“After my first visit to Julia's house, speaking with her, and seeing her great fenced yard and the way her home is set up, I am so comfortable with leaving our pup Annabelle in Julia's hands. We did one day of doggy day care because I'm a nervous dog momma who wanted to make sure it was going to work out before leaving Annabelle overnight for an upcoming trip we have. She came home tired and very happy!!! I Ioved getting to see pics of how much fun she was having with her new dog friends running and playing. I am confident she felt so loved throughout the day. We will definitely take her to Julia's again!”

“Derek has taken great care of Hula, is very responsive, and seems to really enjoy spending time with her, which gives me a sense of confidence that she's in good hands when I'm away. :) ”

“Donna and Calvin were both extremely friendly and good with Humphrey. Calvin took him for a long walk and they played with him in their backyard. They were extremely flexible with timing and I would use them again!”

“Jerry was absolutely amazing! My booking was pretty last minute because I was so scrambled that weekend, but Jerry was able to pull through and helped me so much! Bud looked like he had an absolute blast with Jerry and Bud got taken on so many new adventures which he looked like he absolutely loved. Jerry was even able to pick up Bud for me which saved me so much time that morning and gave him a bath for me before I went to go pick up Bud later that day! Jerry is literally so amazing and I will definitely book with him again in the future!”

About: I’m a dog lover with one very sweet pup, Goose. I recently lost my beloved pittie, DJ, and while I’m not ready to bring a second dog into my family full-time just yet, I do miss having a second set of paws in the house. That’s why I started Rover. It felt like a beautiful way to share my home, help another family, and bring some joy back into my daily routine. I work from home, so your dog will have constant company, plenty of attention, and a peaceful, structured environment. Goose and I do two walks a day (morning and evening, when it’s not too hot!) around the quiet pond in my neighborhood. I have a spacious house with lots of room to play, sunbathe, and snooze. And yes, the dogs are absolutely allowed on the couch, the bed, and pretty much wherever they feel comfy. My backyard isn’t fully fenced, but I use long 20-foot staked leashes so the dogs can safely run, lounge, and soak up the sun while I hang out with them outside. What sets me apart? I really love dogs. Like, more than most humans. I treat every dog like my own, with gentleness, attention, and a deep respect for their routines, quirks, and needs. Goose is the ultimate host: calm, kind, and respectful with every pup he meets. Whether your dog needs space, playtime, meds, or just someone to sit with them while they nap, I’m here for it! Pet care is part of my everyday routine. I work from home, so your pup will have constant company, whether they want to play, nap nearby, or just follow me around like the world’s cutest coworker. Goose and I do two walks a day (morning and evening) around the pond in my neighborhood. During the day, I hang outside with the dogs for short breaks using 20-foot staked leashes so they can safely sniff, sunbathe, and stretch their legs. Inside, my home is peaceful, spacious, and fully dog-friendly. Couches, beds, and sunny windows are all fair game. I don’t use a crate by default, but if that’s part of your dog’s routine, I’m happy to include it — just bring theirs along. Your pup will be treated like one of my own. Loved, safe, and never left alone for long. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I only host one dog at a time (or one family of dogs), so your pup will never be overwhelmed or competing for attention. If it’s your first time booking with me, I like to schedule a quick meet-and-greet to make sure your dog and Goose get along. He’s incredibly sweet and respectful, but I want everyone to feel safe and comfortable before a stay. I supervise all outdoor time. My yard isn’t fenced, but I use 20-foot staked leashes so the dogs can safely lounge and sniff while I’m outside with them. Inside, it’s a calm, cozy, dog-friendly home. Couches, beds, and sunny spots are all fair game. I’ll keep your pup’s routine consistent: feeding schedules, crate time (if needed, just bring yours), and any medication they need. Whatever they’re used to, I’ll stick to it. You’ll get regular updates and plenty of cute photos, and your dog will be treated like one of my own.

“Alexis is amazing! I was in town visiting for a week and looking for a sitter that could watch my pup while I had a few beach days. She was very communicative, flexible and my pup loved hanging out at her house. I highly recommend her as a sitter and will definitely reach back out if we are ever in town again.”

“Benny loved his time with Amy and he was exhausted on the ride back to Charlotte! I really appreciated the pictures as well - Benny seemed very comfortable and loved in Amy’s home. His energy levels are high at times, but she clearly handled it well. We’ll be back when in Wilmington!”

“Kiernan was so lovely! She really did take care of Maya to the fullest. Would definitely use again and trust her completely with my animal. Olly was such a sweetheart super gentle with Maya and very calm natured, definitely a cute little friendship dispute the huge size difference. Thank you so much!”

