular cat who struggles to warm up to new people watching him, but she was able to make him feel at home and by the update I could tell he was given alot of attention and love. He loves when he gets to see her now as well as my nee younger cat who is warming up to her now as well. I would suggest Rachel to anyone asking for someone to watch their pets as she's been the best for me and my cats!”

8. Mackenzie S.

“Mackenzie did an amazing job keeping me up to date with both walks throughout the day. Arrived on time and went on a nice walk utilizing all the time. Definitely will using her again in the future!”

9. Karli D.
“I can't say enough great things about Karli and the care she provides for my Lucy Lou. Like many pet owners, my Lou means the world to me and it takes a lot for me to trust someone with her. Karli cares for my dog as if she was her own. She is extremely professional, responsible, and caring. I highly recommend Karli to anyone looking for a pup sitter!”

10. Nazareth O.
“Naz took care of my cat, Winnie, while I was away and did a fantastic job. She was reliable and attentive, and gave regular updates which I appreciated. My cat likes a lot of attention and can be quite affectionate (/needy haha) and Naz made sure Winnie got allllllll the love and care to keep her happy. I definitely recommend Naz to anyone looking for a trustworthy and kind pet sitter!!”

11. Malayna E.
“Malayna is a lovely person that loves animals. I have 2 dogs and cats. My babies love her so much 💗 She's very responsible on taking care of them. Feeds, cleans their mess and walks my little dogs. I would recommend her to watch over your furbabies.”

12. rachel r.
“I have a young German shepherd that is pretty dog reactive and has struggled with walking on leash in the past. Rachel does well with her and is mindful of her personality and her quirks. Not only is she patient but she is familiar with my dog’s breed traits and is super flexible on time. The flexibility was great because I had a trip out the country for 14 days and Rachel was available pretty last minute. She house sat, took care of my pup from my instructions, and gave responses and updates regularly and often. I would absolutely recommend Rachel to anyone with a dog that needs a little extra attention!”

15. Lauren C.
“I have never seen such an animal lover as Lauren Clear. She loves all animals, especially dogs. It doesn't matter what kind of dog, she always goes up to the it without fear. She has been a dog sitter for a golden retriever in the past and it was heaven for her. In her current living situation, they had a dog which recently passed away. This was an aging great dane which needed special care. She did so without complaining. I hope you will consider letting Lauren care for your pet. She is a trusting, honest person and your pet would be in good care with her.”

16. Emma O.
“Emma was reliable and trustworthy. She showed up to walk my dog on time, and took many pictures throughout the walk. I loved receiving them throughout the hour!”

She is a champion of safety and security but also makes sure to constantly be engaged and catering to her pets to ensure they are having the best time. Incredibly good at maintaining schedules and handling difficult and emergency situations. Would trust her with the life of any animal.”

About: ✨✨✨ Independently Insured ✨✨✨ 20 Years of Professional & Experienced Pet Care and House Sitting Services! Specializing in Senior, Special Needs, and Multi-Pet Care with a Background in Veterinary Clinic Care & Animal Rescue 🐶🐱🐰🐷🐔🐢🐠🐍🦎🐹 My name is Anna, and although I’m new to the Rover platform, I have professional experience working in vet clinics, rescues, and shelters, and I have more than 20 years of pet sitting and house sitting experience! I’ve dedicated my life to animals and have cared for countless animals of all kinds - dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, pigs, chickens, fish, snakes, lizards, turtles, and other exotics! After college, I gained even more professional experience beginning as a Kennel Technician before becoming a Veterinary Technician, Veterinary Surgical Technician, and eventually the Clinic Manager. After I left private veterinary practice to pursue a career in animal rescue, I served as the Manager of a successful nonprofit dog rescue. In this role, I coordinated with shelters, fosters, and adopters all while caring for 30 dogs per day and serving the public in order to rehome over 500 dogs per year. As part of my daily duties, I also arranged their veterinary care and monitored their recovery and overall wellbeing. When my own senior dogs required more care and medical attention, I pivoted to remote work with an in-home veterinary hospice service. In this role, I received emergency assessment training for many species in order to help pet parents ascertain if their pet needed emergency medical assistance. This afforded me the opportunity to hone my instincts about what constitutes an emergency, what to do in an emergency, and, more importantly, how to prevent emergencies. Throughout my career, I have remained dedicated to pets and animal welfare. I am always seeking out opportunities for continuing education, such as attending the Humane Society’s annual animal welfare conference or completing an apprenticeship at Austin Pets Alive!, or binge-watching animal training tutorials. In my personal life, I’ve had dogs, cats, reptiles and amphibians as pets ever since I was a child. As an adult, I was privileged to adopt a special needs dog named Fizzgig, who introduced me to the rewarding experience of caring for seniors. He changed my life and my heart forever, not to mention my career path. Since Fizz, I’ve had the privilege of caring for two other senior / special needs rescue dogs of my own, as well as fostering numerous seniors and special needs dogs. Though Fizzgig and my other senior have since crossed the Rainbow Bridge, I am still blessed with my 15 year old foster-fail, Sissy - the sweetest pitbull you’ll ever meet. She’s slowing down some, but she still loves her four walks a day, and she’s just a happy, playful, gentle goofball! I take pride in providing experienced, professional care, customized to your pet’s needs, and I always provide the same love and attention I’d want for my Sissy girl. You can trust that your pets will be well-cared for and well-loved with me, and I look forward to meeting y'all! SCHEDULE My day revolves around animals, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I provide pet care full time, so my availability is flexible enough to keep your pet’s routine. In other words, your pets come first! I will administer medications on schedule, and if needed, I can also expertly coordinate care with others, including a groomer or veterinarian. I'm also comfortable monitoring animals in recovery. For vacation care, I generally prefer to schedule a minimum of three potty breaks a day not only to ensure your pet’s comfort, exercise, and stimulation, but also to preserve the dignity of your home. SERVICES Generally, I petsit by referral only to ensure I work with animal lovers whose pets are well-cared for, but a couple of my senior pet clients have crossed the rainbow bridge so I have a little more availability than usual and decided to make a Rover profile. Though my account is on the newer side, I have beaucoup references from current and former clients available upon request. I typically provide care in the client’s home to maintain routine and consistency for your pet(s), and I am currently offering drop-in visits and walks through the Rover platform. I provide boarding and doggy day care in my home and overnight care in the pet's home on a case by case basis, provided your pet gets along with my Sissy girl (you can find her bio on my profile) As Sissy and your pet’s safety is my top priority, our pets would need to meet first to ensure they are a good fit. If you require a service I'm not currently offering, please do not hesitate to reach out :)
