About: Good Morning! I am Janiya and I’m excited to introduce myself! As an animal science graduate student, my journey with dogs began at a young age. I have been caring for my own dogs since I was just 10 years old, which has given me a deep understanding of canine behavior and needs. My academic background in animal science has equipped me with a solid foundation in animal care, health, and behavior. Through my coursework, I have gained insights into various aspects of veterinary medicine, nutrition, and training techniques. This knowledge allows me to provide not only basic care but also specialized attention tailored to each dog's unique requirements. In addition to my studies, I actively engage in clinical hours at a local veterinary clinic under the guidance of a certified veterinarian and vet tech. This hands on experience is invaluable. It has allowed me to observe and participate in real-world scenarios involving pet health care. From administering medications to understanding common health issues, this practical exposure enhances my ability to recognize signs of distress or illness in dogs while I am sitting or walking them. I’m currently working during the week so I’m available currently on the weekends anytime and will update my hours if need be due to obtaining a set schedule for clinical hours. I believe establishing a consistent daily routine is crucial for both dogs. This includes regular feeding times, exercise, and bathroom breaks. For my husky, who is energetic and playful, I ensure she gets at least an hour of vigorous exercise each day. This includes walks, runs, or playtime in the yard. My cockapoo also enjoys playtime but requires slightly less intense activity due to his smaller size and older age. I ensure that my home environment is safe for both dogs by removing hazardous items such as toxic plants or small objects they could swallow inside and outside. Additionally, I use baby gates if necessary to restrict access to certain areas of the house where they might get into trouble. I have learned by following these steps consistently in caring for my husky and cockapoo at home, and applying similar principles when caring for clients' pets, I’ll create a nurturing environment that supports their health and happiness.

About: I’ve always been very comfortable around animals and genuinely enjoy caring for them. I previously worked as a pet sitter caring for a home with 7 cats and understand how important routine, cleanliness, patience, and attention are for pets while their owners are away. I also volunteer with Catsbury Park cat rescue and currently care for 6 cats of my own, so I have experience with different personalities, energy levels, and care needs. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine since I already care for multiple cats of my own every day. I’m currently available Wednesday evenings, Thursdays, and Fridays for drop-in visits and pet sitting. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and always make sure pets are fed, comfortable, and given attention while their owners are away. About: Over the years I've cared for the pets of family friends and relatives. From taking pups on walks & play session to drop ins for cats. Making sure I'm following dietary need for each pet. Getting to know the different personalities of each animal I come across is my passion. In my childhood home I was able to experience caring for puppies until they became elderly. Though most of my experience is with pits. I was blessed to care for a doodle mix & a shih Tzu in their last years. I respect all animals and their space. I currently work full-time 3 days a week with 4 day available to care for your furbabies. Saturday- Monday is my work schedule. Tuesday-Friday I am up by 7am cleaning my home or visiting my parents. By 12pm the rest of my day is free. I can do evening drop ins (after 5pm) or overnight stays on the days I work (leave by 4am). Am very flexible during the week. If you're in need of a sitter/ care giver for family or business trips. In my home or the client's home I will follow the set schedule the clients have for their pets. My home has a fenced in backyard where I can take elderly or less fit pups to play and potty. I also live in a dog friendly neighborhood where I can take your pup on walks. I do require a harness and leash set per pet with a portable water bowl to keep them hydrated on walks. A breakdown of allergies or sensitivities each pet has. As well as a bed or crate for them to sleep in overnight. At the client's house I would like to do a walk through of the property and learn the habits of their pet. This will give me an understanding of how to properly care for each individual pet in and outside of the home.

About: I have been taking care of dogs, cats and birds. Since i was a kid. My neighbors, friends and family's has called upon me to care for there pet some training while they are out of town or long day trip. I'm not working as of now. About: I’ve taken care of my pets for a little over 10 years. I’ve taken care of friends pets and neighbors as well. I speak both English and Spanish fluently! I am perfectly capable of bathing, walking, playing, feed pets. I have had an older dog for the past years and I know how to handle their needs and any disability they may have! I’m currently working part-time. So I am available for any kind of care that is needed for your babies! I am available for overnights on weekends and walks, spending time, anything during the weekday! I have a fenced yard and one friendly older dog named Maggie! Your fur baby will be more than welcome to play in the fenced backyard or if you would prefer them to stay in their crate, that is fine as well!

About: I have always loved dogs and been around them since I was little! This is a way for me to not only make money but meet so many cute pups! I dog walk pretty frequently for a few families and absolutely love every second of it. I would say I do it once a week but would love to do it MUCH more. In my clients home, I will make sure to play with the cat/dog and give them LOTS of love! I am happy to do whatever the owner thinks is best:)

“Samantha was Fabulous!! It was like having a Family member be at our home and watch the dogs. She arrived promptly, and the dogs took to her instantly, so did I! We have two large older dogs, and my daughter's 4 year old, diabetic dog were at our house so we could go out to dinner. With her background in emergency care, she clearly understood giving insulin. Our usually aloof male Lab, planted himself on the couch to be next to her, a doggie thumbs up! Throughout the evening, she sent pictures, and kept us abreast of what they were doing, and where they settled in. It was nice to be able to go out with the whole family and not be worried about what they dogs were up to, or if their needs were being met. We have already booked her for our larger Group outing for the Holidays...Samantha is a gem!”
