Stacie kept him alive haha - our main concern was that he'd drink water to avoid urinary blockage /crystals that's so common in male cats and can also be caused by stress. “Tom's place is awesome!! I work at the nearby military instillation and I was using Tom's daycare services. He was open to a meet and greet the day before I was supposed to drop off my pet which was from 7am-5pm, and he met Ollie and then showed us around a bit which made me feel much better knowing my dog was going to be kept in such clean and organized conditions. You can clearly tell how well Tom takes care of his own dogs. Everyday I used his service I could tell my dog had a great time and got to experience what walking in a pack was like. He came home exhausted each day and Tom sent great pictures and videos which made me feel better. About: I have been around dogs and cats my whole life. Up until recently, I have raised 2 dogs for the past 15 years and cats prior to/during part of that time. I am a stay-at-home mom with 2 young adults away at college so I have flexibility to visit homes with dogs or cats throughout the day. About: 🏆 20+ yrs Experience !! BIG FENCED IN YARD !! *** SPECIALIZE IN LONG STAYS *** I love and respect each animal for who they are as I do people. I am confident when caring for any pet that we will respect and understand one another, I gage their demeanor and temperament and than go from there. I keep a calm and clean (but lived in) home and I utilize my big fenced in yard to it's fullest!! I love playing catch with the dogs and the cats I let them do their thing whether it's cuddling on the couch or if they are skiddish or shy I let them be until they are comfortable enough to be approached or to approach me. I also can give baths and trim nails! Need a sitter who has a big heart and a big yard? Call me! I have a semi flexible work schedule and I'm 10 mins from my house. I pop in and out during work hours and I'm home everyday and night 24/7 Cameras inside and out to keep an eye on the woof pack!! I am diligent on our daily schedule and bc of this the pups usually seem to get it after a day or two tops. I think sticking to a regimented schedule calms them almost immediately. Once they all have there “spot” where they sleep and eat the anxiety level instantly drops a few levels for every one of them. I have a large secure fenced in yard very open for running, playing catch or Frisbee, I can brush or bath any pet for you and I also offer nail trimming. Big bowls of fresh FILTERED water inside and out changed several times a day. I am diligent on dietary restrictions. Every day i make one on one time for each and every pup, they really love and appreciate it! i totally get that they need that time especially before bed. (I tuck them all in)

About: First there were up to five rescues who became my lifetime companions. Then we added two beautiful horses. We walked to and through parks, to the reservoir, up hills across streams, and at the marina. Oftentimes we shared the road with grazing cattle and communed with ducks and geese. We moved with the horses where we gave care and love to the horses and even shared property with llamas for a while. "Peachie" the cat has helped to strengthen my feline muscles through love and understanding his understated gifts as compared to the dogs. I am through, loving, caring, and pay attention to detail. I have also had the pleasure of caring for our neighbors' pets, and we currently share our home with two friendly, well-loved cats. What sets my home apart is the personalized, one-on-one care I provide. I am the sole caregiver responsible for every aspect of your dog's stay, including feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, administering medication (if needed), and providing individualized attention. I only host one family's dog(s) at a time, so your pup will receive my full attention in a comfortable environment. This is a family household where my husband and I live with our four children (ages 8, 5, and 2-year-old twins). The children are always supervised around visiting pets, and I remain the only person responsible for your dog's care. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet behind, and my goal is to give you peace of mind knowing they're being treated with the same love and care we'd want for our own pets. I can't wait to meet you and your pup! I work from home two days each week and structure my schedule to provide regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of individual attention throughout the day. On the other three days, your dog will be let out in the morning and walked if time allows. I get back to the house around 5pm and will resume caring for your dog like they are my own. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I only host one family's dog(s) at a time to provide a low-stress environment. Dogs are welcome on the furniture if that's what they're used to at home, and I'll do everything I can to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. As a family household, young children will be present, but I am the sole caregiver responsible for all pet care and supervision throughout your dog's stay.

“Melissa and Dan were absolutely wonderful with my dog, Princess Leia. She’s a small terrier and very much a COVID puppy, so she hasn’t had a lot of exposure to other dogs. I was a bit nervous about leaving her while I went out of town for my 50th high school reunion, but Melissa and Dan put me at ease right away. From the start, my plan was to have Leia stay with them for two nights, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. They have a lovely fenced yard and several dogs of their own, which created the perfect environment for Leia to safely and gradually get used to being around other dogs. Dan works from home, so I knew she was getting plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. They kept me updated with several photos and messages showing how Leia was doing, which I really appreciated. It was clear that she was settling in well and getting comfortable in their home and with their dogs. When I picked her up, she was happy, relaxed, and seemed to have genuinely enjoyed her little “vacation.” I highly recommend Melissa and Dan for dog sitting. They truly love dogs, understand dog behavior, and provide a safe, caring, and engaging environment. I would not hesitate to book with them again.”
