“We loved Melissa!! First my dogs are very skiddish of people but they loved her the minute she walked in. We knew she was perfect for our fur babies. She played with them and made sure they were safe. Thank you for loving on our fur babies and making sure our house was in order while we were away. We will be booking again with Melissa soon.”

“This was our first time ever leaving our dogs with someone who isn’t family and it was hard having to trust someone else with our fur babies but Abbie did so great! We have big crazy doggos so it’s definitely not an easy task for others to watch them. She sent so many pictures, fed them, played with them and even let us know when they used the restroom! She was timely with each visit and responded so fast to each question we had! 10/10 experience and so glad we went with Abbie for our crazy pups!”

“She took wonderful care of my pocket pets and treated them with genuine affection and patience. It was clear from the beginning that she truly loves animals and pays close attention to their individual personalities and needs. I appreciated the thoughtful updates and the sense of calm she brought while I was away. My pets were happy, comfortable, and very well cared for in her hands. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate and reliable sitter.”

About: I have been walking and house sitting dogs and cats since I was about 15 years old off and on just to help my neighbors out (I’m currently 21). I’m very comfortable with animals and understanding of their weird quirks as I grew up on a farm. I have owned and fostered many different sizes of dogs, from Pyrenees to Chihuahua, I love them all! I originally from Yosemite, CA but I just moved to Arizona and would love to help anyone with their pet needs. I have just moved to Arizona from California and am new to the area but very eager to explore! I can be available day or night to be with your animals. I have my own car and no kids (just a husband lol) so I don’t have too much that’s holding me down! My husband is in the Marine Corps working in ATC on base. I will be completely respectful of a clients home and leave it just as it was found. I would also be completely respectful and caring towards any animal. My last job was as a housekeeper so I am no stranger to keeping a place tidy! I have pet sat for many neighbors and friends since I was 15 years old and am very comfortable around animals. For an animals safety and care I would love to send pictures, videos, or even FaceTime when it’s convenient for the client!
“Audrey did a great job with her latest drop-in visit to my home! She showed up probably at the agreed-upon time and was very attentive to the needs of my pets. It is obvious that she cares for them. Thanks Audrey!”

“We had another Rover booked over Memorial Day week who bailed on us last minute, Cindy agreed to watch our girls on short notice, came to our house ahead of the planned vacation to meet us and my dogs. She took excellent care of our doodles, was able to give our stubborn 10 year old medication twice a day and sent me frequent updates and photos throughout our time away. She went above and beyond to make sure our girls were happy and healthy. I will definitely request her services again in the future. It gives me comfort knowing that I can leave town for a few days and have my girls well cared for. Her fee was beyond reasonable for the care, love and attention she gave my girls. Thank you Cindy!!”

About: Every pet I've had in the past was a member of my family and very much loved. I don't have a pet at the present time. I am retired so I have plenty of time to help pet owners with anything they might need. Keeps me busy with a purpose. I provide all types of care and meet and greets are required. I don't do puppies unless it's house sitting. FYI: If you book during a non-federal holiday (i.e. Palm Sunday, Easter, etc.) and also if travel is more than 20 miles from me, my prices might be adjusted upwards to accommodate. I have a fenced front/back yard, a large grass common area and a community dog park/run for pups to run and play in without a leash.
“Makyla is an amazing pet sitter! She went above and beyond for our cat. Makyla is very responsive, which really reassured me that my kitty was in good hands. I will definitely use her as a pet sitter again!”

