“Melissa was AWESOME! First time we need someone to check on our Doodles and she was the best. Pre-visit meet and greet, dogs loved her, very responsible and kind. We will definitely select her again when we need anyone taking care of our two pets.”

“This was our first time ever leaving our dogs with someone who isn’t family and it was hard having to trust someone else with our fur babies but Abbie did so great! We have big crazy doggos so it’s definitely not an easy task for others to watch them. She sent so many pictures, fed them, played with them and even let us know when they used the restroom! She was timely with each visit and responded so fast to each question we had! 10/10 experience and so glad we went with Abbie for our crazy pups!”

“Lana was awesome! She is very easy to communicate with and responds promptly. We set up the meet and greet and key exchange easily. She shared photos of my doggies the whole time we were away. We came home to a tidy home and happy dogs! Highly recommend, and will definitely be booking again!”

“Priscilla was very communicative during the visit and sent pictures of the kitties. She cleaned out the littler and refilled their water. Hopefully will use for my next travels and definitely recommend!”

“Audrey did a great job with her latest drop-in visit to my home! She showed up probably at the agreed-upon time and was very attentive to the needs of my pets. It is obvious that she cares for them. Thanks Audrey!”

“Absolutely enjoyed knowing Kari was watching my 4 kittos. She sent daily updates and pictures to let us know they were doing okay while we were gone. Crockpot especially loved getting loved on by her. (She sent us some belly rub pictures.) Even our more shy cats were doing good. When we came home all were in good spirits. Would rehire her, and I do recommend.”

About: Hello! My name is Mia. And growing up our house was always full of animals mostly due to my dads ability to have strays “mysteriously” follow him home. Which then caused me and my sisters to follow in his footsteps which then led to a house full of dogs and cats. I have experience with dogs of all ages and sizes. But for most of my life we only had large dogs but as of 3 years ago we adopted a chihuahua mix named Snooki from the humane society who became our first official small dog of the home. Followed by a French bulldog, brownie, who we were fostering and then came to adopt. In my pet sitting experience I have had seniors and puppies. Each dog has their own unique personality that can require patience, consistency, and giving them lots of attention. I am comfortable with maintaining feeding schedules, routines, and providing an environment that feels like home while also tailoring to their needs. As a pet owner myself I know the importance of trust, safety, and communication are to pet owners. My goal is to make sure that I give safe, comfortable and loving care to your pet that gives both you and your pet a peace of mind. I am currently a college student that is taking 3 classes. Monday-Thursday are when my classes are from time 8:30am-4:00pm. But Friday’s, Saturday’s and Sunday’s I have free time. I care for pets in the clients home by following the instructions or rules that were given to me. And also my keeping the dogs routine and environment as close to their “normal” as possible.
About: I have had many cats and dogs since childhood, and love all pets. I also have a mini farm with 30 chickens and 2 goats. I am available after 6 pm M-F, and on weekends my avail. is fairly flexible. I would love to be able to help you take care of your family members. I feed my 4 indoor pets daily, as well as my 30 chickens and 2 dwarf goats. I love visiting with them when I feed them, and hope to be able to spread the love to your pets ;)
About: I have taken care of my families pets since i was 12, building a connection with their animals came so easy to me I love it. I am currently in college so I have plenty of spare time for your needs! I have a pretty flexible schedule and routine that is easy to work with. Ill ensure everything that is asked for is done well and accurately for your animal and will take responsible precaution with every move I make.

About: I grew up on a ranch, where caring for animals was part of my everyday life. I have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and other animals, including feeding, walking, bathing, and giving oral medications. As an Applied Biological Sciences graduate with a pre-veterinary focus, I understand the importance of safe handling, patience, and following each pet's routine. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, or a senior who needs extra attention, I'll treat them with the same care and love I'd give my own. I currently work part-time, which gives me flexibility to provide reliable pet care throughout the week. I'm typically available during the mornings and after 6:00 PM, and I'm committed to following each pet's routine for walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I always make sure every pet receives the attention, care, and affection they deserve. Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I carefully follow each owner's instructions, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special routines. I take the time to earn each pet's trust and make sure they feel safe and comfortable in their own environment. I'll also keep you updated with messages and photos, so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
“Elaine went above and beyond to take care of my two boys. She did such an amazing job taking care of them, saying thank you isn’t enough, Elanie is such an amazing person,I would 100% recommend her to everyone I know with pets. And will be rebooking with her again.”

“Ali is great and so sweet! She is very responsive and sends lots of updates and pictures which is so very appreciated! We are always so anxious when we are on trips the pups can’t go on, so getting updates on their day makes it easier on us! We appreciate Ali & will use her for any future needs while we are in the Yuma area! Thanks Ali 😊”

About: Every pet I've had in the past was a member of my family and very much loved. I don't have a pet at the present time. I am retired so I have plenty of time to help pet owners with anything they might need. Keeps me busy with a purpose. I provide all types of care and meet and greets are required. I don't do puppies unless it's house sitting. FYI: If you book during a non-federal holiday (i.e. Palm Sunday, Easter, etc.) and also if travel is more than 20 miles from me, my prices might be adjusted upwards to accommodate. I have a fenced front/back yard, a large grass common area and a community dog park/run for pups to run and play in without a leash.
“Makyla is an amazing pet sitter! She went above and beyond for our cat. Makyla is very responsive, which really reassured me that my kitty was in good hands. I will definitely use her as a pet sitter again!”

About: I’ve fostered dogs since I was in fourth grade, sometimes multiple at a time. Varying in size and age, sometimes cats as well as dogs. I am currently a junior at UWL and work an on campus job. I am going to school full time and my job does block off some of my time but I am willing to work my schedule around the fur babies. I live in the dorms so I will not be able to take the dogs into my home but I can easily take care of them in your home and easily crate if necessary. They will be provided with plenty of love and attention.
About: Always had pets growing up, primarily mid to large sized dogs and random critters. While I can't currently own any of my own, I would love to hang out with and give some attention to yours! Right now my schedule is 8 days on, 6 days off. So essentially, all day every day every other week I can be available for walking and sitting, or just home visits mid day to let pets ourlt for potty breaks etc. I do not currently have the ability to bring any pets to my home, but depending on the set up at the home of the client, monitored backyard runs or leashed walks would probably be the starting point of interacting with new pets.
The median cost per visit for pet sitting in Yuma is $20

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
