“They were absolutely amazing! They took in Sonny after an emergency cancellation and were happy to see him. Sonny was happy and well cared for and excited to go back the second day. I will definitely book again.”

“We’ve been using Avianna as our regular dog sitter for a while now, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the care and attention she gives our pups! She treats our dogs like family—whether it’s cuddles, playtime, walks, or just making sure they feel safe and loved while we’re away. We always feel at ease knowing they’re in such capable hands. Avianna is dependable and kind. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter who will treat your pets like their own!”

About: I’ve had pets my whole life. As a kid we had labradors. Then as a teenager we had cats in the house. Now I care for both dogs and cats. I also own a tarantula that I have loved and cared for over three years now. I didn’t intend to have this many pets but they live here now and are part of the family. I am currently taking care of two small dogs and two house cats. I’ve been a free pet sitter for friends and family for years but it’s time I start earning some income for the work and time I put into caring for animals. I have also been taking care of many community cats over the years and actively spay and neuter the ferals in our community. I’ve bottle fed kittens as a teenager and cared for older dogs as well. I clean up after pet messes. I clean litter boxes and will clean cage bottoms of birds and hamsters. I can refill food and water bowls as needed and walk dogs. I have administered oral medication for older dogs. I can also bottle feed young kittens.

“The thought of coming to Yuma as a healthcare worker all the way from Pittsburgh with only my dog caused a lot of stress for me. I worried if I could find someone both Bear and I would be comfortable with watching him during my long shifts. From day one, I knew I won the dog sitter jackpot right after meeting Cheri. She saw my sensitive, temperamental, and anxious boy and loved him like he was her own. She worked with him, was patient, and allowed him to be himself despite the quarks he has resulting from his traumatic past before I rescued him. Not only was she phenomenal with Bear and made sure he was happy, she is also wonderful person. She is a true beacon of light in a world that seems pretty dark. She is now one of my true friends and a delight to be around. I will forever be thankful I got to meet her. Choose Cheri now and always because you and your pup will not be disappointed.”

“We were in Yuma for only a week (full time RV’ers) and had Ashley and her family take care of our pup a couple of times so he could have some play time. Our pup did a lot of laying on the couch - obviously making himself quite at home there and must’ve felt very comfortable. Ashley is excellent at communication, such a sweetheart, and great at sending updates. We highly recommend them!”

“Annette was great! Sancho seemed very happy when I picked him up. Originally we agreed to 4 hours of daycare but Anette was flexible when I asked her to extend it to 5 hours. Thanks Annette!”

“Michael took very good care of my Pomeranian Morty. I needed a babysitter for 8 days. Just after the first visit Morty would run up the stairs and scratch on his door. Seeing my puppy happy and excited to go to Michael's made my heart happy that picked a safe place for Morty. I highly recommend Michael. I will definitely use his services again.”

About: I have been working with animals for over 4 years as a volunteer, and I also have experience as an intern at a veterinary clinic for a year before going to college. Ever since I was little, I have been an avid animal lover and prioritize animals in my daily life. I have dog sat for family and friends and have experience with walking dogs of many sizes. No animal is too much for me, as I have worked with horses for 10 years of my life and have experience with animal training. The safety and health of your pet(s) is incredibly important to me. I know that animals are family, and I will treat them with lots of patience and love! I currently have full-time availability to care for your pets, which means your furry friend will get plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. After recently completing my master’s degree and relocating to be with my fiancé, I’m excited to spend this time doing something I love—caring for animals! Whether your pet loves long walks, belly rubs, or simply someone to keep them company, I’m here to provide reliable and loving care while you’re away. I live in an apartment complex with a dog park on site, plenty of grass to play in, and lots of safe walking areas for your pet.

About: Hi, thanks for taking time to review my profile! Please note that I have zero pets of my own, so you won't have to worry about yours inadvertently clashing/ fighting for territory with pets of my own :) EDIT: people keep asking, so I guess they aren't seeing the vaccination card in my photos section—yes, I am vaccinated! Quick background: I've provided animal wifery services since 2017 (with Oakland's Doggy Lama Pet Care, Wag!, Rover and personal clientele). I grew up with dogs, the first I can remember being a sweet German Shepherd (this dog was already in the house when I was brought home from the hospital). My love for animals only grew from that point on, because I had a pet—dog, cat, bird or rodent—every year between then and 18. I have no pets of my own currently though, which helps me accommodate a wider range of clients. I maintain a clean, allergen-free space for the dogs I host (I have an air filter and sanitize our home on a regular basis as well) and take every measure to do so when house sitting. I have a fenced backyard (plus ample indoor space) for your pet(s) to take advantage of! Additionally, I will make sure to give your pups at least 2 walks and 3 separate potty breaks daily (I will be installing a doggy door so all my clients will have full access to the backyard whenever nature calls). I work from home, and my partner will help care for clients as well, as they have years of experience with at-risk, traumatized (and non-traumatized) pups too ☺️ If I must leave your pup, it would only be for Drop Ins and short errands (so I'll spend no more than 3 hours away from any pet in my care). However, if your pet has special conditions for care and you're looking for someone who can be by your pet's side 24/7, that is something I'd be happy to arrange! Depending on your pet's needs, a small surcharge may be implemented to account for the services rendered. Please let me know if you have any questions, and I hope to hear from you soon! I can and do care for pets every single day. This is my main source of income, and we can discuss your fur babies' special needs! I care for your pets according to the notes you give. I do have quite a bit of experience with them though, and may suggest alterations to your routine based on relevant experience ^_^ we have many community cats in my neighborhood, so that is something to take into account for dogs with high prey drive.

“Very welcoming people and flexible with pick up and drop off times. Will definitely try to book with them again whenever possible. Our boy, Yoda was actually tired when he got home. Usually he never stops wanting to play. So we know he was well cared for and walked multiple times. THANK YOU!!”

“I can’t recommend Ally enough as a dog sitter! She took incredible care of my 5-year-old cockapoo, Indy, while I was away. From the moment they met, I could tell Indy was in loving hands. Ally showered her with affection, kept her active with frequent walks, and made sure she had plenty of treats (Indy’s love language!).