About: I’ve loved animals my whole life, and over the years I’ve gained experience through shelter volunteering, pet sitting, and caring for pets for friends, family, and coworkers. As a pet owner to three spoiled cats, I know how hard it can be to trust someone with your pets. I treat every animal like they’re my own and make sure they get plenty of attention, patience, love, and care while you’re gone. My goal is for both you and your pets to feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible. I know most pets feel happiest and most comfortable in their own environment, so right now I’m offering drop in services so that your fur babies can keep their normal routine and familiar space. As the owner of three cats, I understand the importance of individualized pet care. I bring this experience to my work, recognizing that each animal has unique needs and preferences. I commit to providing your pets with the same level of attentive, personalized care that I dedicate to my own pets. I acknowledge that each pet has unique characteristics, temperaments, and specific requirements. I am committed to attentively documenting all pertinent details regarding your pet's needs and am prepared to accommodate any special care instructions to ensure their comfort and well-being.
About: I have taken care of dogs for over 7 years. Family and friends have trusted me of taking care of their dogs, and if pets could talk they would say they had the best time with me. I'm currently working part-time. I'll have plenty of time to take care of your fuzzy friends such as feeding, playing, and bathing on the weekends. I have a good home environment and two friendly furry friends of my own. If needed I will definitely be able to crate your dog.
About: I've taken care of dogs in my family, as well as my own. I can take care of dogs of every kind and age, adjusting myself to their needs. I've helped their owners in walking, bathing, playing and feeding their fur babies, and I really enjoy it. I'm currently a part-time student at college, so I can spend much time with your pal. I am very flexible and can be available any time you need me to take care of your dog. I am available during the weekend, all weekdays but Tuesdays and Thursdays I am only available after 2 pm, any other day I can work my schedule around the time you need. I will keep an eye on your pet at all times. If the dog plays outside, I will be with them as long as they need it. I will remove all hazardous objects your dog can reach to avoid an accident. I would prefer the owner to have a fence, but if not, I will take your dog with a leash and never leave my sight from them.

