About: I have 15 years of extensive pet care and veterinary medicine experience including 10 of those working as Client Services for PennVet, Matthew J. Ryan Veterinary Hospital and BluePearl Veterinary Partners. Pet care is a natural part of my routine, and I prioritize it with love and attention. Whether it’s daily visits for feeding, playtime, and litter box cleaning or providing extended care for cats needing extra attention, I ensure every pet feels safe and comfortable. I seamlessly integrate pet sitting into my schedule, making time for cuddles, enrichment, and any special needs like medication administration. My flexible routine allows me to provide reliable, consistent care that keeps cats happy while their owners are away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I provide fresh food and water, clean litter boxes thoroughly, and engage in playtime or cuddles based on each cat’s personality. If needed, I administer medications with care and patience. I also keep the home tidy, ensuring the pet’s space stays clean and welcoming. If caring for pets in my home, I create a calm, cat-friendly environment with cozy spaces, enrichment activities, and plenty of attention. Safety is my top priority, so I ensure all pets feel secure and at ease while receiving the same love and care they would at home.

They have always been first in my life because they put such a big smile on my face. I have always enjoyed pet sitting because I know how much they miss their owners. I just hope I can be the next best thing and make their stay-cation as stressful and as fun as possible. When the owner leaves dogs don't know if you are coming back or not . I think pet-sitting is such a wonderful idea for them to have. I am currently not working have a lot of free time on my plate so I am very flexible with scheduling. I will work with what’s best for the client. I also have no problem getting on and off Joint Base MBL if you need me to pet sit there. I do have a husky who is very friendly but I would prefer to do drop by visits . I am very flexible to the situation.

About: I have worked in various different ways with animals and have even gone to BCIT for high school where we learned to be a vet assistant and dog grooming. I have pet sat for family friends and used to work in a kennel where we board both cats and dogs. I have had pets all my life and know how much they mean to you so I will give them the best care! I am currently working part time and have a flexible schedule. I am looking to do Rover full time eventually so I have even more time for your pets! I make sure the pets are comfortable and happy. Just write down what your pet needs and I will make sure to follow their schedule. I make sure to follow pets schedules as it can stress them if it is changed.

About: I am so thankful for dogs and cats, and love to be able to protect them and care for them. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and energy, and cats young and old. My experience includes administering medicine and insulin shots to old pets, and taking them to vet visits. I am known for being a calm and patient person, and am quite soft spoken, which many animals seem to appreciate. I enjoy communicating with them, and giving them all the attention they deserve. I care for their needs, especially when it comes to nutrition and medicine. I love brushing their hair, and have given some doggie hair cuts if need be. I don't mind them sleeping on the same bed if they need the company. My schedule is open to pet needs, as it is my primary focus. About: I have had a lot of experience with all breeds and understand the care for each. I enjoy being around all dogs and making sure they get the best care. I would love the opportunity to take care of your dog next! My schedule is very flexible during the week allowing me to offer pet care. Most days are free and I am always around to help! My animals care always comes before mine. Each animals and taken care of individually depending on what they need each day. I understand the need for a routine and care for the animal.

About: On top of having my own sweet baby, I have years of experience volunteering with Kindered Hearts transporting a variety of dogs to their forever homes. I am currently a college student so I have very open availability for pet care. As long as I am contacted as early as possible I can make time for almost any day or time! I have a fenced in front yard with lots of space for safe playing. My neighborhood is also very slow, great for long walks. I treat every dog as if they were my own!

About: I have always had and cared for pets. Cats, dogs, birds and reptiles. All my pets were rescues and well loved. I have helped friends and family care for their pets while on vacation or transitioning. Currently looking to make pet care a full time job. Transitioning out of my job of 30 years. I have lots of time and love to give. I have a fenced yard if I need to bring them home. I currently don’t have any pets after loosing both my dogs last year to old age. And my daughter taking our cat with her to Boston Every pet has their own special needs, likes and dislikes. So I will follower their fur families recommendations

