About: I’ve always been very comfortable around animals and genuinely enjoy caring for them. I previously worked as a pet sitter caring for a home with 7 cats and understand how important routine, cleanliness, patience, and attention are for pets while their owners are away. I also volunteer with Catsbury Park cat rescue and currently care for 6 cats of my own, so I have experience with different personalities, energy levels, and care needs. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine since I already care for multiple cats of my own every day. I’m currently available Wednesday evenings, Thursdays, and Fridays for drop-in visits and pet sitting. About: Good Morning! I am Janiya and I’m excited to introduce myself! As an animal science graduate student, my journey with dogs began at a young age. I have been caring for my own dogs since I was just 10 years old, which has given me a deep understanding of canine behavior and needs. My academic background in animal science has equipped me with a solid foundation in animal care, health, and behavior. Through my coursework, I have gained insights into various aspects of veterinary medicine, nutrition, and training techniques. This knowledge allows me to provide not only basic care but also specialized attention tailored to each dog's unique requirements. In addition to my studies, I actively engage in clinical hours at a local veterinary clinic under the guidance of a certified veterinarian and vet tech. This hands on experience is invaluable. It has allowed me to observe and participate in real-world scenarios involving pet health care. From administering medications to understanding common health issues, this practical exposure enhances my ability to recognize signs of distress or illness in dogs while I am sitting or walking them. I’m currently working during the week so I’m available currently on the weekends anytime and will update my hours if need be due to obtaining a set schedule for clinical hours. I believe establishing a consistent daily routine is crucial for both dogs. This includes regular feeding times, exercise, and bathroom breaks. For my husky, who is energetic and playful, I ensure she gets at least an hour of vigorous exercise each day. This includes walks, runs, or playtime in the yard. My cockapoo also enjoys playtime but requires slightly less intense activity due to his smaller size and older age. I ensure that my home environment is safe for both dogs by removing hazardous items such as toxic plants or small objects they could swallow inside and outside. Additionally, I use baby gates if necessary to restrict access to certain areas of the house where they might get into trouble. I have learned by following these steps consistently in caring for my husky and cockapoo at home, and applying similar principles when caring for clients' pets, I’ll create a nurturing environment that supports their health and happiness.

About: I have had my own dogs and cats for the last 15 years. For the last 10+ years I have been pet sitting and walking other people's cats and dogs. I have taken care of senior animals, kittens, and animals with health issues. My schedule is very flexible. I make my own hours and I work from home. I therefore can give your pet consistent care and attention throughout the day. I will care for your pet as if it was my own. I let them explore the house and make themselves comfortable wherever that might be. I want to make your pet feel at home and give them the best stay possible.

About: Over the years I've cared for the pets of family friends and relatives. From taking pups on walks & play session to drop ins for cats. Making sure I'm following dietary need for each pet. Getting to know the different personalities of each animal I come across is my passion. In my childhood home I was able to experience caring for puppies until they became elderly. Though most of my experience is with pits. I was blessed to care for a doodle mix & a shih Tzu in their last years. I respect all animals and their space. I currently work full-time 3 days a week with 4 day available to care for your furbabies. Saturday- Monday is my work schedule. Tuesday-Friday I am up by 7am cleaning my home or visiting my parents. By 12pm the rest of my day is free. I can do evening drop ins (after 5pm) or overnight stays on the days I work (leave by 4am). Am very flexible during the week. If you're in need of a sitter/ care giver for family or business trips. In my home or the client's home I will follow the set schedule the clients have for their pets. My home has a fenced in backyard where I can take elderly or less fit pups to play and potty. I also live in a dog friendly neighborhood where I can take your pup on walks. I do require a harness and leash set per pet with a portable water bowl to keep them hydrated on walks. A breakdown of allergies or sensitivities each pet has. As well as a bed or crate for them to sleep in overnight. At the client's house I would like to do a walk through of the property and learn the habits of their pet. This will give me an understanding of how to properly care for each individual pet in and outside of the home.

I accommodate your pet surroundings and where the caregivers feel is most comfortable for their pet throughout their home or in the community . About: I have extensive knowledge when it comes to caring for pets of all different types. From growing up with cats and dogs, to saving injured birds, I have seen a lot and done a lot for the betterment of all animals. I will treat every animal as if they were my own. I am currently a stay at home mom and have plenty of time to spend with any fur baby that comes my way. The fenced in yard will be an amazing place for any pups to run around in and I do enjoy walking so having a companion would always be welcomed. My yard is over 8,000 square feet, fenced in, and I have a little pup now that would enjoy extra company. I have plenty of space indoors in case of any crating needs. I have nursed sick and injured animals back to health as my love for animals runs deep.

About: Growing up in an animal loving home, I have had the responsibility of taking care of dogs, cats, fish, hermit crabs, birds, turtles, mice, Guinea pigs, and an iguana. Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, brush, clean, bathe, and play with their animals. I treat them as if they were my own and as if they were human. I currently work Monday to Friday 8-4:30pm and I am home on weekends. I am able to walk, feed, play, and follow potty schedules as you do in your home after work, on the weekends, or in my home for boarding. I do have owners who are ok with their dogs being in my home while I am at work but it is all about whatever you feel comfortable with! I have a fenced in yard with three house trained, dog friendly doggos. They get a walk everyday and let out as much as they need. My husband and I love to go in the backyard with them and run around or take them on adventures in the car. My dogs do sleep in our room, either in their beds or on our bed, whatever they prefer and that is the same option I will always give your dog. I can crate if needed/requested. Wally and Reed are fed three small meals a day, once in the morning, afternoon, and evening, but I know not everyone’s food schedule is this way. All feedings are separated from your dogs. My older dog has allergies and is given allergy medication daily as well as ear drops which makes me capable of following a medication routine. We also have a Furbo indoor camera that has all eyes on the dogs at all times and baby gates to separate large areas of our home just incase anything were to ever happen. There are times where I will be sitting other dogs as well as yours. All dogs are slowly introduced on leash in the backyard in a safe environment. I allow the dogs to take the time they need to settle in and get a feel and sense of smell of their surroundings. If an owner feels as though the stay will not work out, I am completely understanding. I would never want an owner or dog to ever feel uncomfortable in my home. If you are unsure of your dogs feelings toward other dogs, especially males, I always recommend a meet and greet in advance. I have never cared for a special needs animal, but I have taken care of very sick animals and making sure they are comfortable and accommodated for. If you have a special needs dog and are considering me, I would make all the accommodations necessary to make your pet feel right at home and comfortable.