About: I've taken care of animals for most of my life. I wouldn't say I have a way with them, but I understand them enough to meet their needs and keep them happy. Plus, I love activity and exercise, so a lot of dogs gravitate to me after a walk or 2 I'm currently working part-time, but my schedule doesn't have a lot of consistency. However, it does come with flexibility. I'm also very much a morning person, and I love to start my day with some activity. I am a massive stickler for the rules. If your dog has a strict schedule, is being trained, or has dietary issues, I will follow each and every rule you have. Plus, I absolutely adore animals. Big or small, cat or dog, I will treat your family like my own
About: I don’t accept hugs or kisses (only from fur babies). I will not book you again if you don’t respect my personal space. I rarely do last minute bookings (even if you are an established client). I do meet and greets at the park. I will observe your dog and also how you interact with me and your dog. After our meet and greet, I will provide my home address. Starting 2025, I will be taking time off for my birthday, my husband’s birthday, Valentine’s Day (and weekend), the second day of the county fair, the month of November and December (I will be preparing for a full marathon), as well the first week of January. Please check my calendar for availability. Unexpected life events or situations may arise. Thank you for your understanding .🙏🏼😊🥰❤️ I am not a trainer but I will give your dogs all the love and attention as if they were mine ❤️. You can read my reviews to find out what my clients think of my services. Please also look at all the pictures (I have over 300 pictures posted) so you can get an idea of what your dog will experience at my house. If you decide to go with a different sitter, I hope this information helps you. The care of your best furry friend matters. Don’t go with mediocre care just because it cost less. Do a meet and greet, schedule a day (or multiple days) of daycare or a night of boarding to see how your sitter interacts with your dog during the booking. There has only been one Rover sitter that has met my expectations (for boarding). She doesn’t live in Yuma. Whenever I have an emergency, I have to travel 5 hours to take my dogs to her. It is worth the drive. I only accept dogs that have all their shots (including Bordatella for kennel cough). I let all dogs roam freely around the house. If your dog is not potty trained or urinates out of anxiety, I will provide diapers. All dogs need to be picked up before 8pm (I rarely make exceptions depending on the situation). I wake up early and work hard all day with the fur babies so please respect my time. If you talk to me for long periods of time at drop off or pick up, I won’t book you anymore. I rather spend my time with the dogs. This is not mean. The dogs have taught me to be honest and authentic. I will also not provide service if your child is behaving like they are at a playground. This is not a park or a child care center. Please do not message me constantly, spy on me, or come look for me at my house to convince me to provide dog sitting services. This is a violation to my privacy. Please read all details. If you are new to Rover, you save $20 with promocode: LAIZAG47087 The following description is to help those who are new to Rover. Boarding-over night stay at my house Day Care-up to 8 hours Home drop-in visits(does not include a walk)- 30 min to an hour home visit to check on dog(s), administer medication, play with them, give them affection and make sure they have food and clean water. I highly recommend one hour so I can spend enough time with your dog(s) and prevent them from getting anxious. I will not book any adult dog that is expected to hold their pee for more that 8 hours during the day and for more than 12 hours at night. For puppies, my policy is not more than 4 hour during the day and not more than 7 hours at night. Your dog’s comfort is my priority. Walks -30 minutes to an hour walk (I highly recommend an hour walk if your dog is alone most of the day). This will prevent them from getting anxious. *The total cost of service includes a one time Rover fee (that money goes to Rover). *Rover takes 20% percentage of my pay. *Extended stay fee is automatically added if you drop off and pick up time are not the same (I receive 50% of that fee). This is to compensate sitters for their extra time. *Please do not send me your phone number or ask me for my personal number in an attempt to make a deal outside Rover. Rover can track the conversion. I think is important to have our meet and greet first. My rates won’t change. I will not book anyone who is hostile, aggressive, acts entitled or doesn’t respect my work or time. *once you send me a booking request, I will set up a meet and greet. The meet and greet is to decide if we are a good fit for each other. Meeting is NEVER more than 20 minutes. I respect your time, please respect mine. *if everything goes well at meet and greet, we can both accept booking. Rover will ask you to enter you credit card information to process your payment. The booking becomes official once the payment goes through. Some client find it helpful to bring their dog to day care before actually boarding their dog. This will help your dog become more familiar with me and our home. This also reduces the level of anxiety. It gives me us an opportunity to get to know each other. For large breeds, you must book a day of daycare before actually boarding your dog. It gives me an opportunity to see how your dog interacts with me and other dogs. This is to ensure all dogs are happy and safe. The following breeds must be crate trained (I can provide crate): Pit bull (or any Pit Bull mix), Boxer, German Shepherd, Rottweiler, American Bulldog, Bullmastiff, Siberian Husky, Doberman Pinscher, Chow Chow and Cane Corso. I will only crate them if I need to step out of the house (for a short period of time). These breeds need to be well socialized and exercised in order for me to provide daycare or boarding. I do make exceptions with dogs who have been traumatized in a crate. I will never put your dog in a crate if they go into survival mode. *If you are an established client and you are having issues with the Rover App, I can actually request booking for you (just send me a message in our latest conversation). I can also modify your booking (up to the booking date) in case you need to make changes. *If you are running late for drop off or pick-up (30 minutes to an hour), there will be no extra charge as long as you let me know in advance. I value your time, please value mine. *100% of the money you tip me goes to me. A tip is not a requirement. Thank you 🙏🏼❤️. *I'm usually not on my phone between the hours of 9AM and 9PM. I decided to try Rover as an attempt to be a full-time fur mom. I fell in love with the whole experience. All dogs come with a message of love and compassion. I am very grateful to my clients for their respect, kindness and trust. Dog sitting has allow me to meet some of the most beautiful people in the world. ❤️ I put my heart and soul into taking care of beautiful dogs. This is not a side job or a hobby. This is my full time job and I am proud of it. I know how hard it can be to find the right person to take care of our fur friends. I had struggles of my own. I was not able to find a long term dog sitter for my dogs. Luckily, I am now able to stay home with them. I am the daughter of immigrant parents. I was born in California but raised in San Luis, Mexico. I have a masters degree in Human Relations, a bachelors degree in Exercise Science and minor in Chemistry. I been married for 8 years. My husband is a veteran and he loves dogs. He helps me with the dogs on the weekends. You will see him in some of the pictures. In the past, I have mainly worked with children and teens (P.E Teacher and Academic Success Advisor). I have also had other jobs such as administrative Specialist, Community Specialist, Zumba Instructor, Substitute Teacher, Academic Advisor and Testing Coordinator. During Covid, I developed my own business mentoring children and teens (for emotional support). From all the jobs I have performed, dog sitting has been the most tender to my soul. I learn how to be kind and compassionate to myself and set clear boundaries with humans. 🥰❤️ My dogs will not be part of the meet and greet. I have learned to introduce dogs slowly (as well as toys). There is no rush. Dogs have different temperaments. Some dogs act differently around their owner and some dogs need time to adjust to each other. Your dog's comfort and safety are my priority. I will let you know if they don’t get along. You don’t need to be present. Thank you! I spend my day with the dogs. I even take them on car rides except when the weather doesn't permit it (high temperatures of 115 and above because you can’t even feel the AC in the car). I sometimes have to step out of the house to attend to a doctor's appointment, pick up a dog or walk a dog. It's never more than 2/3 hours. If your dog doesn’t like to be created, that’s totally fine with me as long as they are ok staying at home. I let dogs roam freely around the house but if you have specific instructions, I will make sure to follow your instructions. I don't take in more than 5 dogs at a time. This is to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all dogs. I will provide you with at least one daily update (with pictures). You are welcome to request more updates. Please bring dog’s food. This is extremely important because some dogs develop an upset stomach due to sudden food changes. If your dog doesn't like dry food, please bring frozen cook meals for me to warm up.
