1. Amber H.

“Amber does an excellent job, our pets are always happy to see her. She goes above what is required to take care of them and our home.”

2. Kelly D.

“Kelly is a caring, sweet and thoughtful dog walker. She came over to meet Kaya before our scheduled walks and even brought homemade dog treats which she loved! I got stuck at work late two nights in a row and Kelly came to the rescue and was able to walk Kaya three times in one day. She was respectful of the property, fed Kaya her meds and gave her food when I couldnt get home. She was such a big help and I'm thankful we connected on Rover. We will request her again when we need someone to take care of our old girl. Thanks again for the pets and affection. 🐾🐶”

3. Vanessa B.

“Avery is amazing with our Kaya. She has a friendly, welcoming personality and goes above and beyond. She made sure Kaya had everything she needed, she showed genuine care for our dog. I'm so happy we found this Rover app and found Avery. She was our first dog walker through this app and she helped guide me through the process. We will definitely be calling Avery to help us once she gets back from college. Thank you for being a good human Avery! Kaya can't wait to see you again. 🐶🐾❤️”

6. Megan C.
“In the many years that I have known Megan, she absolutely is the best and only person I trust to take care of my animals!!! The care and dedication she provides, all around, is remarkable. She goes over and beyond no matter what!! There was a situation, that I witnessed, the dog that lives next door to Megan, was left outside and it started to pour down rain, no one was home....the dog was outside for a while and Megan brought him into her home, kept him dry and warm until she was able to get him back into his home. She just has a heart of gold especially for animals!!!”

Before his week-long stay in her home she made sure she understood his habits and needs so he would be comfortable. About: I have grown up with dogs and know the basic care needed along with some training and grooming capabilities. Your pup will be in good hands here :) I’m a stay at home wife so my daily schedule is very flexible and can accommodate for any needs. I always take my dog Murphy for walks and we enjoy going to the park as well. I have a dog, Murphy, who is very friendly and loves to play but in the chance that anything might happen I do have a crate that I can use as separation. We go on daily walks and can’t wait to have some friends join along.

18. Janiya S.
About: Good Morning! I am Janiya and I’m excited to introduce myself! As an animal science college student on the verge of graduation, my journey with dogs began at a young age. I have been caring for my own dogs since I was just 10 years old, which has given me a deep understanding of canine behavior and needs. My academic background in animal science has equipped me with a solid foundation in animal care, health, and behavior. Through my coursework, I have gained insights into various aspects of veterinary medicine, nutrition, and training techniques. This knowledge allows me to provide not only basic care but also specialized attention tailored to each dog's unique requirements. In addition to my studies, I actively engage in clinical hours at a local veterinary clinic under the guidance of a certified veterinarian and vet tech. This hands on experience is invaluable. It has allowed me to observe and participate in real-world scenarios involving pet health care. From administering medications to understanding common health issues, this practical exposure enhances my ability to recognize signs of distress or illness in dogs while I am sitting or walking them. I’m currently doing clinical hours voluntarily and not a set schedule so I’m available currently Monday-Friday anytime and will update my hours if need be due to obtaining a set schedule for clinical hours. I believe establishing a consistent daily routine is crucial for both dogs. This includes regular feeding times, exercise, and bathroom breaks. For my husky, who is energetic and playful, I ensure she gets at least an hour of vigorous exercise each day. This includes walks, runs, or playtime in the yard. My cockapoo also enjoys playtime but requires slightly less intense activity due to his smaller size and older age. I ensure that my home environment is safe for both dogs by removing hazardous items such as toxic plants or small objects they could swallow inside and outside. Additionally, I use baby gates if necessary to restrict access to certain areas of the house where they might get into trouble. I have learned by following these steps consistently in caring for my husky and cockapoo at home, and applying similar principles when caring for clients' pets, I’ll create a nurturing environment that supports their health and happiness.

19. Christine T.