About: Good Morning! I am Janiya and I’m excited to introduce myself! As an animal science college student on the verge of graduation, my journey with dogs began at a young age. I have been caring for my own dogs since I was just 10 years old, which has given me a deep understanding of canine behavior and needs. My academic background in animal science has equipped me with a solid foundation in animal care, health, and behavior. Through my coursework, I have gained insights into various aspects of veterinary medicine, nutrition, and training techniques. This knowledge allows me to provide not only basic care but also specialized attention tailored to each dog's unique requirements. In addition to my studies, I actively engage in clinical hours at a local veterinary clinic under the guidance of a certified veterinarian and vet tech. This hands on experience is invaluable. It has allowed me to observe and participate in real-world scenarios involving pet health care. From administering medications to understanding common health issues, this practical exposure enhances my ability to recognize signs of distress or illness in dogs while I am sitting or walking them. I’m currently doing clinical hours voluntarily and not a set schedule so I’m available currently Monday-Friday anytime and will update my hours if need be due to obtaining a set schedule for clinical hours. I believe establishing a consistent daily routine is crucial for both dogs. This includes regular feeding times, exercise, and bathroom breaks. For my husky, who is energetic and playful, I ensure she gets at least an hour of vigorous exercise each day. This includes walks, runs, or playtime in the yard. My cockapoo also enjoys playtime but requires slightly less intense activity due to his smaller size and older age. I ensure that my home environment is safe for both dogs by removing hazardous items such as toxic plants or small objects they could swallow inside and outside. Additionally, I use baby gates if necessary to restrict access to certain areas of the house where they might get into trouble. I have learned by following these steps consistently in caring for my husky and cockapoo at home, and applying similar principles when caring for clients' pets, I’ll create a nurturing environment that supports their health and happiness.

About: I’m a full time mother of one little girl that is 2 years old that will be joining me on these walks or will be around dogs, cats & etc. She’s loving and caring with animals, she definitely gets that from me. I love dogs and cats, I’m willing to check in on any other animals that need to be fed and played with. I’ve had cats and dogs all my life, so I know how to care and clean up after them. I know I may not seem as qualified as others out there but I promise I will take excellent care of your fur babies. I will treat them like they’re my own and that’s why I’m asking for you to pick me for this job to care for your babies.

About: I have extensive knowledge when it comes to caring for pets of all different types. From growing up with cats and dogs, to saving injured birds, I have seen a lot and done a lot for the betterment of all animals. I will treat every animal as if they were my own. I am currently a stay at home mom and have plenty of time to spend with any fur baby that comes my way. The fenced in yard will be an amazing place for any pups to run around in and I do enjoy walking so having a companion would always be welcomed. My yard is over 8,000 square feet, fenced in, and I have a little pup now that would enjoy extra company. I have plenty of space indoors in case of any crating needs. I have nursed sick and injured animals back to health as my love for animals runs deep.

About: As a Veterinary Technician I bring clinical expertise and hands-on experience to every pet I care for. That means: • 🩺 Medical support you can trust: Comfortable administering medications (oral, topical, injections), monitoring post-op pets, and recognizing early signs of illness. • 🐾 Confidence with senior and special-needs pets: Whether it’s mobility assistance or chronic condition care, I know how to keep them safe and happy. • 🐕 Behavioral insight: Years in the field give me a solid read on animal body language, helping reduce stress and ensure comfort. • 💗 Heart-led care: Beyond the medical side, I’m all about snuggles, enrichment, and respecting your pet’s personality and routine. • 📋 Reliable communication: You’ll get regular updates with photos and notes, so you always know your pet is in caring, capable hands. 📆 Weekly Rhythm • Flexible Scheduling I plan my bookings so that no pet ever feels rushed or secondary. Overlaps are rare—each furry friend gets full focus. • Routine Health Monitoring As a vet tech, I build in wellness checks throughout the week—subtle changes don’t go unnoticed when you know what to look for. • Updates & Communication I carve out time each day to send photo and video updates to pet parents, because seeing their happy pet in action brings huge peace of mind. • Rest & Reset Time I also schedule downtime—for myself and the pets. Play is fun, but naps and quiet time are just as important for balanced care. When I care for pets in their own home, my top priorities are safety, trust, and respecting the environment they know and love. Here’s how I make sure every stay is smooth, secure, and snuggly: --- 🏡 Respecting Their Space • I follow the pet’s established routines and boundaries to keep their stress low—everything from where they sleep to how they eat. • I make sure to leave the home exactly as I found it (or tidier!), treating it with the same care I’d give my own. 🐾 Prioritizing Pet Safety • As a veterinary technician, I’m trained to notice subtle signs of illness, injury, or stress, and act fast. • I do daily health checks during longer stays, especially for senior pets or those with medical needs. • I double-check doors, fences, and gates during playtime or potty breaks to prevent escape risks. 🔐 Earning Owner Trust • I provide frequent updates with photos and videos, so pet parents feel connected and reassured. • I respect personal property, follow all care instructions, and never bring outside guests without permission. • I’m happy to meet in advance for a “get to know you” session, which helps pets warm up and gives owners peace of mind. ✨ Creating Comfort • Whether it’s playing their favorite playlist, using the same bowl every mealtime, or mimicking a bedtime routine, I adapt my care to what makes your pet feel safe and happy. • I stay calm, kind, and consistent, especially with anxious or reactive animals.

“Val was wonderful! I am always so nervous using sites like this but she went above and beyond to make sure my dog was comfortable and well taken care of. My dog absolutely loved her, she was on time and very loving towards my dog. I WILL be using her again, and great prices!”

