“I appreciate Savannah so much for watching my baby while we went away on a trip. This was my first time EVER leaving Brownie with anyone that long. We just relocated to Youngsville so I scrambled to find someone to watch her while we were gone & I couldn’t have chosen anyone better. Savannah did so good with Brownie. I wanted to make sure I chose someone that would care about her in the same manner I do. She gave lots of cuddles, play time, and personal care as she started her “period” the day we were dropping her off to Savannah. She didn’t have any issues with changing her diapers or anything. About: I have had and taken care of pets of all kinds (but especially dogs) since I was very young! I’ve had experience with puppies, young dogs, and older dogs, male and female. Even now I help take care of relative’s dogs and I love it. I feed, watch, walk, and make sure they’re happy! I stay in good shape and walk / workout every day, so I am able to handle larger breeds if needed! I live near LSU lakes which is a great place for walking, I usually go around the lakes when I go for walks, so I am familiar with the area well. It’s a great experience for people and pets! I’m pretty flexible and usually available for any activities! I am going to be taking 2 online classes this summer which requires me to be home, it works out well to watch some sweet pups! I do not have any dogs or cats within my home currently. Any pet works just fine to be inside or outside! The living room, dining room, and kitchen are all fairly large open spaces and connected together.
About: I’ve been caring for animals from a very young age, growing up on a farm where tending to a wide variety of animals was part of my everyday life. About: I have over a year of experience in animal daycare and/or kennel settings, and can quickly assess a pet's body language and accomodate for discomfort or unique needs. I have a part time job Monday through Wednesday, but I can make myself available with enough planning ahead, and usually have afternoons and evenings free. I need at least two day's notice for weekends. I follow client's intructions to the letter when caring for pets at their home. When needed (e.g. for brachycephalic dogs) I will ask for a safe harness or collar option to avoid restricted breathing.

This afforded me the opportunity to hone my instincts about what constitutes an emergency, what to do in an emergency, and, more importantly, how to prevent emergencies. Throughout my career, I have remained dedicated to pets and animal welfare. I am always seeking out opportunities for continuing education, such as attending the Humane Society’s annual animal welfare conference or completing an apprenticeship at Austin Pets Alive!, or binge-watching animal training tutorials. In my personal life, I’ve had dogs, cats, reptiles and amphibians as pets ever since I was a child. As an adult, I was privileged to adopt a special needs dog named Fizzgig, who introduced me to the rewarding experience of caring for seniors. As a dog owner, I understand how stressful it can be when your dog is out of sight, so I closely supervise dogs at all times and do not allow off-leash activity or interactions with unfamiliar dogs. About: We live in a 2nd-floor apartment that has 12 stairs leading up to it. I have had dogs in the home since the age of 2 and been a primary caregiver for my last 3 family dogs. My partner and I both love all dogs, especially larger breeds. We are experienced in basic leash and command training, basic medication administration, and house training. We firmly believe you can never have too many dogs around and would love to host your furry family member while you are away! We have a cat named Mitties who keeps to herself and tolerates her brother Lincoln as well as his friends who visit. Lincoln has never met another pup he didn't like. He loves to play and wrestle but also knows when it's time to give his friends space. He has regular interaction with dogs of all sizes and adjusts his play style accordingly. We are available for most weekends, and most weekdays from a week-to-week basis. Isaac works from home and is almost always around during the day to supervise! Dogs can be crated if needed over night or while we are away. Our dog Lincoln does not use a crate, however, so it is not necessary if your dog doesn’t usually use one either.

I’m free mostly every weekday and anytime on the weekends. I usually take pets out 3-4 times a day for potty breaks. I love every pup size and I’ll enjoy snuggling with them or running around with them! I have a fenced backyard with a super chill senior dog that would love to meet other animals. We have a very calm home so no loud noises or disruptions. I also have a crate for small to medium dogs if needed.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and have always had one by my side. Over the years, my family has owned a variety of breeds, including a Yorkie, Beagle mix, Chocolate Lab, Golden Retriever, and Miniature Doodle, which has given me experience with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. During my junior year of high school, I adopted my own Yorkie puppy, who is now 3 years old and truly my best friend.
