About: I am a 2nd year student at LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in Baton Rouge. I grew up with a love for animals and decided to turn my passion into my career. I’ve taken care of many animals throughout my life, including dogs, cats, horses, and chickens. I have small animal clinic experience so I am very comfortable with giving medications, identifying signs of anxiety or pain, and providing loving care to any animal. I have 3 dogs right now that I absolutely adore and spend most of my time with. Being a veterinary student means that I get the opportunity to deal with all sorts of animals weekly. Animals bring me joy and the more I can be around them, the better! I feed my dogs twice a day and take them on daily walks. I play with them as much as I can to get their energy out and cuddle with them once they are tired out. When I dog-sit for people, I usually go to their house 3 times a day, play with them, and ensure they get enough attention and playtime. I am also comfortable with giving baths and trimming nails.

I have worked with a variety of breeds, ages, and sizes and have a lot of experience in training behavior. I have also dealt with up to 30 dogs in one day care room during solo shifts. I have owned a dog for 12 years back at my house in Virginia, and currently do not live with him. I am also very organized and reliable. I will always be on time or early to appointments! I currently work full-time from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. I am available to host overnight dogs and can provide walks or drop-in visits before and after my work hours. I also have greater availability on evenings and weekends, allowing me to provide reliable and attentive care for your pets. I am also available most weekends. I am very friendly with new animals and am able to learn their behaviors quickly. I am not harsh when trying to correct their behavior, but will make sure they don’t try to misbehave.
