“I just cannot say enough good things about Amy and her care for my pup Beau. Above all else, Amy and Beau really connected, and seeing how comfortable and relaxed he was with her and her family gave me the ability enjoy my trip. Amy sent pictures of Beau enjoying his stay at least once a day. So glad to finally have found my dog person!”

“I Love them… They where soo good to Starlie… They were very very patient with Starlie…. They send pictures of my daughter… we talk… and I will refer people to them…. I’m waiting to see the dates… took rebook them again… And I will be using them.. If I need an overnight… Starlie had a blast…. When I say.. VICKIE.. “My dog get excited bc she thinks she going over.. to see her now”. Starlie can’t wait to see you again…”

“My dogs are my babies, and idk what i would do if anything happened to them, especially while I have to be away. Having to leave them with someone I didn't know well for the first time in 8 years was not easy. But I knew when I saw Vanessa's profile, it was the right fit. Vanessa and her family made their home a place where my dogs are at home. I have never seen my dogs adjust so well and feel so comfortable with someone they just met. If you want your pets to feel loved, protected and at home, Vanessa and her family are the best. She is a godsend and I am beyond thankful that my dogs adopted her, and she adopted them while we were away as of they were her own. She is a light and I'm so happy to be home w/ my babies again, but happy that I could trust her with them any time I need. We've and appreciate you Vanessa.”

“Stephanie Ann is awesome. She is so caring and so wonderful to our dog, Sophie. She constantly keeps us updated with photos and texts. I always know that Sophie is in good hands with Stephanie. Thank you, Stephanie, for taking care of our precious Sophie.”

“Sarah took wonderful care of our dog Duncan! I cant say enough about how well Sarah and her family cared for our dog when we were away! She was terrific with communication before and during our booking for pet sitting. She sent us great pictures of Duncan while we were on vacation, making sure we knew he was being well cared for. I would definitely book with Sarah again without hesitation. Everything went smoothly with the entire booking process!”

“We had a great experience leaving our dogs with Wanda. When we left them I heard them crying and was a bit concerned about them settling in. When we got home Wanda had texted and let us know they were setting in and sent us photos showing them relaxing. During the week we received multiple photos and updates on how it was going, which put us at ease. When we picked up the dogs they were in excellent health and very happy. We would highly recommend Wanda dog sitting services. Thank you Wanda, for taking such good care of our dogs.”

“What a great experience with my first time using a dog sitter for my very laid back dog, Lucy! The family listened and understood exactly what Lucy needed to have a great time! She absolutely loved this family, & so did I. They made me feel comfortable and relaxed about leaving her in their care! We have already scheduled the next visit!”

“My dogs were well taken care of and I got a bunch of pictures while my babies were in their care. Their kids wore my dogs out which I am sure made their job a lot easier as my dogs are very hard to wear out!”

“Meena and her husband are very responsible dog sitter. They sent photos of Sunny although it was just 1 day stay. They accommodated my request as well. I definitely like to my dog stay Meena's place in the future.”

“Teresa and her home were perfect for our furbabies. They felt so comfortable and at home and Teresa kept us updated and provided tons of enrichment and snugs! Despite my dogs having a hiccup Teresa handled the situation and I was able to not stress at all while away. Would 110% use her services again.”

“Nantikan was great with our dog Anna, who had a blast playing with all of the other dogs. Communication was always very quick and polite. I highly recommend if you want to be certain your pet will be loved just like you love them at home.”

“Tom was an amazing sitter for my dog Charlie. He sent videos everyday and that really put my mind at ease. I could tell she was loving every minuet of being on the farm and getting to spend time with his dogs. I could tell that Charlie was treated as one of his own and that he cared about her. I would recommend Tom to anyone and if I need to leave my dog again I know she would in good hands with him. 10/10”

“I couldn’t be happier with the care our dog received. From the moment we dropped him off, it was clear he was in great hands. The sitter was warm, attentive, and kept us updated with photos and messages throughout the stay. Our dog came home relaxed, happy, and clearly well-loved. It’s such a relief to find someone trustworthy who treats your dog like family. Highly recommended—will definitely be booking again! 🐾💛”

“Camila and Omar were amazing. They were responsive and flexible for the last minute request. They were very communicative and loving to Elmer. With a big back yard Elmer left their home happy and tired. Thank you.”

“I am so grateful to have found Samantha! My recently adopted dog, Brownie, has some anxiety around new people and in new places. Samantha went above and beyond to make sure he felt comfortable during his stay. Her apartment is so clean and cozy and truly a dog's paradise. Her dog, Cocoa, was so friendly and welcoming to Brownie. We got frequent updates during his stay and Samantha is super quick to respond. She is also very flexible around pick up and drop off. I truly cannot thank her enough for watching our sweet boy and making not only him but also our whole family feel comfortable while we are away by knowing that he is safe and happy!! Brownie didn't want to come home with me when I went to pick up because he was too busy playing with all the fun toys! He will be back soon! Thank you again, Samantha.”

“Gerry is the best. We just left our puppy with her for his first overnight stay and he was received with lots of love and attention. Would definitely recommend Gerry to others.”

“If I could give more stars I would!!! Kathleen was fantastic! My dog had the best vacation at Kathleen’s house!! She was great with communication and always sent pictures to show how happy he was! Beaus looking forward to his next vacation at Kathleen’s!!”

“Melissa and Dan were absolutely wonderful with my dog, Princess Leia. She’s a small terrier and very much a COVID puppy, so she hasn’t had a lot of exposure to other dogs. I was a bit nervous about leaving her while I went out of town for my 50th high school reunion, but Melissa and Dan put me at ease right away. From the start, my plan was to have Leia stay with them for two nights, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. They have a lovely fenced yard and several dogs of their own, which created the perfect environment for Leia to safely and gradually get used to being around other dogs. Dan works from home, so I knew she was getting plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. They kept me updated with several photos and messages showing how Leia was doing, which I really appreciated. It was clear that she was settling in well and getting comfortable in their home and with their dogs. When I picked her up, she was happy, relaxed, and seemed to have genuinely enjoyed her little “vacation.” I highly recommend Melissa and Dan for dog sitting. They truly love dogs, understand dog behavior, and provide a safe, caring, and engaging environment. I would not hesitate to book with them again.”

“Jennifer was fantastic. Very flexible with drop off and pickup timing and shared lots of pictures over the course of Goose’s visit. Would definitely leave my dog with her again the next time I’m in town!”

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
