“Priscilla was very communicative during the visit and sent pictures of the kitties. She cleaned out the littler and refilled their water. Hopefully will use for my next travels and definitely recommend!”

About: Every pet I've had in the past was a member of my family and very much loved. I don't have a pet at the present time. I am retired so I have plenty of time to help pet owners with anything they might need. Keeps me busy with a purpose. I provide all types of care and meet and greets are required. I don't do puppies unless it's house sitting. FYI: If you book during a non-federal holiday (i.e. Palm Sunday, Easter, etc.) and also if travel is more than 20 miles from me, my prices might be adjusted upwards to accommodate. I have a fenced front/back yard, a large grass common area and a community dog park/run for pups to run and play in without a leash.
“We loved Melissa!! First my dogs are very skiddish of people but they loved her the minute she walked in. We knew she was perfect for our fur babies. She played with them and made sure they were safe. Thank you for loving on our fur babies and making sure our house was in order while we were away. We will be booking again with Melissa soon.”

About: I grew up on a ranch, where caring for animals was part of my everyday life. I have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and other animals, including feeding, walking, bathing, and giving oral medications. As an Applied Biological Sciences graduate with a pre-veterinary focus, I understand the importance of safe handling, patience, and following each pet's routine. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, or a senior who needs extra attention, I'll treat them with the same care and love I'd give my own. I currently work part-time, which gives me flexibility to provide reliable pet care throughout the week. I'm typically available during the mornings and after 6:00 PM, and I'm committed to following each pet's routine for walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I always make sure every pet receives the attention, care, and affection they deserve. Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I carefully follow each owner's instructions, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special routines. I take the time to earn each pet's trust and make sure they feel safe and comfortable in their own environment. I'll also keep you updated with messages and photos, so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
“Audrey is fantastic! Her communication throughout our travels was excellent. She provided many pictures (and sometimes videos) at each visit along with written notes. It was clear from the pictures that my kitties really took to her and looked forward to her drop-ins. Audrey was also responsible for administering oral liquid medication to one of the cats, which isn't always an easy task. She gave us peace of mind while we were away and we will definitely use her services again. I recommend her without hesitation.”

About: Hi! I have taken care of puppy’s since birth! I have two pets of my own so I know a thing or two about dog body language. I trained my Belgian myself. I live in a very safe neighborhood and next to a park. I am currently working at my school so my schedule is pretty free. I am able to take care of your pet after work :) I would make sure your dog is safe and comfortable at all times. They would be getting lots of play and enrichment as necessary .
About: I’ve previously worked at a dog grooming/ boarding facility where we could have up to 20 dogs at a time. I cared for the boarding dogs each day, feeding and watering them, letting them out to potty, and making sure their kennels stayed clean during their stay. I do have a job, so my schedule can change from tim to time. I also have 3 of my own dogs that I care for during the morning, but I would be completely free in the later evening hours. I have a completely fenced in yard that the dogs can roam freely in along with 3 kind, loving dogs of my own that your pup can play with. If you are working on kennel training or would need me to kennel your pup for whatever reason, I do have a kennel available and would be happy to continue your kennel training while they are here with me. My home is as much my pups as it is my fiancé and I’s and they are free to roam anywhere (other than the kitchen) and sit on furniture/beds so your pup will be more than welcome to do the same.

About: What sets me apart is the genuine love, patience, and attention I give every pet. I treat each animal like a member of my own family and take the time to learn their unique personality, routine, and needs. My goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you're away. I have experience caring for puppies, adult dogs, senior pets, and cats. I'm comfortable following detailed care instructions, administering medications when needed, maintaining feeding schedules, and providing gentle care for older pets. I'm also reliable, communicative, and send regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. You can count on me to care for both your pets and your home with the highest level of respect, responsibility, and compassion. This position will be my full-time job, and I have a very flexible schedule. I am available to work mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. I can accommodate any schedule with at least three days' advance notice and am committed to being dependable, reliable, and available whenever the team needs me. I provide loving, dependable, and attentive care tailored to each pet's individual needs. In my home or a client's home, I follow the pet's regular routine as closely as possible, including feeding, providing fresh water, administering medications if instructed, exercising, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of affection. I also monitor each pet for any changes in behavior, appetite, or health and communicate updates promptly with the owner. I respect my clients' homes by keeping them clean, secure, and following all care instructions exactly. My goal is to ensure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owner is away.
About: Always had pets growing up, primarily mid to large sized dogs and random critters. While I can't currently own any of my own, I would love to hang out with and give some attention to yours! Right now my schedule is 8 days on, 6 days off. So essentially, all day every day every other week I can be available for walking and sitting, or just home visits mid day to let pets ourlt for potty breaks etc. I do not currently have the ability to bring any pets to my home, but depending on the set up at the home of the client, monitored backyard runs or leashed walks would probably be the starting point of interacting with new pets.
About: I have base access! Where love meets professional care. I have years of experience with giving care from puppies and kittens to senior animals. I previously worked for a doggy daycare handling a range of pet personalities on a daily basis and pet sitting! I also have experience giving medications to dogs and cats if needed. I am a stay at home mom of two so my schedule is really flexible. Unfortunately my daughter is allergic so I’m no longer boarding but I’d love to be considered for drop in visits! I am currently not working due to being pregnant. Caring for pets is something I love to do that I can work on my schedule! I will do anything you tell me to with your dog, such as keep up with their training, not allow things to be done that you don’t allow, and if they love walks we will definitely go on all the walks they want!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Yuma. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