“Susie & Paul were a special blessing to us and our pet! Their love for animals is clearly evident, and they were so accommodating to us and our schedule. They even provided great tips and directions for our sight-seeing time in the area. We will definitely book with them again if we are ever in the Wilmington area again.”

“Allie and Ocean are awesome hosts for daycare! Allie takes the pups on a long walk to wear them out and has a fenced in yard for digging and romps throughout the day. She is attentive to my pup’s needs and gives snuggles and treats when he needs them♥️ We will be continuing daycare with Allie as long as she will have us!”

“Honey had a blast with Ashlyn and Rosie! She loved the big, well maintained yard and all the long walks. Rosie was the best play mate for my crazy doodle and Honey really benefitted from such a sweet, active friend. Overall, Honey was very happy, well exercised and ,of course, tired (yay!) after her stay. We will be back for more walks and Rosie time soon.”

“2 day daycare stay: Katie was ABOVE and beyond not only caring for my crazy Millie girl (boxer/pitt) but also as a person. She was such a joy to talk to at drop off and pickup, and kept me up to-do-date with pictures and videos during Millie’s stay. I would hands down recommend her to anyone as well as use her again. If only she lived closer to Charlotte, all three of my dogs would be with her everyday! THANK YOU, Katie!!!”

About: I've grown up with energetic dogs since I was young, from a Wiener dog, a mixed rescue, German Shepard, Labrador & Boxer. Not only do I love dogs & all animals, but I love being outside and staying active, which is why most of my friends ask me to watch their dogs on such a regular basis. We go on hikes to Carolina beach state park, Leland nature reserve and poplar grove plantation. I wake up for sunrises at the beach every day, swim in the sound when it's nice out and go on lots of runs! A dogs love for activity helps me to stay more active while getting to enjoy all the fun & loving from them! I work from home, and try to get as much exercise / outdoor time in as possible in between. I also have a fenced in back yard and gated front porch so they can be outside while I’m home as well. Again I work from home. I go on at-least 2 walks a day without a dog, so I love to stay active and to have a furry friend to get me out even more. I also have a fenced in back yard and gated front porch so they can be outside while I’m home if they want!

“Could not recommend Matt & Lou enough! They treat my dog like she is one of their own and always send picture and video updates throughout the day. They never hesitate to help with some additional training and really take the needs of my dog seriously. Our Hazel absolutely loves spending her days at Matt & Lou's and especially loves the company of their sweet dogs!”

About: I grew up in a household full of dogs, so caring for them has always been second nature to me. As an avid dog lover, I know that every pup has their own personality, needs, and quirks, and I love getting to know each one! I have firsthand experience caring for senior dogs, including my own elderly childhood pup, so I understand the importance of gentle exercise, administering medications, and providing extra comfort and cuddles. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or needs a slower, more relaxed pace, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away!" As a college student, my schedule is flexible, allowing me to dedicate plenty of time to caring for your pet. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening cuddles, I can work around your pet’s routine to ensure they get the attention they need. I’m available for drop-in visits, walks, and overnight stays on weekends. I’m happy to accommodate special requests to make sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away! I tailor my care to match your pet’s needs, whether they love to run or prefer a slower, relaxed pace. I enjoy staying active, so I’m happy to go on walks, runs, or just take it easy depending on your pet’s energy level. My apartment complex also has a dog park, which is a great spot for dogs to safely run around and explore. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I focus on creating a safe environment where they feel secure and well-cared for.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every size since I was 10. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to feed, play/exercise, bathe/groom, and love their pets while traveling, moving, or working. Are the morning walks not cutting it for your pup? Do they still have too much energy during the day? Now introducing “Dog Jogs!” Instead of a walk around the block, I will take your dog on a couple mile jog, solo or with other pups, to use up that puppy energy so they will sleep all day while you’re working. Additionally, I work from home and have plenty of time throughout the day for regular exercise and bathroom breaks. I live in a dog friendly community on the first floor with direct access to a large, grassy backyard. Your pet will be looked after at all times during the day, and would never be left alone. I do not have my own pets at this time, and your fur baby would receive all the love and attention it deserves.

Susie is an amazing person and pet sitter. She took the time to chat with me and learn about my pup before I left from the drop off. Throughout the stay, I received updates and photos regularly. She’s very communicative, personable, and genuinely enjoys taking care of others’ fur babies. 10/10 would recommend!

Our dog went to Susie’s for doggy daycare and it was a great experience! She took a last minute request from me which I really appreciated, and Honey seemed to have a good time playing with their dog George! She sent plenty of photos and kept me updated! I would definitely book with Susie again. :)
