“Kathryn did drop-in visits for my cat for a week, and she was wonderful! She’s very responsive to messages/questions before and during the visit. My cat is not always interested in new people, but at our meet-and-greet, he clearly liked her and she was really great with him. She definitely loves animals and definitely “gets” and enjoys cats. For every visit, she sent a nice message about how he was doing/behaving, and his food intake and activities while she visited. She even figured out his food likes and dislikes very quickly! I had left a window open and she let me know she closed it because it was raining, which I appreciated. And for each visit she took great photos of him, which I really enjoyed—l miss him a lot when I’m gone and it was good to see him interacting with her, playing, etc. When I came back, he was happy, healthy, and his usual self. About: Hi, I’m Alek! I grew up alongside both dogs and cats, and now there’s no one I’d rather spend time with. I have lots of experience with dogs, ranging from young adults to seniors and everything in between. I’m particularly good with large pups, I had 4 German Shepherd Dogs throughout my childhood. I also have abundant experience with cats. On top of having an adorable kitty of my own (Stella), I used to help foster stray kittens and place their mothers in loving forever homes. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets! I have very open availability. Outside of Wednesdays I’m available for house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking at any hour you may want or need. The only holiday I consistently travel for is Independence Day. My grandpa, a lifelong veterinarian, taught me the patience to take a moment and truly try to understand what our furry companions are telling us. They may not talk, but they are avid communicators. About: All four of us are dog lovers and just recently had to put our 15 year old black lab, Gunder, down. It was very hard for us, but he is pain free and in a better place! We have a large (.5 acre) yard that is fenced and ready for more doggy fun!! We look forward to having a new best friend for a while and promise to give our full attention to your pup!! I currently work evenings and my wife works days! Our two daughters are very responsible and love all animals! If we are unavailable we will let you know immediately! We have a fully fenced half acre yard and can accommodate any breed or size of dog!! We are willing to follow any specific schedule for your loved one - diet, walks, play time, rest time, etc.!!
