I have taken care of over a dozen pets through my neighborhood, fostered numerous pairs of puppies and kittens, owned two pairs of pet rats, and have spent a brief time caring for small exotic birds. I also regularly volunteer at the Cat Haven shelter in Baton Rouge and have been a longtime animal lover.

Ella was a wonderful cat sitter! She took great care of August and kept me updated throughout my time away, which gave me so much peace of mind. She went above and beyond to make sure August received plenty of love and attention. I would absolutely recommend Ella and would book her again!
Ella was the perfect person to take care of our two cats! They never leave our house and they don’t travel well, so I knew they would be stressed, but we were moving and I didn’t want to risk them getting out so I chose to board them with Ella for two nights. She gave plenty of updates to easy my worries, and found ways to help the cats feel as calm as possible. We appreciate her so much and will definitely use her on the future!

Schedule
I can check in on pets at any time on weekends and before 11:00 AM and after 3:30 PM on weekdays. I’m a full time student at LSU but I live in my own apartment and commute to campus, so I do have some flexibility in my schedule outside of classes.

I will gladly handle feeding, play/roaming time, walks, administering oral medication, and any other needs that you might have for your pet(s) within your home.
A typical day
I love spending quality time with the pets I watch! For dogs, I will take them on long walks around their neighborhood (or mine if permitted) and play with them inside or outside their home. For indoor pets, I will use any toys or stimulation provided to keep cats, small mammals, or birds happy during their time in my care.
