About: I've been a foster carer for various greyhound organizations here (ATX and DFW) and in Australia. I get the hounds that are cat safe and get them used to living with cats. I'm always fostering, which is why I cannot take in more dogs for sitting, but I can do pop-ins. Before I fostered greyhounds, I used to petsit for friends' parents. I love to scritch ears, make up stupid songs for them, and play on the floor. My current pack consists of two sighthound mixes and two middle-management cats. Am I Katy or Mary? Both. The joy of going by either the first name or the nickname. You can call me Katy. The IRS can keep calling me Mary ... and please, if you're from IRS, don't call me. I am currently working from home and would love the excuse to get out and walk or, when it's really too hot, engage in play in the backyard. I am mindful of the various personalities I could encounter. I understand that not all pets want to play. Some want to chill and know that you're there. Others need to get that energy out. When doing pop ins, I would be mindful of what their humans say.

About: I've always been around dogs, whether it was my mommas at home or my roommates pets! Ive come to love them and maybe one day will have one of my own! In the meantime, I'd love to care for your baby while you take care of you! I'm currently transitioning from teaching to a new career so I am pretty flexible right now! I just needs a heads up in advance and am happy to make time! My current roommates dog is an indoor dog and so when she's not home, I make sure to give him potty breaks and whatever it is she asks of me! I've been told i'm such a rule follower haha I don't think its a bad thing so whatever it is your pet needs, just let me know!

Kirby is an amazing cat sitter - she really put me at ease during my time away from home (which is hard to do because I tend to worry about my cat and home). However, after meeting her I knew my cat would be in great hands. Firstly, Kirby is an excellent communicator and she takes the time to really get to know you and your pet. She made sure she understood what we needed, asked if we wanted daily photos and updates, and delivered on her word. I was really appreciative of the time she spent keeping my cat company, brushing him and playing with him during the evening hours when he is most active. Second, Kirby went above and beyond by feeding/watering some local strays that I care for outside my home, as well as bringing in packages left at my door. I am so grateful for her and the peace of mind that she brought me so that I could relax on my vacation. I highly recommend her and will definitely be booking with her during my next trip.
Barbara, as always, was the absolute best! Not only does she make Toby feel so loved and make us feel completely comfortable whenever we leave him and travel, but she is also such a wonderful house guest. She always keeps everything so clean and tidy and even washes the sheets before we get home. We just love Barbara so much and feel so lucky to have someone we trust completely with Toby and our home!
Alice was an amazing dog sitter who took care of them and was exceptionally well. I handling their every needs we were unfortunately unable to meet Alice but given how communicative she was I doubt it would’ve been even been necessary and I would absolutely 100% recommend anyone who needs a dog sitter to book her . Nicole was such a gem to watch our three high needs dogs! She was so good with our old man, our Velcro dog, and our Pitbull that is scared of her own shadow.
