About: I've fed dogs based off their schedules that their owner informs me, walks with them, sometimes runs so they can get some more exercise. I am not a trainer, but I will give them attention and I love to follow the rules. I work full time in New York, so my availability can vary. I'm looking for a flexible schedule, sometimes can be steady in the weekday, depending on the month. I have a townhouse in Mill Hill area, and a park which is at the end of the block. I live by myself so I do not have housemates. I do not have a large yard, but I do dog sit for my best friend in New York at least once every other month.

“Lauren was absolutely wonderful! She stayed in communication with us as needed, provided pictures and left our house perfect.highly recommend and we will definitely book with her again!”

About: In my family and community, I have always been the one to call out when somebody is going away and needs a pet nanny. I just lost my dog of 16 years, I enjoy spending time with animals and would love to help people in the community at the same time. I am currently open and free all week, Sunday to Saturday. I am available to house-sit and/or do daily check-ins whenever it best suits the owner's schedule. I take safety and trust extremely seriously. Haven been a dog owner myself, I know how much our animals mean to us and how important is to keep their safety and surroundings secure and with the highest priority in mind.

About: Hello, my name is Cypress and I‘ve grown up in a very pet oriented home. I’ve taken care of household pets consciously since I’ve been about 6 years old. We’ve had about everything you can think of, chinchillas, fish, turtles, parakeets, crabs, dogs, cats and soo much more. Since i was about 6 years old I would save up my pennies and dimes and buy boxes of cat food from my local bodega and feed the neighborhood strays, always begged my parents to take me to our local pet store and would buy flea collars and bowls with the little change I had saved for the local strays and loved every minute of it. We’ve also always had large dogs in the household, boxers, French mastiff & even a English mastiff. At the age of 6 I would volunteer to wash these 100-200lb beasts and trim their nails, it was never a chore just something I loved to do. My pets have always been able to keep me going. Always gave me the love I’d longed for throughout this lifetime. Animals make me smile on my darkest days, and I love to show them that same love and compassion. 15 years in dog/cat experience :). I am hoping to become a full time animal care giver given the chance! Any time you need me let me know and we can work something out. I run a very animal loving household. It is just myself, my 5 dogs and 3 cats. My whole houss is pet proof, there are dogs toy bins in every room, multiple cat trees and the pets are allowed to lounge around on the living room furniture. My dogs have the own room and my cats have complete free range over the house. Both parties get along amazingly. However if requested the cats can go in a bedroom with the proper food and entertainment necessary while boarding is taking place. All of my pets are completely pet friendly however can be separated upon request during boarding.

About: I have a senior dog and a puppy (the best of both worlds). I also had a cat who unfortunately crossed the rainbow bridge. I have experience with administering medicine for both dogs & cats as well as bottle feeding for kittens. Working on potty training for the puppy, but a little tough with a senior dog in the house (accidents happen a lot). I currently work full time Monday through Friday, but can be available in the evenings once I get off. I also have availability on the weekends. Unfortunately I am unable to offer in home services at my own residence, but I will treat your animal(s) and home with the upmost care and love.

“Rachel was the best! I Zoe and Zen (our 50 pound dogs)) were well taken care of and seem to enjoy their mini vacation at her house. She was really easy to deal with as my trip had a few small changes. I really appreciated the picture she sent! My dogs give her a paws up rating!”

“Heather is a wonderful pet watcher! Our Juno really liked Heather immediately and was super calm when we got home. We had Heather stay at the house and she treated our home with care and everything was tidy and clean when we got home. Communicated with us with pictures often. Highly recommend her for you pet.”

About: Good Morning! I am Janiya and I’m excited to introduce myself! As an animal science college student on the verge of graduation, my journey with dogs began at a young age. I have been caring for my own dogs since I was just 10 years old, which has given me a deep understanding of canine behavior and needs. My academic background in animal science has equipped me with a solid foundation in animal care, health, and behavior. Through my coursework, I have gained insights into various aspects of veterinary medicine, nutrition, and training techniques. This knowledge allows me to provide not only basic care but also specialized attention tailored to each dog's unique requirements. In addition to my studies, I actively engage in clinical hours at a local veterinary clinic under the guidance of a certified veterinarian and vet tech. This hands on experience is invaluable. It has allowed me to observe and participate in real-world scenarios involving pet health care. From administering medications to understanding common health issues, this practical exposure enhances my ability to recognize signs of distress or illness in dogs while I am sitting or walking them. I’m currently doing clinical hours voluntarily and not a set schedule so I’m available currently Monday-Friday anytime and will update my hours if need be due to obtaining a set schedule for clinical hours. I believe establishing a consistent daily routine is crucial for both dogs. This includes regular feeding times, exercise, and bathroom breaks. For my husky, who is energetic and playful, I ensure she gets at least an hour of vigorous exercise each day. This includes walks, runs, or playtime in the yard. My cockapoo also enjoys playtime but requires slightly less intense activity due to his smaller size and older age. I ensure that my home environment is safe for both dogs by removing hazardous items such as toxic plants or small objects they could swallow inside and outside. Additionally, I use baby gates if necessary to restrict access to certain areas of the house where they might get into trouble. I have learned by following these steps consistently in caring for my husky and cockapoo at home, and applying similar principles when caring for clients' pets, I’ll create a nurturing environment that supports their health and happiness.

About: I have been taking care of dogs, cats and birds. Since i was a kid. So my availability and schedule is open. If needed on weekend. I'm also open. Open Monday thru Friday. Just contact me. 16. Danielle R.
“My name is Luann McCarty and I am a complete dog lover. I have a deep heart for animals but dogs are my obsession. Anyone who has ever loved a dog or lived with a dog knows the joy that comes with it and of course the responsibility. A few years ago I moved into a new town and was lucky enough to meet a young woman named Danielle Danielle was in high school and to this day I can barely describe how absolutely wonderful and amazing she is she is a loving and responsible young woman who is now in college to earn her degree in marine biology when she is home she walks my dog for me and my dog absolutely adores her she knows when danielle's even coming to the house let alone when she gets here they have a magnificent bond and I'm grateful for it . Mostly I am grateful for the very caring and compassionate person she is and that goes for me and not just my dog Danielle is dependable and caring and wise beyond her years there may be people who know her longer but you will never find anyone who respects her more than I do before she leaves my home she always asks if there's anything I need never once has she failed to do that There are very few people that I feel this way about but I can assure you someday I will tell people that I knew Danielle when she was young I have no doubt she will accomplish anything and everything she chooses to but the love and the bond that we have for dogs will never fade and anyone who would be lucky enough to have her as a dog Walker only needs to have her do it once and you will be a fan as well”

17. Hannah S.
