About: I have over a year of experience in animal daycare and/or kennel settings, and can quickly assess a pet's body language and accomodate for discomfort or unique needs. I have a part time job Monday through Wednesday, but I can make myself available with enough planning ahead, and usually have afternoons and evenings free. I need at least two day's notice for weekends. I follow client's intructions to the letter when caring for pets at their home. When needed (e.g. for brachycephalic dogs) I will ask for a safe harness or collar option to avoid restricted breathing.

About: My friends and family have trusted me with drop-ins visits for years. Every cat is special and I love them all like my own. I’ve never met a cat that I couldn’t pet. Even skittish ones can sense my heart; we call it my superpower. I am a freelance court reporter. I primarily work from home. I make my own schedule and can fit in daily drop-ins where they’re needed. I have two cats, Doug (15) and Noodle (7). Noodle loves long walks in his stroller. He is half Siamese and all talk! Doug is a cool cat that is very skittish. We are always considerate of his fear of loud noises and take pleasure in maintaining a peaceful home for him to feel safe in. Justice for skittish cats! Doug has arthritis and requires injections by me and liquid meds weekly/daily, respectively. Cat health is important to me. Both of my cats are very fluffy. We vacuum and ChomChom our furniture often. I’ve always got a lint roller on me. My cats are very spoiled, as they should be. I scoop the litter daily and schedule feed them morning and night. My experience with cat sitting is primarily drop-ins. I am open to discussing a more hands-on routine if that’s what your cat requires. I have keys to many colleagues homes. They text me when they go on trips and I happily scoot on over to care for the cats. I’ve been doing this for years and just decided to see if it was worth offering as a service in my neighborhood. As an owner who feeds twice a day, I am happy to go twice or just once a day if your cat is a grazer. My cats leave trails of litter all around the box area, so just tell me where your broom is and I’ll take care of cleaning your floor, too! I have a camera in my home and would understand you having one as well. If you want pictures of your cats while away, you don’t have to ask twice because I’ve probably already taken some. Cats are complex creatures, and as an owner who has a complicated one herself, I’m all ears to hear your cats likes/dislikes, quirky needs, and any other “silly requests”.

About: I’ve owned 3 dogs throughout my life and they have taught me that I am an absolute lover of all dogs. I’ve had a German Shepherd/Pit Bull mix, a Boxer, and a Shih Tzu. About: I have loved animals ever since I was in elementary. I have had 5 Dogs, from a German Shepard to a little Yorkie Poodle mix. I also attend Louisiana State University as a pre-vet student. Alongside my work experience, I have grown up my whole life with dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. About 3 years ago, I adopted a senile dachshund from the shelter. He had many health problems and from working in the clinic and kennel I am very used to administering medicine. I also don’t mind cleaning up any messes your pet makes as I am very used to it. I am definitely a workaholic and I make myself pretty available! After school, I have a pretty set schedule with how I care for my animals. I have a huge fenced in yard that my dogs run around in. I have a little fence blocking off my cats from my dogs so everyone has their own little area and my guinea pigs are kept in their own cages on tables in their own little area. All of my pets are in great health and not to mention they are all rescues!
About: I have had and taken care of pets of all kinds (but especially dogs) since I was very young! I’ve had experience with puppies, young dogs, and older dogs, male and female. Even now I help take care of relative’s dogs and I love it. I feed, watch, walk, and make sure they’re happy! I stay in good shape and walk / workout every day, so I am able to handle larger breeds if needed! I live near LSU lakes which is a great place for walking, I usually go around the lakes when I go for walks, so I am familiar with the area well. It’s a great experience for people and pets! I’m pretty flexible and usually available for any activities! I am going to be taking 2 online classes this summer which requires me to be home, it works out well to watch some sweet pups! I do not have any dogs or cats within my home currently. Any pet works just fine to be inside or outside! The living room, dining room, and kitchen are all fairly large open spaces and connected together.

About: I’ve been a dog dad for 6+ years and have taken care of pets for neighbors, teachers, and friends for years, from walking and feeding to live-in care. I’m a college instructor on break between semesters so my schedule is flexible with lots of availability for all your pet care needs, whether one time walking or in home stays. I have a friendly corgi named Rufus who loves other dogs and we live in a house near the Garden District with an unfenced yard where I walk him around the neighborhood twice daily.

About: My family and I have always had multiple dogs raised from puppies to full grown dogs that I helped to care for. About: I have three huskies at home. Taking care of them requires a lot of attention, energy, and patience. (Heavy on the patience LOL) My boyfriend also has a boxer, so I have plenty of experience walking, feeding, and playing with large energetic dogs. I am always looking to walk, house sit, or just have a playdate with your fur baby! I am always willing to anything to provide a great life for our babies. Whether that is a walk, playing, or giving them their favorite treats! I keep safety and care for our babies by simply following the rules! Before letting dogs out I always look to see if there are any wild animals before letting them out. (One of my huskies brought me an opossum. About: I have over 15 years of experience caring for dogs, including dog sitting for friends and neighbors and owning my own dog for the past six years. As a dog owner, I understand how stressful it can be when your dog is out of sight, so I closely supervise dogs at all times and do not allow off-leash activity or interactions with unfamiliar dogs. Safety and attentive care are always my top priorities. I work remotely during the day and attend school in the evenings, so I am only away from home for a short period, about three hours. This allows me to provide consistent supervision, timely walks, and attentive care throughout the day. I have a fenced yard and one dog in my home. Dogs are always closely supervised, kept on leash outside the yard, and never allowed to interact with unfamiliar dogs. Safety, structure, and consistency are my top priorities.
About: I’ve owned 3 dogs throughout my life and they have taught me that I am an absolute lover of all dogs. I’ve had a German Shepherd/Pit Bull mix, a Boxer, and a Shih Tzu. I am comfortable with ALL dog sizes. Last summer I had the privilege of being able to job shadow my dogs vet at her All Pets Animal Hospital which was a very interesting and unique experience. Since starting college, I have started volunteering with an animal shelter to walk and take care of dogs, giving me experiences with young dogs and old, hyper and anxious etc. I am currently an intern at an animal shelter for the summer. I assist the vet techs with tasks such as giving dogs and cats their medicine, give vaccines, prep them for surgery, etc. As of now, I do work a summer job along with my internship but it does allow time for pet sitting. As my job isn’t full time and my internship is only a few days a week. Being able to fill in the extra time taking care of dogs and cats would keep me occupied until I return to school on the fall. I have had a few animals of my own over the years. I treat all dogs as if they were my own because I know I would want the same treatment if I had a pet sitter. They deserve love, respect and comfort. I will respect their boundaries while making sure they get everything they need plus some.

I would prefer to watch your pup(s) at my house since I do have fur babies of my own, or be able to bring my dog along with me to your house. Only if it’s safe to do so of course! About: As a pet owner myself, I have experience with how to keep feeding routines, administer meds, walks, playtime, potty breaks, grooming and recognizing when something isn’t quite right. I’ll also provide regular updates and photos, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. I’m currently working remotely and part time. This leaves me plenty of time to care for pets on weekdays and weekends, throughout the day. Early mornings and late evenings are no problem. We have a private fenced in yard for those that need ample activity. Pets are cared for in the home but also have their own room for when they need a quiet corner.

About: I grew up with a Yorkie and now care for him in his senior years with doggy dementia, which has taught me the importance of patience, gentle routines, and creating a calm, comforting environment. Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays I get out of class for 11 and am free for the rest of the day. Tuesdays and Thursdays are a little tougher for me due to my classes being scattered throughout the day.