About: I am an experienced veterinary technician and have been taking care of animals for 20 years now. I can give vaccines, administrator medications, and insulin to diabetic dogs and cats. I want to give back to the community and give my services to those who need help with their fur babies , while they are at work before they get home and while they want to travel. I am so compassionate when it comes to animals that I definitely will treat them like they are part of my family. I am a Mama of 4 fur babies 3 cats and one dog. They are my life they all sleep in bed with my husband and myself. I wouldn't have it any other way. Animals are every bit an important part of my life and career. I work for Banfield pet hospital so pet care always fits into my schedule and I help take care of my families pets with nail trims, anal gland expression, and medication administration. We have a fenced yard with lots of room to run and play. Unfortunately, this is not a service that I will offer I will go to the pet parents house.

About: Me and my fiancé love animal we have 1 dog and 4 cats all very sweet and kind we take our dog on walks daily and play with her a lot as well as for out cats play with them as well to get there zooms out and we know how to grind clip dogs nails as well minus black nails sadly Our schedule is pretty simple we have a little fishing business we do on Wednesday Thursday and Sunday that’s it rest of the days we are free I have a dunces yard and one dog cage etc and we keep our house pretty nice looking we’ll try to at least but we mostly let our animals do what they want sorta we just don’t have our dog on the couch or bed our cats mostly play all day or just sleep about we are very relaxed with our pets and do walks as well

About: I've grown up with all types of animals and have had animals around throughout my entire adult life as well. I started caring for them myself around the age of about 11 I'd say. I have bottle raised kittens, helped raise puppies from birth to adulthood, worked on basic commands and potty training also. I have bathed and trimmed nails for dogs, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Extensive experience with small and large canines. Experience with cats of all kinds. I have ensured routine feeding, bathroom walks, brushing, adequate exercise, and medications if needed are all properly taken care of for dogs of my own as well as dogs belonging to family members homes. I am a stay at home mom that runs an online business so I have alot of open schedule. That means I can make time for pets ANYTIME and can work around YOUR schedule! I keep to a pretty set schedule and times for feeding and walks. I never take a dog out without a leash unless trained for things like fetch outside otherwise play can happen within the house. I live on eight acres of property, there is no traffic or close neighbors so it's safer for outside activities. If I do take a more public walk with a pup I like to keep them short leash close and on the inside of the sidewalk so they aren't near any possible cars at all. I almost never leave the home so I pretty much always am there to care for cats and dogs and keep a close eye on things. Nothing is left out ever that they can get into or cause any harm to themselves in anyway at all.

“I've known Lauren for several years, and I can honestly say she is one of the most compassionate and responsible people when it comes to animals. She has worked as a dog groomer, so she not only has experience handling pets of all sizes and temperaments, but also a deep understanding of their needs and behaviors. Lauren treats every pet like her own, always showing kindness, patience, and attention to detail. Whether it's going for walks, feeding, grooming, or just giving lots of love and belly rubs, she goes above and beyond. I would trust her with any of my pets without hesitation. She’s truly a natural when it comes to animal care, and anyone who books her on Rover will be lucky to have her!”

Amy R.
“Amy Reynolds is my little sister, so I am obviously a bit biased in recommending her. I can say, however, that she is a goodhearted and devoted caregiver to pets. We grew up with no fewer than two dogs and nine cats (!), and to each one she has been a careful and affectionate owner. Animals tend to take to her immediately. I highly recommend her services!”

Alyson F.Star Sitter

Teresa T.
“I’ve known Teresa for six years, and in that time, she’s become one of my closest friends—a thoughtful, dependable, and all-around wonderful person. She's an incredible mom and wife, and the kind of friend who shows up for you (and brings snacks). When it comes to animals, Teresa just gets them. She has a calm, loving energy that animals naturally gravitate toward; I've seen it in action more times than I can count! Whether it's walking a high energy dog, maintaining a schedule, training or just giving extra cuddles & love, she handles it all with care and a good sense of humor (which, let’s be honest, is necessary when you’re dealing with pets). 😆 If I had to leave my pet in someone else's hands, Teresa would be at the top of my list. She's responsible, kind, and truly treats animals like family. Rover clients would be lucky to have her! 🫶🏼”

Phoebe C.

Isabella P.
“Isabella has had animals in her life since birth. Cats, dogs, horses, rabbits, birds and more. As a teenager, she decided to start educating herself on their nutritional needs, daily exercise requirements, grooming practices, injury & rehabilitation therapies and first aid treatments. She has continued to advance her knowledge throughout her early adulthood and has amassed a well-rounded awareness of animal care. She takes enormous pride in the care and treatment she provides to all animals. Her passion for the welfare of all animals has no limits. Her knowledge, experience, dedication and responsibility qualities make her an exceptional pet care provider.”
