“Melissa is amazing 🤩. My dogs are very skittish and they feel in love with her the moment they met. We love when she visits as much as they do. We will always book with her!”

“Cindy is very responsible and friendly. She answers questions promptly and I love that she sends me pictures of my girls showing me how happy they are when she is at our house. I recommend Cindy to anyone looking for a pet sitter.”

About: Every pet I've had in the past was a member of my family and very much loved. I don't have a pet at the present time. I am retired so I have plenty of time to help pet owners with anything they might need. Keeps me busy with a purpose. I provide all types of care and meet and greets are required. I don't do puppies unless it's house sitting. FYI: If you book during a non-federal holiday (i.e. Palm Sunday, Easter, etc.) and also if travel is more than 20 miles from me, my prices might be adjusted upwards to accommodate. I have a fenced front/back yard, a large grass common area and a community dog park/run for pups to run and play in without a leash.
About: I have been caring /training pets since I was little. I have cared for senior pets needing meds and IV fluids. I have a pet CPR certification, I have also been to vet tech school and am a certified assistant vet tech. I currently work at a vet hospital. I believe every pet deserves to be spoiled in every possible way. Also if you Zelle me it’s cheaper instead of paying through the app! I currently work at a vet hospital. I love taking pets on hikes and playing in the grass, I also love my big cuddle buddies. I do training, i am more than happy to teach your pet something that you would like them to know to make your life easier. Any meds your pet needs, I am more than happy to give them. If your pet has any interesting quirks, I can easily adjust to what they need. Please make sure your dog is dog friendly. For your dogs safety they will go in a kennel when no one is home.
“Audrey is AWESOME!! She is reliable, dependable and flexible. Audrey replies quickly to messages. She took very good care of our puppy, was attentive to details, followed all our requests, and sent us lots of pictures of our happy pup!! ?”
About: Hello! My name is Mia. And growing up our house was always full of animals mostly due to my dads ability to have strays “mysteriously” follow him home. Which then caused me and my sisters to follow in his footsteps which then led to a house full of dogs and cats. I have experience with dogs of all ages and sizes. But for most of my life we only had large dogs but as of 3 years ago we adopted a chihuahua mix named Snooki from the humane society who became our first official small dog of the home. Followed by a French bulldog, brownie, who we were fostering and then came to adopt. In my pet sitting experience I have had seniors and puppies. Each dog has their own unique personality that can require patience, consistency, and giving them lots of attention. I am comfortable with maintaining feeding schedules, routines, and providing an environment that feels like home while also tailoring to their needs. As a pet owner myself I know the importance of trust, safety, and communication are to pet owners. My goal is to make sure that I give safe, comfortable and loving care to your pet that gives both you and your pet a peace of mind. I am currently a college student that is taking 3 classes. Monday-Thursday are when my classes are from time 8:30am-4:00pm. But Friday’s, Saturday’s and Sunday’s I have free time. I care for pets in the clients home by following the instructions or rules that were given to me. And also my keeping the dogs routine and environment as close to their “normal” as possible.
About: I have always been a dog and cat lover. I grew up around cats and dogs and see them as furry family members. Each one have their own personalities, needs and wants. I live in Yuma and available weekdays, weekends and holidays. I can make home visits and take your babies out for a walk & make sure they are well fed and hydrated. I have a fenced yard and can easily crate your baby dog if needed. I have puppies myself and indoor and outdoor are safe environments.
“Makyla is an amazing pet sitter. She has watched my cat 5 times now and every time she makes me feel so at ease while I’m away. She truly goes above and beyond. Plus, my cat loves her!! Makyla is the best!!”

“Mabel was an absolute Heaven Send ! She loved on my 4 fur babies like they were her own. She made sure to be super attentive with their feeding schedules. She gave them lots of love. She also sent me lots of pictures to give me peace of mind that my kiddos were in good hands. I can not say enough good things about Mabel. But I can say if you need someone reliable and trustworthy to look after your fur babies while you are gone, trust that she is the right person for the job. No one will be more loving and caring of your little ones.”
“Elaine went above and beyond to take care of my two boys. She did such an amazing job taking care of them, saying thank you isn’t enough, Elanie is such an amazing person,I would 100% recommend her to everyone I know with pets. And will be rebooking with her again.”

About: Grew up with cats since before I can remember, and have 2 of my own now. During high school I would walk dogs and house sit for neighbors who had a range of dogs and cats. I currently am not working, so all hours are available to go house sit, or give walks, or just check in with your pet as needed Unfortunately I don't have the space to board any animals, as I have two cats of my own and in an apartment with a pet limit. However, I will follow any special instructions given. I am taking care of your pet, so I will always follow your rules. When housesitting I always maintain a clean space, and keep an eye on whatever your pet is doing. I will also bring in mail/newspaper, and do whatever other household chores are required. When dog walking I will always make sure they are secure at all times on the walk, I never take dogs off their leash. If it's a long walk I will bring some water so we can stay hydrated, especially during the summer heat. I'm also willing to stop in throughout the day to feed your pet and let them out to potty. My phone is always on, and am always available to you as you need.

I as a person also like having things tidy and clean so I do not like to be a messy person.
“Our Maisey was very excited to walk with Cheri every day. She sent lots of picture updates and was always attentive to the hot temps outside, since our flat-faced pup is susceptible to overheating. We appreciated the opportunity to meet with Cheri face to face, and love the live and post-walk updates. Looking forward to scheduling again!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
